Even the utterances of those leading show how much dem hate us. A big man for Warri get like 4 mopols, now multiply am with hundred bigmen
That is the problem with the Nigerian Police hierarchy after collecting money from the big men and policticians. You deploy thousands of Police Men to Big Men and Top Politicians houses out of just about 150,000 Police Men and Women we have in the entire country which is far below enough in the first place. So how many is left to secure the lives and properties of the ordinary citizens. Why can't these Politician hire Private security firm to provide Body guards for them.

That's the reason why advanced countries deploy Security cameras and develop intelligence everywhere....

The more reason they profile everyone early.
Our leaders are not so sound upstairs. The Police Command in collaboration with various State govt can contract installation of security cameras owned by private companies like they do in Tokyo, London (G4S security company) and other cities to monitor live feeds from the security cameras and report any crime seen.

We have a number of them in Nigeria like Halogen and the rest of them. Let them think outside the box.

Amotekun is really doing a good Job. Kudos to Ametokun Security Corp in the SW but special shout out to that of Osun and Ondo State.

God bless Yorubaland
God bless Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Embassy Demolition: Reps Fault Onyeama, Urge Retaliation Against Ghana - VIDEO by bakynes(m): 8:10am On Jun 24, 2020
I picked an error in his speech. " UK embassy demolished in Scotland their neighbour". I know he meant English embassy in Scotland. Scotland is also part of the UK and all the member countries in the UK do not have embassies in each member countries. They are regarded as different nations in one country.

England,Scotland,Northern Ireland and Wales = UK.

Nigeria needs to suspend all Bi-lateral relationship, suspend trade deals and send the Ghanaian Ambassador to Nigeria back to Ghana.

I was born and bred in Lagos State. 70% percent of my friends are Yorubas and bulk of them are Awori's. To say their nonchalant attitude towards politics is as a result of illiteracy, I beg to differ. The main occupation of Awori's are fishing, hence you'll find them in places like Badagri, Ebutte Meta and Lagos island. They have educated people also but their problem is that they're too docile to confront the non-indigenes that have been ruling them.
Definitely not all of them are not educated, i do know some that are educated just saying majority of them don't really take school seriously. The Ijebus's of Ikorodu,Epe are also into fishing but majority of us go to school( i am an Ijebu man) outsiders dont take up political positions in Epe and Ikorodu.

But when they say Lagos is a "no man's land" some people will be crying and threatening fire and brimstone.
What you guys dont understand is the Omonile (Land owners) of major areas in Lagos, the Aworis are not so much interested in going to school in Lagos but prefer to sell land and collect free money from landlords trying to raise a building, thats why other Yorubas from other states become elected into political positions in Lagos. Yorubas been who they are, do not really care where you are from so far you live and work in that localty. The same can't be said for Igbos, Hausa and other minorities, your name will disqualify you instantly. Lagos is not a No man's land it belongs to the Yoruba nation. The Aworis and Ijebus own 95% of Lagos and these groups are Yoruba people.
CelebritiesRe: Bewaji Folashade Buys A New Car. Her First Major Achievement In 2020 by bakynes(m): 10:04pm On Jun 19, 2020
There is something all the previous posters didnt observe. She said the Venza is her first Car. Lets be honest with ourselves, she was gifted that Car by most likely a man. How can a Yoruba Actress buy a Venza as her first car, did they pay her millions for her first movie role, it doesnt make sense. She ought to have bought something smaller before graduating to a Venza. She was gifted the Car she did not use her money to buy it.
TravelRe: Aviation Agencies Begin Relocation To Abuja by bakynes(m): 3:03pm On Jun 18, 2020
SmartPolician:
Don't even mention the United States. Nigeria's version of federation and theirs are not the same. We claimed to have copied their constitution but bastardized it.

Unlike the US where most activities are decentralized, we run a central government here - something that has made Lagos to become overpopulated. It's time to decongest it.

For the minister to order a relocation, he must have done his feasibility study. You cannot be more Catholic than the Pope. He is an insider, so he knows his onions as far the industry is concerned.

Besides, we live in information age, so I don't see how the move will be an obstacle to the agency's smooth operation. Files and documents can be shared in a split second, people make calls in a flash, etc.

I cannot believe we have ports in Rivers and Delta states, yet the disaster that happens in Apapa is normal to Nigeria's government

Any move geared towards decongesting Lagos is acceptable.
Port decongestion is good, the Eastern ports needs to be revived because 60% of the countries importers are Igbos. But Aviation hub is in Lagos, it makes no economic sense relocating them to Abuja and having an annex in Lagos again, why not leave them in Lagos where they are needed while the leadership of those agencies can report to Abuja whenever they are needed.
TravelRe: Aviation Agencies Begin Relocation To Abuja by bakynes(m): 2:36pm On Jun 18, 2020
SmartPolician:
Huncle, that's why Abuja is the administrative capital of the country

They should even move all of the key federal government agencies and parastatals out of Lagos

God! Nigeria's government has made Lagos very powerful, leading population explosion.
Is Washington D.C not the Capital of USA are all the agencies situated there? If Lagos is the commercial capital of the country, it means most travelers, foreigners will travel into Lagos more. So those Agencies are needed more in Lagos than in Abuja. Lagos needs to be decongested but relocating these Agencies wont decongest it. It will only make their work much more difficult.
TravelRe: Aviation Agencies Begin Relocation To Abuja by bakynes(m): 2:23pm On Jun 18, 2020
Nigerian Govt are just senseless people. Do you need to make every govt agencies situated in the FCT. If Lagos is the avaition hub leave those agencies there. Even Ministry of Petroleum resources/ NNPC should be situated in the niger delta and not Abuja. That is how its done in America. The CIA headquarters is situated in Langley, Virginia.
PoliticsRe: Sanusi: Nigeria Will Go Bankrupt With Current Governance Structure by bakynes(m): 3:05pm On Jun 14, 2020
We should have never moved away from the paliamentary system of Governance we adopted from the British. It is cost effective, where the Prime minister is a member of the parliament, ministers are also members of the parliament (same party as the prime minister who appoints them), Administrators of each state and Council are also members of the parliaments and also serve as the representative of the people from their constituents. Unlike the current system we have 80% of our earnings goes into their pockets and other recurrent expenidtures in each state civil service.
PoliticsRe: How We Spent N80m On Lawmakers’ Wives Dubai Trip — Lagos Speaker, Obasa by bakynes(m): 3:08am On Jun 07, 2020
Wives of the lawmakers going to dubai for a training with an estacode of 4 million naira per person. Are the wives public officials that are going for a training with state money? These guys are big thieves and they all need to pay back that money immediately or EFCC should arrest all of them. Its like these guys have more than enough money allocated to them by LASG that they had to come up with a useless and senseless reason for spending tax payers money.

When a Nigerian is chased to the wall he breaks the wall and keeps running but this is not the case of the black Americans they have instead turned and are fighting back the wicked system
Dont blame Nigerians. Ordinary Peaceful Protest in Nigeria, the police and Army will light up all the protesters. In the Civilized world, they would first use rubber bullets, Canisters, tear gas, beat the protesters etc. Shooting live bullets is always the last option but in Nigeria, the word is shoot at sight. So u cant really compare, Nigerians are angry too.
PoliticsRe: South East Home Of Nigeria Sport-Yemi Osibanjo by bakynes(m): 12:40pm On Jun 01, 2020

PoliticsRe: Akeredolu Appoints 26-year-old Ngozi Ugochi-Igbo Make-up As Aide Causing Uproar by bakynes(m): 11:23am On Jun 01, 2020
My question for all those who are saying some Igbo Governors have appointed a Yoruba Man before as SA. The only Igbo Governor i know that did that is Rochas Okorocha the only Igbo Politician that is detribalised. You guys should start proving it by bringing out names of the Yoruba Man appointed in the East so we can verify.

As far as am concerned every tribe in Nigeria don't seem to like each other . But Yorubas seems to be the least tribalistic ethnic group because of their exposure to different tribes of the country .SW Nigeria is the most metropolitan region in the country.
PoliticsRe: Akeredolu Appoints 26-year-old Ngozi Ugochi-Igbo Make-up As Aide Causing Uproar by bakynes(m): 4:41am On Jun 01, 2020
I would have supported the appointment, if the 26 year old Igbo lady was a resident of the state for at least 10 years or one of the igbos living in the state that worked hard among the Igbo communities in Ondo to bring in Akeredolu as a Governor but a corper who just came to the state less than 1 year and was giving an appointment just because she is the make-up artist of the Governor's Igbo wife is nothing but a slap on the face of the hardworking indigenes of Ondo who worked hard to bring in the Governor.

He should help her find a Job in the private sector and not in Ondo state Public sector.
Foreign AffairsRe: Is Donald Trump Actually Helping America? by bakynes(m): 5:32pm On May 31, 2020
What i observed is that, Trump wants the country to be great again for some section of that country alone (Whites). He is not carrying the minorities along on his journey to make America greater again because i believe they are still the world greatest country. I like the fact he confronts China and also say things the way it is. He has no filters but he has allowed it to get to his head and he is not watching some of his ulterances which is obviously not fit to come out from the mouth of the President of the world greatest democratic country.

We are not killing white people in Africa. Our police are NOT targeting white minorities Get the issue right.
See this face, how is it different from the faces of your relatives or the faces you see on daily basis in Abuja, Lagos, Jos, Enugu, Kano or elsewhere in Nigeria ? No difference. Imagine African police killing white people the way it happens in the US! you would have seen the US taking the lead along with european communities harassing Africa.
Nice reply, we must stand as one people disregarding all of our differences.
Foreign AffairsRe: See What Will Happen When Queen Elizabeth II Dies by bakynes(m): 4:59pm On May 31, 2020
The question i would ask after her passing is, who will become King? Is it her son an old prince Charles or her grand son a young prince William?
CrimeRe: We Kill Black Americans Because They Are God's People Says White Police (video) by bakynes(m): 2:36pm On May 31, 2020
Hmmm! We may truly be God's people but we need to rise from the ashes of slavery and attain Global dominance in all aspect of human endeavour before we can claim our glory and be respected.
Car TalkRe: Urgent!!! How Long Does It Take To Register A Car In Lagos??? by bakynes(m): 3:44pm On May 30, 2020
Nobody was of help to you on this thread maybe they dont know about it but felt they should still speak on it. I bought a Car from the USA in January and i registered my Car in Mushin Local govt, Lagos and it took just two days which is the standard proceedure for just 45k for the number plate, Third party insurance, Vehicle license registration and your Road worthiness.

Just 2 days, walk into a local govt and ask for their Lagos state Licensing office. Most Local Govt in Lagos have them with FIRS and VIO offices .
