Praise be to Allah

The depositing of the money in your account may have been a mistake, or it may have been done deliberately. But the idea of it having been done deliberately is very unlikely, because in that case it would be money that the owner did not want, and he gave it to you, so you could keep it. If it was done by mistake – which is what appears to be the case – then it must be returned to its owner. If you are not able to find out who its owner is, then you should give it in charity on his behalf, on the basis that, if one day you find out who its owner was, you will give him the choice between approving of that charity or taking back his money.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

If a person has money or property, and does not know who the owner is – as in the case of one who seized it by force and has repented, or one who acquired it by treachery and has repented, and the like, who has property in his possession of which he is not the owner, but he does not know who the owner is – then he should give it to people who are in need or spend it in the interests of the Muslims.

Al-Fataawa al-Kubra (4/220)

He (may Allah have mercy on him) was also asked about some pilgrims who encountered some Bedouin bandits who had been raiding travellers and had taken their fabric. They fled, leaving behind their camels and the fabric. Is it permissible to take the camels that belonged to the thieves and the fabric that they stole, or not?

He replied:

Praise be to Allah. What they took of the pilgrims’ property must be returned to them, if possible. This is like lost property which should be announced for a year. If its owner comes along and claims it, all well and good, otherwise the finder may spend it (or use it) on condition that he assume liability.

But if the finder despairs of ever finding its owner, then he may give it in charity and spend it in the interests of the Muslims.

The same applies to any property of which the owner is not known, such as property seized by force, borrowed items, items that were left in trust, and items seized from thieves, which belong to people, or items that have been thrown away. All such property may be given in charity or spent in the interests of the Muslims.

IslamWhat If Someone Chooses To Remain Single Both In This World And The Hereafter? by balash(op): 7:50pm On Jun 17, 2016
Praise be to Allah

Firstly:

This question is purely theoretical, as it will not happen on the Day of Resurrection, because the revelation tells us that there will be no single people in Paradise.

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: Abu’l-Qaasim (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “and there will be no one in Paradise who is unmarried.” Narrated by Muslim (2834).

Marriage is one of the delights of the people of Paradise, and the people of Paradise will have no delights except what they themselves desire, not what they dislike or do not want.

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Therein you shall have (all) that your inner-selves desire, and therein you shall have (all) for which you ask for”

[Fussilat 41:31]

“(there will be) therein all that the ones inner-selves could desire, all that the eyes could delight in, and you will abide therein forever”

[az-Zukhruf 43:71].

From this it is clear that as they will all be blessed with marriage, they will inevitably long for it, and that none of the people of Paradise will refuse marriage.

Secondly:

In this world a person may have no desire for a wife, for one of the following reasons – none of which will be applicable in the hereafter:

1.

He has not been given any desire for women, because he has concerns and preoccupations, either religious or worldly, that weaken him and overcome his desire for women, so he is distracted from them. This is something that will not happen in Paradise, because in Paradise there is no worry, fatigue or accountability, as is well known.

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it”

[al-Hijr 15:48].

2.

He is suffering from a psychological or physical problem which leads to him having no desire or inclination towards women. The people of Paradise will not suffer from any sickness or problem; rather they will be given strength for intimacy with women that is greater than that of people in this world.

It was narrated from Zayd ibn Arqam that he said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “A man of the people of Paradise will be given the strength of one hundred men with regard to eating, drinking, desire and intercourse.” Narrated by Ahmad (32/65 and 32/19); classed as saheeh by the commentators on al-Musnad, and by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami‘ as-Sagheer (1/335).

3.

He believes that marriage is a shortcoming and that celibacy is perfection, as in the case of some of those who claim to be Sufis and ascetics. Hence he turns away from marriage and does not want to get married.

This is ignorance and a lack of knowledge, and the people of Paradise are far above that, because in fact having desire for and an inclination towards women, and the strength for intimacy with them, is part of praiseworthy human perfection. Hence the Prophets, who are the elite of mankind, used to get married.

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And indeed We sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)), and made for them wives and offspring”

[ar-Ra‘d 13:38].

Ibn al-Jawzi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

Having a lot of wives and concubines is praiseworthy, not blameworthy. The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) had wives and concubines.

Seeking to get married in order to have children is a kind of worship, and if the aim is to seek pleasure, that is permissible, and may also be a kind of worship, as it is a means of keeping oneself and one’s wife chaste, and so on.

Moosa (peace be upon him) spent ten years of his blessed life to pay the dowry for the daughter of Shu‘ayb; were it not that marriage is one of the best of things, the Prophets would not have spent so much time on it. End quote.

Sayd al-Khaatir (p. 64-65).

Turning away from marriage and refraining from it when one has the ability to get married is something blameworthy that is contrary to Islamic teaching.

It was narrated from Anas ibn Maalik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Three men came to the houses of the wives of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), asking about the worship of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). When they were told about it, it was as if they thought it was too little. They said: Who are we in comparison to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)? He has been forgiven his previous and future sins. One of them said: As for me, I shall pray all night for ever. Another said: I shall fast all my life and never not fast. And the last one said: I shall keep away from women and never get married. The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came to them and said: Are you the people who said such and such? By Allah, I am the one who fears Allah the most among you and am the most pious among you, but I fast and do not fast, I pray and I sleep, and I marry women. Whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not of me.”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari (5063) and Muslim (1401).

Conclusion: this question is based on comparing the life of the people of Paradise to the life of the people of this world, and comparing the perfect desires of the people of Paradise to the desires of the people of this world, which may be affected by shortcomings and ignorance. Hence this is a false analogy, because it is comparing different things; it is comparing the perfect life with imperfect life.

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“The life of this world is nothing but a distraction and play. Verily the life of the Hereafter is the only true life, if only they knew”

[al-‘Ankaboot 29:64].

Shaykh ‘Abd ar-Rahmaan as-Sa ‘di (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

As for the hereafter, it is the abode of “life”, that is, the perfect life, one of the characteristics of which is that people there will be physically strong, because their bodies and strength will be created for life, and everything will be available there that makes life perfect and brings pleasure and joy and fulfilment of physical desires, by way of food, drink, spouses and so on, such as no eye has seen, no ear has heard, nor has it entered the mind of man.

IslamProhibition On Married Couple Forming A Relationship With Someone Else In Islam by balash(op): 11:41am On Jun 17, 2016
What is the ruling concerning married muslim men who cheat on thier wives(physically or non physically) and what is the ruling concerning muslim women who knowingly have an affair with married men just for fun?

Praise be to Allaah.
Firstly:

For a man to form an illicit relationship with a non-mahram woman is not just cheating on his wife, it is also a sin and an act of disobedience towards his Lord. Allaah has forbidden such relationships and has barred the ways that may lead to the greater form of immorality which is zina (unlawful sexual relationships), which is what is referred to in the question.

The forbidden acts which people commit when they have such relationships are many and include being alone with that person (khulwah), shaking hands with them, looking at them, etc. These are sins which are forbidden in the texts in and of themselves, and because of the sin of zina to which they may lead.

Secondly:

For a Muslim woman to form an illicit relationship with a man who is not her mahram – whether he is married or not – is also a major sin and is worse than what is mentioned in the first part of the question, because it results in mixing of lineages and it makes the husband doubt whether his children are really his or not, which leads to a great deal of mischief.

There follow the fatwas of some of the scholars concerning something that is less serious than meetings between the sexes, so what about things that are more serious?

1 – Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen said:

It is not permissible for any person to correspond with a woman who is not his mahram, because of the fitnah (temptation) involved in that.  The person who is sending these letters may think that there is no fitnah involved, but the Shaytaan will keep at him until he tempts the man by means of the woman and vice versa.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) commanded those who hear the Dajjaal to keep away from him, and he said that a man may come to him as a believer, but the Dajjaal will keep at him until he tempts him and leads him astray.

There is a great deal of temptation and danger in correspondence between young men and young women, so they must keep away from it, even  though the questioner may say that there is no love involved.

Fataawa al-Mar’ah al-Muslimah, 2/578

2 – Shaykh ‘Abd-Allaah al-Jibreen said, when he was asked about corresponding with a non-mahram woman:

This action is not permissible, because it will provoke desire between them and will make them want to meet one another. This kind of correspondence often causes fitnah (temptation) and plants the seeds of zina in the heart, which leads to evil actions. So we advise those who are seeking that which is in their own best interests and who wish to protect themselves to avoid writing to or speaking with non-mahrams, etc., so as to protect their religious commitment and their honour, and Allaah is the Source of help.

Fataawa al-Mar’ah al-Muslimah, 2/578, 579

Health15 Cancer Symptoms To Know by balash(op): 11:46pm On May 24, 2016
Changes in Your Skin
A new spot on your skin or one that changes size, shape, or colour could be a sign of skin cancer. Another is a spot that doesn't look the same as all the others on your body. If you have any unusual marks, have your doctor check your skin. She will do an exam and may remove a small piece (called a biopsy) to take a closer look for cancer cells.

Nagging Cough
If you don't smoke, there's very little chance a nagging cough is a sign of cancer. Usually, it's caused by postnasal drip, asthma, acid reflux, or an infection. But if yours doesn't go away or you cough up blood -- especially if you are a smoker -- see your doctor. She may test mucus from your lungs or do a chest X-ray to check for lung cancer.

Breast Changes
Most breast changes are not cancer. It's still important, though, to tell your doctor about them and have her check them out. Let her know about any lumps, nipple changes or discharge, redness or thickening, or pain in your breasts. She'll do an exam and may suggest a mammogram, MRI, or maybe a biopsy.

Bloating
You may have a full, bloated feeling because of your diet or even stress. But if it doesn't get better or you also have fatigue, weight loss, or back pain, have it checked out. Constant bloating in women may be a sign of ovarian cancer. Your doctor can do a pelvic exam to look for the cause.

Problems When You Pee
Many men have urinary issues as they get older, like the need to go more often, leaks, or a weak stream. Usually, these are signs of an enlarged prostate, but they could also mean prostate cancer. See your doctor for an exam and maybe a special blood test called a PSA test.

Swollen Lymph Nodes
You have these small, bean-shaped glands in your neck, armpits, and other places in your body. When they're swollen, it often means you're fighting an infection like a cold or strep throat. Some cancers like lymphoma and leukemia can also cause this kind of swelling. Talk to your doctor to pinpoint the cause.

Blood When You Use the Bathroom
If you see blood in the toilet after you go, it's a good idea to talk to your doctor. Bloody stool is likely to come from swollen, inflamed veins called hemorrhoids, but there's a chance it could be colon cancer. Blood in your pee could be a problem like a urinary tract infection, but it may be kidney or bladder cancer.

Testicle Changes
If you notice a lump or swelling in your testicles, you need to see your doctor right away. A painless lump is the most common sign of testicular cancer. Sometimes though, a man may just have a heavy feeling in his lower belly or scrotum or think his testicles feel larger. Your doctor will do a physical exam of the area and may use an ultrasound scan to see if there is a tumor or another problem.

Trouble Swallowing
The common cold, acid reflux, or even some medicine can make it hard to swallow once in a while. If it doesn’t get better with time or with antacids, see your doctor. Trouble swallowing can also be a sign of cancer in your throat or the pipe between your mouth and stomach, called the esophagus. Your doctor will do an exam and some tests like a barium X-ray, in which you swallow a chalky fluid to show your throat more clearly on the image.

Unusual Vaginal Bleeding
Bleeding that's not part of your usual period can have many causes, like fibroids or even some types of birth control. But tell your doctor if you're bleeding between periods, after sex, or have bloody discharge. She'll want to rule out cancer of the uterus, cervix, or vagina. Be sure to let her know if you are bleeding after menopause. That's not normal and should be checked out right away.

Mouth Issues
From bad breath to canker sores, most changes in your mouth aren't serious. But if you have white or red patches or sores in your mouth that don't heal after a couple of weeks, especially if you smoke, see your doctor. It may be a sign of oral cancer. Other things to look for: a lump in your cheek, trouble moving your jaw, or mouth pain.

Weight Loss
Of course you can slim down when you change the way you eat or exercise. It can also happen if you have other issues, like stress or a thyroid problem. But it’s not normal to lose 10 pounds or more without trying. There's a chance it could be a first sign of cancer of the pancreas, stomach, oesophagus, or lung.

Fever
A fever isn't usually a bad thing. Sometimes it's just a sign that your body is fighting an infection. It can also be a side effect of some medicines. But one that won't go away and doesn't have an obvious cause could be a sign of a blood cancer like leukaemia or lymphoma.

Heartburn or Indigestion
Almost everyone has this burning feeling sometimes, often because of their diet or stress. If lifestyle changes don't work and your indigestion doesn't stop, your doctor may want to do some tests to look for a cause. It could be a sign of stomach cancer.

Fatigue
A lot of things can make you very tired, and most of them aren’t serious. But fatigue is one early sign of some cancers, like leukaemia. Some colon and stomach cancers can cause blood loss that you can't see, which can make you feel very tired. If you're wiped out all the time and rest doesn't help, talk to your doctor.

RomanceKayan Mata: Women’s New Methods Of Hypnotising Men by balash(op): 11:34pm On May 24, 2016
The strong feelings you have for that woman you love so much; the desire to be with her alone, and your willingness to spend lavishly on her may actually not be any natural feelings of affection, but response to some hypnotic portent.

It may sound weird and strange, but it is happening. Nigerian women have resorted to using all sorts of things in a bid to get favour from men. This emerging trend that married and single women have adopted to get and sustain the attraction of men is really gaining grounds due to what they describe as “the randy nature of some men who will never see anything under the skirt and look away.”
Perhaps, you are as naïve as I am, and you are wondering and thinking aloud as to what this reporter is talking about. The fact is, you may be a victim to this hypnotism without realizing it. If you will cast your mind back, at one point or the other, you may have heard of the term, “Kayan mata” (meaning women’s stuff in Hausa). These products, now neatly and properly packaged, many of them imported from countries such as Saudi Arabia, China, Dubai, Indonesia and India, come with lots of promises of making a woman the sole attraction of her man, as well as limitless favours from the man just for her asking. And today, it has gone beyond the traditional “Buzu” women and men walking the streets, hawking the products, or some native doctor or spiritualist in one remote bushy settlement, to being sold in stores in the form of well packaged perfumes, powders, ointments etc, with an open advert or promise of potency of things considered fetish and spiritual.

When our reporters visited a shop where these products and substances are sold in Keffi, Nasarawa State, a woman who identified herself simply as Saadatu, who is in the business said the current economic challenges in the country has not affected sales as women request for these products more and more.

But how do these products work? According to Saadatu, there are a wide range of products ranging from vaginal tightening creams, mostly used by women who after several childbirth, feel they need some tightening of their vaginal walls to keep their husbands begging for more; to various aphrodisiacs, and hypnotic substances that would make a woman woo or attract any man she desires. These products could make the man begging the woman for her attention despite initial disdain for her, plus making such men spend so much on the women.

These products come in form of tablets, lubricants and power forms with instruction on how they should be administered for effective result and to avoid adverse-effects.

Saa’datu also disclosed that there are locally made herbs that are prepared by some traditionalists to serve the same purpose of tithing the woman’s vagina and also improving a man’s sexual drive but they work slowly and over a long period of usage. According to her, “like in the Northern part of Nigeria, we have some herbs and roots that are natural and are used to tithing the woman’s virginal after several childbirth but our women prefer something that will give them result immediately, so these ones that are imported into the country are more expensive and that is what move market for us.”
She said some of the unmarried ladies who patronise her products have given positive testimonies of how men who were stingy at first are now showering them with all kinds of gift in appreciation of what they are enjoying when having sex with them, many confessing they have never had it so good.

For some women, it is to reactivate and sustain the love of their husbands towards them as they say the medicine has reunited them with their spouse by improving their sexual lives.
While, Nigerian Pilot was chatting with the seller, some customers arrived. One of the patrons, a lady who preferred anonymity said she was fed-up with the way men were using and dumping her at will until she was introduced to this by a friend and since then, things have changed for her and she is now married to the love of her life; a man who may never have given her the chance.
“My friend gave me one of the drugs to put in my mouth and I called the person I am married to today. Hearing my voice from the other end, he asked where I was calling from, I told him and immediately he came to pick me to his house and that was how he requested for my hand in marriage and today we are happily married. This is somebody I have been dying for his love for over two years without getting his attention until I decided to apply this medicine,” she said.
She said she had to use the medicine regularly to gain the favour of her husband, adding that she will never leave anything to chance again before some smart ladies take him away from her.
When asked what the efficacy of the drug is when condom is used during intercourse, she said most of the drugs are taken orally with water or milk, therefore, when there is bodily contact between two people, the portent would be effective. On whether the drug had an after effect, she said there has not been any such case since her venturing into the business.

She said for young ladies who want to entice a man they are having a crush on, a local chicken is required to be cooked alongside the portent, which is eaten by the lady in question and she will automatically win the heart of the man. According to her, “when a woman is interested in a man, and the he seems not to notice her, all she need is a local life chicken that will be slaughtered and prepared with the medicine and the woman will eat it alone, while eating, she will be making some incantations with the name of the man and before you know it, the man will come after her and even marry her within the shortest period of time.”

She said this particular medicine is very effective because it has helped a lot of ladies who are of marriageable age but who were unable to find a suitor. Many of such ladies who were eventually introduced to “kayan mata”, have used the products to end the stigma of being unmarried especially in a society that frowns at spinsterhood.
Speaking on the sustainability and durability of a marriage that is conjugated under deception and falsehood, she said the efficacy of the portent will end the moment the woman conceives and delivers a child, as it will no longer work on her body.
“You know, when a woman delivers, there is a kind of blood that gush out from her virginal as the baby is been birthed, at that moment, the love portion would have dissolved from her body.

That is the only thing that can stop the man from loving her, what we usually do is to tell the women to ensure that they come back for another procedure so as to renew the medicine the moment they are about to put to bed before the situation goes out of hand,” she explained.
She also revealed that some of the medicines which come in liquid form are used to wash the vagina while the tablets and capsules are usually inserted into the virginal and allowed to dissolve inside before sexual intercourse and this makes sex enjoyable by both parties such that the man would come begging for more.

According to her, “one of the medicines imported from Indonesia known as “Jamu cap Ibu Tari” is usually taken by women on a weekly basis; any woman who takes this drug will never be tired during intercourse and even the man, as he will have an exceptional arousal the moment he gets closer to her even without seeing her unclothedness, and when they eventually meet in bed, the man will not be tired of having her because he will last much longer than usual. When a married woman is using this drug, her husband may not be able to cheat on her as he will not get arousal even when he is left alone with a naked woman.”

Another product, “Spanish Gold fly sex drops”, is usually inserted into the vagina with a stick that comes along with the drug to tighten the vaginal muscles, making it feel like that of a virgin.

She also said some of the medicines are mixed with waist beads, also known as “jigida” in Hausa, or “ileke idi” in Yoruba, and it is worn by ladies in the guise of fashion to attract men of their choice.
Speaking on the prices of the medicines she said the prices range from two thousand five hundred naira and above while the locally made ones are sold two hundred naira and above.

Although she revealed that men also patronise the products especially for increased libido and sexual performance, the bulk of patrons are women, young and old in search of sugar daddies, boyfriends, or even husbands, and those who want their randy husbands to themselves alone. Interestingly, the patronage of these products has continued to increase, just as the economy gets tougher and with unemployment, many young ladies seek alternative means to make money.

The get rich quick syndrome, according to some respondents who spoke with Nigerian Pilot, is one reason for the increased patronage of these products.
“In Nigeria today, young men and ladies all want to make it big financially with very little stress.

Most of the women who patronise these products are these young ladies who follow all the senators and directors general and all the big men as sugar daddies. You see a man who building or buying houses, exotic cars and other luxuries for these young ladies, taking them on foreign trips for vacation etc; things they wont do for their wives at home and you think it is ordinary- it is not.

They are under the spell of these young ladies,” the respondent said.
Another lady, a staff of the National Assembly, corroborated the story, disclosing how sometime last year, a serving Senator (names withheld) had received a call from a young lady who called him from Lagos.

She had asked him for money, he paid for her flight ticket to come down to Abuja, then wrote a cheque of N5million for his secretary to go and cash, while the said young lady was waiting in his office. The secretary who tried to suggest to him the amount was too much got the scolding of her life, so she went to the bank, which paid the money to her after confirming from the senator. But a few minutes after the lady left with the money, the senator came out asking the secretary of the lady. When he was told she had left, he became frantic, saying she had finished him- the spell had cleared, and he came back to his senses. But since he willingly gave her the money, there was nothing he could do. This is how effective the portents can be. So, the next time you find a lady exceptionally attractive, alluring and sexually active, be careful you are not a victim of “kayan mata.”
But how would one know if he was under such portents or hypnotism? According to our source, “If you want to know whether you are a victim of this new trend, the next time you meet a lady and you try to play with her and she tells you that she wants to use the bathroom, know that something is fishy. Also when you feel unusual when you are with a lady especially while in bed with her, know that you are under an influence beyond the natural. Randy men, beware!
