All of una they blame wike, here for Lagos in Ago all hotels no open. How can you risk peoples like cause of you want to make money.
He can seal off the hotels, create a law through the State house of assembly that whoever disobeys the lockdown order will get a 2 months jail sentence with an option of 5 million naira fine. The owner will will seat up and not open next time because he would think, how much am i making that if i disobey any state law i will pay 5 million naira or go to 2 months jail. Thats what FIRS and Lagos State internal revenue does if company's and hotels dont pay their tax. By the time the owner pays through his nose and he feels the fininacial impact he will learn not to disobey such next time.

[s][/s] You're talking nonsense Mister man ,why will those hotel open when government place a total lockdown angry Are the owners telling the government that they are above the law? How many hotel are open in Lagos, Don't allow your hate for wike to scatter your reasoning
Lagos will never demolish people's hotels and houses ,So he wants to go about demolishing hotels and people's houses because they are disobeying his lockdown order? When a much more better approach is available. Wike is a tyrant simple as ABC.
PoliticsRe: Covid-19 Return To China,' Yahaya Bello Says COVID-19 Isn't Nigeria's Priority by bakynes(m): 7:20am On May 10, 2020
I have always told my Friends and Neighbours, Corona Virus is not that serious in Nigeria. Many people are asymptomatic and self heal without knowing. The NCDC and Ministry of health should engage Trado- Medicine Practitioners to administer guidelines on how people can boost their immune system to fight the virus itself. Lockdown without testing enough people is a waste of precious productive time, lockdown without food palliative will only make people not travel long distances but will still be moving short distances, so people that are asymptomatic will still go on spreading the virus. The state governors declaring a lockdown are further killing the already fragile economy of the country. How long will the state and FG lock people down. If the West dont find a cure within a year, are we going to remain at home with no food? waiting for the west to find a cure which they will still prioritize for their people before it gets to Africa. I hope post Covid- 19 when another millions of people have lost their jobs and source of livelihood, i hope they would be able to cope with the insecurity then.
PoliticsRe: JUST IN: Two Hotels To Be Demolished In Portharcourt For Flouting Lockdwn Order by bakynes(m):
Does this guy called Wike think we are in a military regime. Why not seal off the Hotels and make them pay a heavy fine later after the lockdown, why demolish what someone worked for most part of their lives?. The FG and Civil society group should look into this Wike of a Governor.

Most of you picking Mourinho over Wenger started watching Football yesterday. What has Mourinho done at Chelsea and Man Utd that Wenger hasnt done better. Ok lets compare.

Wenger - 3 Premier league titles, 7 FA Cups and 7 Community Shield with 1 Unbeaten run out of the 3 Premier league titles. Total - 17 Cup titles.

Mourinho- 3 Premier league titles(Chelsea only), 1 FA Cup(Chelsea only), 4 League Cups (Chelsea and Man Utd) and 2 Community Shield ( Both Chelsea and Man Utd) and 1 Europa league (Man Utd) Total - 11 Cup titles.

4. Pep Guardiola
PoliticsRe: Gov Wike Ask All Traditional Rulers To Ensure Closure Of Market, Hotel Etc by bakynes(m): 7:20pm On May 06, 2020
One thing i noticed in Rivers and Bayelsa is that their political leaders do not respect their Traditional leaders like the rest of the country does. Yes we know the traditional leaders earn from the state coffers but the level of disrespect Wike gives to these traditional leaders is something else. Which makes me to believe most royal stool in Rivers and Bayelsa were created by Politicians meaning they havent been existing prior to independence of this country. Some are even as young as Post Amnesty programme and Post Militant struggle.

Abuja is more of a Civil Servant City, so these ones are the lazy ones who will be expecting salary without working. Am sure the business owners will go out to look for their daily bread.
How long do you want to remain at home, till the west produce a vaccine? Which will mainly serve their people first before extending down to Africa. So you will remain at home till then?

If you are Yoruba, why did you talk about SEast and South South unity and refuse to talk about why you people are afraid of standing alone

Are you jealous of the unity of SE and SS.
Why are you people always afraid of that unity. I don't get it
SE and SS is a natural combination , it's not the fault of either.
You region is sophisticated, have you ever studied about South South In any geography text book?
In any religious book, have you ever come across the word South South?
If you are a captain in the ship or air craft, have you ever seen a compass with the word South South?
So where are you getting your division for the South East from. We are all South East and I am from rivers state
What God has joined together let no man put asunder
Hope you can write the word south south in your examination paper and fool yourself because of hatred
Which Natural combination? And who is jealous? You are a poor student of History. Like you didn't know Edo State and Delta State ( Bendel) were part of the Western region before the creation of mid-west in the first republic? Or do i also need to remind you of the Ijaw leader Isaac Adaka Boro who wanted his people to leave the Eastern region to form the Niger- delta republic because of Igbo domination of the Eastern region.

This people in northern Nigeria will hardly be heard of when professionals as making waves. Yet they collect biggest in allocations, infrastructure and appointments.

Late Gaddafi once said Nigeria should be diveded into 2 (north and south). Eastern Nigeria (south east and south south) are willing to stand together on their own but the south west, maybe the fear of dominatikn by Eastern Nigeria is making them to allign with northern Nigeria using the politics of numbers to remain relevant.

To our yoruba friends, in laws, brothers and colleagues: we are not begging you guys for unity but use your inner brains/minds.
Is like something is hurting your brain. Yorubas afraid of Eastern domination? Are you Ok? You guys have problem with this Unity by force with the South South people.

PoliticsRe: Lockdown: Ongoing Protest In My Area, At Ibeju Lekki by bakynes(m): 11:48am On Apr 27, 2020
For those of you saying the govt should extended the lockdown to increase testing and contact tracing, let me answer you, did the number of test significantly increased during the additional lockdown from 5000 the first two weeks to 10000 plus for the second two weeks? Answer is NO.

A typical scenario is an Antelope that hid in a cave with nothing to eat for days and a Lion waiting patiently to feed on the antelope. Do you know naturally, after the antelope wait a while with no hope of food in the cave, the antelope will risk it and run with the hope he can outrun the lion and get to a safe place to get food, that is exactly how this situation we are battling with is at the moment. Whether you extend lockdown or not, people who need to go out and look for money to buy food will not stay at home because they cannot watch their young ones die of hunger.

The best the government can do is to implement a partial lockdown not a total lockdown. Total lockdown cannot work in poor African countries like Nigeria. Schools,Churches, Mosque,Parties, Clubs, crowded markets like trade fair, Computer village etc can stil remain closed for now. Commercial buses like Danfo in Lagos will either comply with conveying 60% load capacity or remain closed for now. Every citizen must wear a face mask and other preventive measures be in place. Those found wanting should be slammed with 2 Months prison sentence or 100k fine.

This is the best option for poor african countries because it is obvious the govt of Nigeria cannot even provide for 5% of its people.

PoliticsRe: Salary: Does This Picture Represent The True State Of Nigeria? by bakynes(m):
Iwant2know:
Nigerians are too dull , so majority of you don't know Governors earn and make far more than the senators and the reps combine.. Confused people are still arguing . Governor control the state while senators control districts.
The ones saying Senators make more money than governors are very stupid persons. The smallest and Poorest states like Ekiti, Benue and Ebonyi and co receive nothing less than 2-3 billion naira every month. The governor will at least eat 30-40% of that money. Assuming we stick to the 3 billion naira, that is 900 million the governor is pocketing every month. We have not taken into account the IGR from the state, the security votes fund or Salary, benefit and allowances. Now an average senator with the salary and allowances earn 29 million naira per month. Except for the 100 million they are given every year as constituency project fund, budget padding money and money they get from their various commitee. So compare you can see that a Governor earns far more than a Senator.
HealthRe: 117 New Coronavirus Cases Reported. Total 782. 197 Discharged. 25 Deaths by bakynes(m): 2:47am On Apr 22, 2020
Nigerians should open their eyes to know that the states in conjuction with NCDC are inflating figures. Katsina and Kano figures shows that the figures in some states are fake. Just so they can get more money and palliatives. Katsina people got more palliatives in food grains and Cash than Lagos the epic centre of the pandemic. I believe COVID-19 is real but NCDC are purposely including some states and inflating figures. Let us not forget each member of the Presidential task force on Covid-19 receives 500,000 naira per day during the lockdown. I can assure you some top govt officials are using your livelihoods to cash out and some states too are using this opportunity to cash out as well.

Selection problem is not the only problem. Some of the players like Lucas Torreira are been played out of position. The players dont believe in his tactics so they are not confident of it. You can see fear when they play from the back because he keeps telling them thats how he wants to play but the type of players he has cannot play from the back. Also they seem not to understand where and who should be at certain positions hence the lacklustre performance.

Nigeria was colonized by British why not practice their own system that make them one of least corrupt why US or parliamentary republic like south africa system ?
We used to practise that system between 1960-1966 but Ironsi abolished that system after the first coup. But i believe Obasanjo also shares part of the blame when he returned power to civilian rule. He ought to have returned it to the parliamentary system with the 4 regions having representatives and a prime minister and not the Presidential system we still practise till today.
