mrham03: there are close to 5million nigerians in ghana with more coming in each minute. How can that be if our economy is bad?
My friend Nigerians are like Inidans and Chinese you find them in thousands and millions in various parts of the world. The Nigerians you have in Ghana is not as a result of poverty or being a refugee like Ghanaians were. Refugees in Nigeria back in the day's bt because most of them are business men and women who believe the Nigerian market is too competitive for them and wants to exploit from the Ghanaian market.

iamord: The gas plant will be ready by Q4 of the year. And will be able to supply the countries needs as well as for export. Also the government is working in hand with companies and institutions to bring in alternative power sources ..so Its a temporary hitch .. For me the west africa gas project was a total waste. It would have been used for something more productive. there is nothing to be proud of as a Nigerian on this news, I know that a vessel damaged the pipe along the togo coast . But even at that nigeria has never lived up to the contract, something that is being paid for. It also affects togo and benin rep cos ghana supplies them electricity. There is need for maturity and wide decision if the sub region is to move under the ecowas body
My friend Nigeria created the Ecowas body. All you other west African countries benefit from us tell me what we benefit from Ghana? I do not hate Ghana but when you hate a country that has always been there for you since time memorial then you leave me no choice than to hate on Ghana as well.

360command: I agree with you all who quoted me on this aspect but you need to understand that our govt has failed completely. We are in a globalised economy where the money in revenue is suppose to fix our power generation but we are not doing it. We just hope by doing this, we are fixing whatever problems we are having internally. Please stop giving that old rumours about we supplying electricity to togo and Benin. Ghana has taking over. You supply electricity and yet you don't have electricity, what kind of nonsense talk is that. Not quite long,Nigeria was asking congo to supply electricty to Nigeria and yet you are telling me you are supplying electricity to togo and benin--->which kine nonsense talk b dis.
This is where u don't understand the Nigerian govt they prefer to sell power to others to make money to steal than give electricity to their own people. An official of General Electric said Nigeria can meet its power demands if it fully utilizes its natural gas. Besides Electricity has improved in Nigeria so what are we talking about.

iamord: Did u bother to take some time to research if nigeria gives light to togo and benin?
Which other research should be done can't you read and comprehend.
BusinessRe: Nigeria Cuts Gas Supply To Ghana Over Strike by bakynes(m): 9:48am On Sep 18, 2014
Vessi: 360Command. Nigeria is being diplomatic to fellow West Africans by placing them above the ulterior purpose of satisfying Nigerians first.
Aren't you more foolish than before? Not to understand that?
I know we supply electricity to Benin and Togo coz a church member is a top former PHCN official and people from Benin and Togo usually call him to complain they should have turned on the power switch for them. The truth is our government needs to stop supply of gas to Ghana and other west African countries at subsidized rate and satisfy us first before our neighbors. Let them go and fend for themselves it's high time we stop these supplies to our ungrateful kid sister called Ghana.
SportsRe: Nigeria To Return To Abuja National Stadium by bakynes(m): 9:07am On Sep 18, 2014
If Akwa ibom stadium isn't ready yet they shd bring it to teslim Balogun stadium with good pitch and enough turn up. At least LASG hosted two la liga teams there sometime ago. Abuja is not safe and low turn up by fans. I know NFF are just afraid of Lagos fans coz they will mob SE players if they play rubbish. The way South Africans spoke ill of that Calabar Stadium na disgrace o

This OXYGEN01 guy is just making a fool of himself by quoting everyone here. Nigeria is too big to be compared to Ghana compare yourselves with Togo,Benin republic and your likes. With all our problems, we are still the strongest black nation in the world. South Africa is Euro-Africa so they ve been striked out.
BusinessRe: Nigeria Cuts Gas Supply To Ghana Over Strike by bakynes(m): 8:25am On Sep 18, 2014
Nigerians should quit talking to this rats called Ghanaians. A country that is 80 % dependent on Foreign aids and Nigerian investments is not a country that should be taken seriously in the committee of nations.
BusinessRe: Nigeria Cuts Gas Supply To Ghana Over Strike by bakynes(m): 8:12am On Sep 18, 2014
Ghana needs Nigeria in almost every sector of their economy from banking( UBA, Zenith,GTB) to telecomms (Glo) to movie industry( Nollywood market) to Gas supply for Energy needs and other aspects yet they brag and say all sorts of bad things about Nigeria bunch of useless people. Tell me one thing Nigerians benefit from Ghana.

PoliticsRe: Atiku Kicks Against Automatic Ticket For Buhari by bakynes(m): 10:15am On Sep 17, 2014
new2020: APC are just wasting their time, especially money. What can't you people understand? Jonathan re-election is already locked down 100% in the SS and SE. No presidential nominee can ever win an election in Nigeria without the support of these two regions. Whether APC adopts Buhari/Fashola 2015, Moses/Jesus 2015, SS and SE people minds have already made up their minds for Jonathan.
I don't think u r okay so u mean SS and SE have more votes than the Core North as well as the SW u must be dreaming

Am sure most of the South Africans are white Dutch descendants. Negligence and greed are the words here trying to make more money from a foundation built for 4 storey to a 6 storey building.

I remember some guys as adolescents, we play football together on my street then,we were very close though they came from a poor background. Now have graduated and now working, they didn't go to school but when I see them I still hail them even when am driving pass, I wave or park to talk to them. But ladies especially when they go for service they get carried away by the new environment, you call them for days no response and then later pick giving u shit story.

PoliticsRe: SSS Absolves Iherijirka Of BH Sponsorship Without Investigations by bakynes(m): 8:06am On Sep 06, 2014
Like many have said on this thread him been a COAS doesn't exonerate him from been a bokoharam sponsor.Even in movies we have seen where a CIA director was behind a certain group of terrorist and was still fighting them. The Australian negotiator is no ordinary person that should make an accusation and be ignored, if Nigeria is really serious in the fight against insurgency.Ali Modu sheriff and iherijirka were both mentioned so why quiz one and leave d other bcoz he is not a northerner or a Musllim that is very unprofessional of the SSS.
PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Suspect: We Were Sent To Bomb Lagos Airport by bakynes(m): 10:55am On Aug 19, 2014
The Nigerian govt needs to do something about our land and sea borders once and for all. Months back, I went to a road side cobbler to get my slippers fixed and as I was in btw a conversation with the guy, he told me he was from Niger, I was surprised like how d hell did he get into Lagos all d way from Niger. Funny enough most of us southerners cannot differentiate them from the Hausa/Fulanis.

PoliticsRe: Atiku Ready To Declare For Presidency, APC Plans For National Convention by bakynes(m): 7:55am On Aug 18, 2014
SangoCrusader: If APC do not have the sense to cast Fashola, Amaechi, or Oshiomhole for the presidential ticket in 2015, I would rather vote the fisherman back in power in disgust. With all the fantastic performers in their party, they are still looking to front old cargoes. SMH

'The man from Lagos' for 2015 abeg...
In as much as The likes of Fashola, Amaechi and Oshiomhole are better candidates for the job, they do not hold a strong fan base in Nigeria. The closest person to compete with Jonathan an incumbent president is to field GMB Who is loved by many Northerners and some little sympathizers from the south west whether he will perform or not is not APC's issue for now bt to win in 2015.
