In one breadth, you say that you don't condone violence, yet you don't know that there are several tribes residing in Lagos legitimately who pay as much taxes as the locals. As such they must be interested in whose hands there resources are entrusted, by going go out to vote Except you are saying that they return back to their homesteads, or stop paying taxes. There is no way these Ibos alone can outnumber the locals. If all the locals are choosing one particular candidate then it is a done deal. In a Cosmopolitan city, state or country, it's difficult to play the ethnic card and expect victory. Good governance and all inclusiveness is key This is the reason why Obama became President and Sunak, the Prime minister.

They pay taxes and enjoy the amenities and infrastructures together with the indigenes. Other tribes go to Lagos state subsidised schools, enjoy almost free health care and ride on the same paved road as the indigenes, enjoy subsidised BRT. Local politics should be left to Locals. Obama and Sunak where chosen by not just the Indian people but also by Majority of the English people. Sunak doesn't go about shouting the UK is no man's land.

We are only deceiving ourselves with this one Nigeria, Let's go back to the how we ran a regional government with a central government. We are not the same people and we have different cultures, traditions and values.

See I don't condone violence but it seems South Easterner have forced the hands of Yorubas in Lagos. Every state elections are determined by the indigenous people or indigenous tribe of the state. Igbos should not interfare in the local politics of another state because of their huge population.

In the South East you lot choose your leaders with no external influence. Let the locals choose their leaders either the leader improvise them or not, let them learn to choose by themselves. Your region is not faring any better anyway.

Igbos should focus on Politics in the South East to choose better leaders.

I think Edo and Delta state will be a more viable option. West to the left and East to the right will meet in the center. No more fighting. Maybe even add parts of Kogi so it can link to Abuja. You now have a big big expanse of land as the capital.

Let's assume its achievable, when Igbos starts calling Kogi or Edo a "No man's land" and interfering with their politics, the same thing if not worst will happen to them.All tribes in Nigeria exhibit tribalism but Yorubas are still the most tolerant.

Learn from the Northerner, they don't interfare with the politics of whichever state they reside in. Do your Business, prospers, you can even engage in the Entertainment industry, agricultural sector and all other spheres in the state but never interfare in local politics.

Just last year before Peter Obi, declared his intention to run for President, a lot of my colleagues here could not travel to the east as they usually do because of fear of IPOB, No election order, stay at home order on Mondays. They won't talk about that, its the one happening in Yoruba land that will concern them.

This thread should be an eye opener for Yorubas that don't travel outside the SW. Let no IPOB deceive you or make jest of your tribe because of Agebero in Lagos or Ibadan. Their own is far worst than yours. The igbos should remove the log from their own eyes first before trying to remove the log from the eyes of Yorubas.

All Igbos in Lagos should focus their attention on SE politics and leave Lagos Politics to indigenous Yoruba Lagosians.

APC did not get 25% in all SS regions. Look at those results carefully.
APC got 25% in about 23 states
LP won the popular votes but not 25% in up to 20 states.

PDP did not get 25% in up to 22 states.
Tribunal is likely to order fresh elections in disputed areas or order rerun between LP and either of PDP or APC after computation by the court.

I think APC knew that rerun wouldn't favour them and opted for manipulation. LP and PDP would definitely form allliance during rerun.

I agree with you 100%, this is the same position I tell Obidients but they are to emotional to accept the truth. Muslim core Northern states don't know Obi reason why he could make the 25% in 24 states provision. I am sure he won the Majority votes though because APC/PDP/NNPP shared their votes in the core North. APC rigged votes in the SS to clinch the Majority votes over all. That's what happened in this election, the elections ought to have been decided by a Re-run.

Alimosho is a testament that a lot of Yourbas voted for Obi enmass.

Both Obi and Atiku won their states, Tinubu didn't win any of his states (Lagos and Osun)

It just tell you if Obi can win Tinubu in Alimisho a Yourba majority area, it means many Yorubas also voted Obi. So Igbos should not come and say they were the only ones who voted Obi in Lagos because Alimosho has always been an APC stronghold because of its majority Yoruba population.

Labour won in Alimosho meaning Obi won Lagos.

Alimosho stronghold of the APC, Ojo Stronghold of PDP before now, now LP. Let's see how it plays out. APC will win in Alimosho and LP in Ojo. If Tinubu get huge Margins in Alimosho, then he wins Lagos. If the results are close margins in Alimosho, Ojo will make Obi win Lagos.

Mushin result is Out, Tinubu won Obi by 12k votes. With this the difference will be in hundreds. Ojo and Alimosho is the final decider.

I would like to see what would happen in March for the Gubernatorial election, will Igbos and all the Liberal Yorubas come out enmass to vote Gbadebo Rhodes- Vivour the LP candidate as Governor of Lagos? I seriously doubt it. He won't be lucky like the House of Rep candidates who contested under Labour Party.

Where you will get the logic is on March 14, the Gubernatorial elections, they will not come out for Gbadebo Rhodes the Governorship candidate of LP. They only came out enmass because its Obi.

Stopping Politicians from vote buying should not be the concern of the FG. Citizens who collect money to sell their conscience will learn the hard way. The FG should not withhold money to the general public because you want to stop politicians from vote buying. The welfare of the citizen is the number one primary concern of a government.

I want to make a suggestion as regards player valuation.

Obviously a lot of clubs and independent bodies fix the market value of football players but I think its time FIFA take over by handing the power and authority to the various continental bodies like UEFA, CONCACAF, CAF etc. Obviously there are indices with which a player is valued and they can continue or add to such indices. If any club feels their player has more value than what FIFA and its continental bodies fix, they can always appeal, present videos and evidence to back their claim.

I believe this will cub greedy Club owners and Club president that try to milk Premier league clubs.

I understand that once a player signs for a club they become more like their property but FIFA needs to have a lot more right when it comes to such decisions. La-Liga sets release clause on players i believe all football clubs need to set release clauses on their players as well.
