So the countries that made their own Universities among the best have two heads abi? Back in the day's University of Ibadan, University of Ife, Nsukka were among the best in the world, you find foreign students and lecturers there but now what do we have? why can't you revive them back to standard. Fertilizer this Fertilizer that abeg my people na Achievement b dat? Let me read some comments
In the Military Era you hardly find a woman in the top Military hierarchy and they use top Military men as Cabinet Members then, so how do you expect a woman to be among his Cabinet Member.
He talked abt queuing to buy two tins of milk, he didn't talk abt the fact that, Buhari introduced d act of queuing during his Kick against Indiscipline program. Nigerians then usually rumble and fight to get something instead of orderliness. Saying they didn't buy one riffle for Nigerian soldiers, so the Insurgence he fought during his regime they used Cutlass abi? Abeg this guy no get achievement.

Of course he ONLY supported local auto manufacturing that has given Nigerians a sense of belonging in the auto assembly realm.. He ONLY gave Nigerians the opportunity to take decent and cheap train rides for the first time in their lives with a progressive rail expansion plan acknowledged by KPMG and co...
He ONLY endured the smooth privatisation of the power sector which has seen the most massive recruitment in history (Transmission company of Nigeria recruited over 500 in the first batch, Sahara group - over 100, ibedc , Bedc, eedc have collectively taken over five hundred graduates out of the labour market over 6,000 are to be trained and employed by 2018 if the plan is followed) . And all these with just 4000mw of power. Lemme add.that for over 17 years, recruitment into nepa was frozen which led to the promotion of charlatans in handling the power assets.

He ONLY made a significant impact in the agric sector that has led to improved yield and local production and export- this point is so starkly obvious, I don't even need to mention it..

He has ONLY done this and a "few" others I don't have time to mention here.....
To me you and your likes are just stating paper achievements. To the question is this enough achievement in 6 yrs?
BusinessRe: Fed Govt: We Didn’t Squander External Reserve by bakynes(m): 1:31pm On Jan 08, 2015
I want to challenged all the Jonathanians on NL to this questions. The Old locomotive trains back on track, a few train coaches in some states, improved power supply in few parts of the country, constructing some new Federal roads and abandoning most Federal roads, approving 12 New Federal Universities that has not even started operations, building Almajiri schools in the North, what else please feel free to add more. My question is, is this an achievement for 6 years in power with high oil price.

PoliticsRe: Biafra: Was Gowon Clueless? by bakynes(m): 5:05pm On Dec 31, 2014
The bottom line is Ojukwu should have seek for a peaceful separation instead of declaring another territory under the Nigerian Nation. It's an act of War he was fore warned but he didn't listen. So why blame Gowon and the Nigerian people for throwing their weight behind him.

oga....I have watched the video a million times....I know of the Belgian mercenary not the french.....and moreover how many were they? You talk as if a battalion of foreign mercenaries came to fight against the federal troops......am sure they were not up to 15.......
A south African white man was also there you are right but they also assisted with ammunition as well. Nigeria also got ammunition supply from Foreign countries as well.

so how come all the documentaries I watched, the books I have read about the war,the secret CIA cables on the civil war and what was passed down by those who fought the war,it is obasanjos book that would tell me the countries supported the biafrans? Mind you, the israelis had their own problems in 1967....the russains wanted to make deals with ojukwu in supply for ammunitions which he refused.....I wonder where the italians, germans, spanish came from......please list other sources other than obasanjos my command to prove your point.....because I know that obasanjo was an engineer not in the intelligence department......even his book my command to an extent had be countered by some of his peers in the army.....mind you,I had an obsession about knowing exactly what happened during the war.....so I know what am saying....don't mis inform people please.....
Mr Man stop arguing go and watch " The Real Story of Nigeria" and see where they interviewed French and Belgian Mechaineries fighting for Biafra. STOP ARGUING AND LEARN

noblezone:
your post is not only out of point, it is also irrelevant as far as this thread is concerned!

My post is very clear and my question very simple!

I said Ojukwu was blamed for the millions of deaths in Biafra! The killings were carried out by Nigerian soldiers? Gowon was the head of state, he was not blamed!

Now, Jonathan is the head od state and Boko Haram led ny Shekau is waging war against Nigeria!

Most of the deaths occur from Shekau and his Islamic army, yet, Jonathan is blamed and not Shekau.

My question is why?
Any right thinking Nigerian will be behind Jonathan. People are just angry with the way he is handling the issue with all the resources @ his disposal. But when you hear the first lady doesnt believe any girls were kidnapped one wld assume the president is not serious abt tackling the insurgency bt believe some pple are out to destabilize his administration, why not tackle the insurgency fish out the pple behind it if you say you know them. He shdnt even be making such statements if he knows he won't fight them coz he is the C-in-C how do you expect pple to take such statement.

the funny thing about the coup was that there were both yoruba and hausa in the coup....but for some reasons unknown to us,it was labelled an igbo coup....
I recently watched a video called "The Real Story of Nigeria" and according to it just one Yoruba Soldier was among the junior igbo officers. That was why the Hausa Soldiers retaliated by killing the igbo soldiers in the Army.
PoliticsRe: Biafra: Was Gowon Clueless? by bakynes(m): 12:51pm On Dec 31, 2014
Mr noblezone don't blame anyone but your kins men who killed all d leaders of other regions and left their own. Zik was there they didn't kill him but they killed Akintola, Ahmadu bello and Tafabalewa. Ironsi would have made things right if he had executed the igbo junior officers who who killed the other regions leaders bt what did he do he installed a Federal Military Government and made himself the head of state and left the igbo junior officers unpunished.

Something they can never allow in the East, this Aliyu guy is nt Yoruba. You cannot even b class rep in any School in the East not to talk of other tribes holding an elective position. They can't even sell u land to build a house. We have an igbo commissioner in Lagos, the Lagos APC spokeman is igbo, another igbo is d DG of a Lagos state agency can't recall d name. So if he wants to win in Lagos he shd go and convince his pple to tolerate other tribes and religion.
PoliticsRe: BREAKING NEWS: Bomb Blast Students At Assembly Ground by bakynes(m): 12:30pm On Nov 10, 2014
I will still blame GEJ because in 2011 when they bombed the Police HQ and UN Building,he should have fought this insurgency head on, these guys were not that powerful then now they ve gained more ground in the North East and have more resources @ their disposal. Too late to eradicate them, we Nigerians shd brace up as these insurgency will not be ending soon. But will be interesting to wait and see if BH is fighting because Jonathan is the president.

Mongols conquerd and pillage China, but how is China today?
Mansa Musa was very rich, lavishing his wealth in Mecca, built a library in Timbuktu. How is Mali today?
Enough of all these stories, civilizations were built and destroyed all over the world but people bounced back, why cant we blacks/Africans bounce back, why do we allow strangers to destroy us physically and mentally. Those who bounced back were able to do so because as the conquoror were destroying physical things they maintained their heads, their cultures and traditions were maintained, but in Africa, we lost it all. It is not the destuction of mud walls or carting away of bronze image that is the problem, it is the loss of our cultures and traditions!
Transatlantic slavery for over 2 centuries destroyed everything culture and tradition Black Africans had. I do not believe Africans were more civilized than the Europeans but the Europeans who came to Africa could have worked hand in hand with Africans like they did with Indians and Asians but they chose to enslave us. Teach us not enslave us take away everything we had and impose yours, by such act overtime every tradition and culture you have will fade away. They keep saying Africans needs to be given an iron hand for them to make us civilized. By enslaving us for over 200 years how do you expect us to bounce back.

Same behaviour as my ex gf, very temperamental, she also tears my shirt, slaps me when she catches me wooing a girl on social network chats. The sex was fantastic that was why I found it very difficult to quit the rship then, until one day she threw my clothes on the street and threatened to tear my original car documents. Me that promised myself never to lay hands on a woman found myself whipping her with my belt. We then ended it after 2 years of been together.

dammytosh:
You hit the nail on the head.

There is Sympathy for Don Jazzy because of the betrayal picture painted for the split.

EVerythin Don Jazzy is ok, anything Dbanj needs to go back to Don Jazzy.

Some one even credited Don Jazzyfor Collabo, meanwhile. Song, mix + production has no input from the Don Jazzy. He was just featured the way any other artiste would have been featured.

Dbanj is well hated and thanks to Don Jazzy's image mangement online. Sharing of recharge card, mobey etc on twitter.
Your are very correct, the betrayal picture painted by Don jazzy has made people hate dbanj and love for Don jazzy more. For those saying Don jazzy picked up dbanj from the gutter ignorant people bcoz dbanj and Don jazzy met in the UK, don jazzy was a young talented producer and dbanj a young back up singer and they decided to pull resources together to come back home and establish a record label called Mo'hit owned by the two of them, dats why after the split none of them was able to hold on to the name. As for who has grown more, I say dbanj because he has gone int'l now, money doesn't mean success besides u can't know who has more money because u don't have their account details.but I bet dbanj as a beats ambassador that would fetch him more money than Don jazzy and his loyal milk endorsement.

@ OP you didn't watch the presidential media chat he said it clearly that stealing is not the same thing as corruption. Is obvious you don't know how other climes work I have lived in the UK before and if there is a slight rumour abt you been corrupt the prime minister drops you immediately. Why did he show support for an impeached Governor doesn't he know the constitution, how about showing support for Omisore and giving him presidential award for doing what exactly a man that we all know killed Bola Ige. How abt the Otedola/Farouk scandal clear evidence to see yet he did nothing. NGF election supporting 16 over 19 and many more, now defend him.

Your support for Jonathan is making you look foolish, when it comes to development he has tried bt he supports corrupt people too much, why should he grant alams presidential pardon someone who the UK is still looking for, oya defend your Jonathan now or you don't know alams is still on the wanted list in the UK.
