This is not to discourage anybody o,but the reality of being a pilot in our world today is that jobs are very very hard to come buy. Infact there are more pilots than there are jobs today and the training is even very expensive and tedious. Don't also forget that ur license if acquired is subject to renewal every 2 or 3 years...to cut my story short,my advice to those of u looking to be commercial airline pilots, why not try helicopter pilot training instead, but with a ppl on the side?? It may be expensive tho but it will make u flexible and more readily hired but big organizations like oil companies or big travel and tours company..they pay well too.
Breakdown of this please

Celebrities10 Hollywood Celebrities Who Stink – This List Will Shock You! (with Photos) by balash(op): 1:35am On Apr 01, 2016
Hollywood celebrities who stink: When we see them on the big screen or all glammed up on the red carpet, celebrities seem to be impossibly put together – their hair shines, their teeth sparkle, their skin glows. They seem like the embodiment of gorgeous, healthy individuals. It only makes sense that they would smell incredible as well. After all, they have access to the most expensive products and perfumes, anything their heart desires. They go through make-up and hair and then spritz themselves with their favorite scent before stepping out in front of the cameras, right?
Wrong. So, so wrong. Sure, there are probably countless celebrities who smell as great as they look. Even if they don’t bother with cologne and perfume, they at least make sure that when they show up on set they smell clean and fresh – after all, there’s a good chance they’ll be getting up close and personal with at least one of their co-stars. They want to make the experience as painless as possible for everyone involved. However, there are a few celebrity exceptions. Whether it’s because of environmental reasons, personal beliefs, research for a role or simply because they’re just too darn lazy to shower, there are a few celebrities who are known to smell a little ripe at times. Here are 10 celebrities who allegedly stink.
10. Robert Pattinson
Pattinson is most known for his role of Edward Cullen in the super successful Twilight film franchise, a role that thrust him into the public eye and into the hearts of teenage fans across the world. He’s also known for his particular… aroma. Pattinson has been completely forthright about his hygiene, and even told a tabloid in his native UK that he won’t wash himself or change his clothes until “it gets to the point where even I can’t stand the air around me.” He blamed his crazy schedule, but really, Rob – is it that hard to change a t-shirt or hop in for a quick five minute shower? Apparently, many who are forced to work with him have also had their nostrils assaulted by his offensive odor. It’s surprising that so many fans still lust after him – perhaps they just never get close enough.

9. Cameron Diaz
Cameron Diaz is a bit of a free spirit, and over her many years in Hollywood, she’s become very comfortable in her own skin. She’s definitely not one of those celebrities who needs to wear a full face of make-up for the grocery store. However, she has some habits that are a little bit less admirable. Rather than denying rumors that she doesn’t always smell the freshest, Diaz has shared her philosophy. What exactly is it? Apparently, she’ll wear the same outfit for four days in a row, and then toss it out, never wearing it again. Not only does that seem wasteful, but particularly in hot California weather, clothing can get sweaty and smelly after being worn in the hot sun for a day – let alone four! It also doesn’t help matters that she’s admitted she hasn’t worn deodorant in 20 years.

8. Johnny Depp

Okay – you definitely should never judge a book by its cover, but looking at Johnny Depp, it may not be quite so hard to believe that he’s not always ultra fresh. His sense of style is definitely unique, but it’s not exactly a clean-cut, freshly showered look – it’s a bit more on the bohemian side. Depp is forthright about his habits, saying that he doesn’t really like showering very often. For his iconic role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, his hygiene became even worse as he stopped brushing his teeth for weeks. After all, Jack Sparrow had some pretty gnarly teeth – he was just getting in character. Is Depp just too lazy to shower, or is he constantly getting filthy in preparation for a role? Who knows.

7. Matthew McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey is known for his slightly offbeat habits, from wandering around shirtless to banging out a beat on some bongos. Something that doesn’t factor into his daily routine? Deodorant. Apparently, he hasn’t worn it in 20 years. The reason that he gave to People is a bit strange – he claims that he doesn’t like “to smell like someone or something else.” Well, his co-star Kate Hudson might have preferred him to smell like something a little less ripe during the filming of Fool’s Gold. She apparently got so desperate that she even offered to give him her own. McConaughey kept asserting that his smell was sexy and manly, saying that “women love my natural scent.” She probably agreed to disagree.

6. Russell Crowe

Aussie star Russell Crowe hasn’t been content to merely snag romantic leading man roles in his career, opting instead for meatier roles in films like Gladiator and A Beautiful Mind. His potential female co-stars are probably thankful for that decision, based on what’s been said about his scent. So how do we know he might not be the best smelling guy in Hollywood? Well, the late Joan Rivers always told it like it was, and she definitely told Crowe. According to Rivers, “he has a body odour problem. I prefer to sit downwind of him at showbiz bashes.” When people have to strategically position themselves in relation to you to avoid certain odours, you know it’s a problem.

5. Viggo Mortensen

This example is a little bit different, as Mortensen got down and dirty for a particular role, but nonetheless his odor definitely offended his companions in Middle Earth. Mortensen landed the coveted role of Aragorn in the hugely successful The Lord of the Rings films. He sensed it was an important role that would impact his career and he wanted to do the best he could, so he got into character. How, exactly? Well, during filming, he wouldn’t return to a hotel after a long day of work – he would traipse out to the woods and sleep there. Throughout the ordeal, he never showered – after all, where would Aragorn have found running water on his travels? There’s no definitive statement of how long Viggo maintained this particular practice, but the filming of the entire franchise took years – if he kept up his smelly mountain man routine for even a fraction of the time, it must have been awful for his co-stars.

4.BRAD PITT
Brad Pitt was once the poster child for clean-cut, All-American Hollywood leading man. He was clean shaven with carefully trimmed hair and conservative, classic clothing. When he met his wife Angelina Jolie, his style took a turn for the scruffy, and he favored looser clothes, scraggly facial hair, and more. With such a big family and packed schedule, Pitt apparently doesn’t always find the time to shower – and, as a result, often smells…. well, like pits. Things apparently got so bad on the set of Inglourious Basterds that co-star Eli Roth busted out the baby wipes (which Pitt likely has an endless supply of, considering how many children he has with Jolie) and showed Pitt how to quickly wipe down for a slightly fresher scent.

3.Julia Roberts
With her perfectly styled locks and mega-watt smile, Julia Roberts must smell incredible all the time, right? That’s what one would assume, anyway. However, some insider knowledge indicates that she doesn’t quite smell as nice as the cosmetics products she’s often the face of. According to Roberts’ former security guard, the A-List actress took a concern for the environment to a whole new level. In order to help the earth and conserve water, she apparently went days without showering. It’s admirable to want to help the environment, but come on – a super quick shower is more than enough to get rid of unpleasant odors without putting too much of a negative impact on the environment.

2.Britney Spears
At one point in her career, Britney Spears was one of the sexiest celebrities at any awards show. In her years of struggles, there were a few things that indicated maybe she was letting things slide when it came to hygiene, but it was all speculation. However, a few former staff members have discussed Ms. Spears’ not-so-sexy habits. A housekeeper claimed that she would not only pick up Spears’ clothing from all over the house, she would also sometimes find half-eaten junk food under the bed – not something that inspires confidence in one’s hygiene. A former bodyguard has made similar claims, saying that Spears often didn’t wear deodorant, didn’t shower for days, and didn’t brush her hair or teeth.

1.Orlando Bloom

It’s hard to know exactly what goes on behind the closed doors of celebrity houses. Sure, the public sees snippets of information in tabloids and in brief interviews or press comments the stars make, but we’re never sure. Orlando Bloom and supermodel Miranda Kerr haven’t let the public in on all the down and dirty details of their divorce, but perhaps Bloom’s scent contributed to things. Apparently, Bloom would often wear clothing for weeks without washing it, a habit that Miranda was understandably grossed out by. She also allegedly asked him to improve his showering habits – namely, take more of them. If your supermodel wife begs you to do something, you immediately do it, right? Not in his case.

Romance7 Nollywood Actresses Who Married “tear Rubber” Husbands (with Pictures) by balash(op): 1:06am On Apr 01, 2016
Nollywood actresses who married “Tear Rubber” husbands – There is no doubt that many of our female entertainers in movie and music industry had to settle for fairly used husbands, but it is pertinent to note that many more were able to walk down the aisle with tear rubber husbands.

1. TONTO DIKE

The actress got married to Churchill Oladunni August last year and since then they both have been enjoying their married life. Tonto Dikeh and Churchil just welcomed their first baby last week. So far we can at least say POKO Queen has been able to sustain her marriage with brand new hubby.

2.CHIOMA CHUKWUKA AKPOTHA

This talented actress is another one who has, against all expectations, been able to sustain her marriage to her brand new hubby. The screen diva has not only kept her marriage and private life clean and scandal free, she is happy to keep her family away from public glare.

3. Dakore Egbuson

After dating for four years, Nollywood star, Dakore finally tied the knot with first son of billionaire businessman, Olumide Akande. She got her man, who thousands of ladies dream of brand new, and the couple have been going strong ever since.
4.EGO

2009 was the year talented singer who enjoyed limelight singing alongside the masked one, Lagbaja back in the days married her long-term lover, Niyi Ogbaro. It is no secret that they’ve been together long before they sealed their matrimony in Lagos. She is still together with her brand new husband.

5. OMONI OBOLI

Later this year, multiple award-winning actress, Omoni Oboli and her husband, Nnamdi Oboli, will celebrate 14 years of marriage. This in itself is a dream or a fantasy even for some other actresses. The pair’s love story is almost unbelievable as Omoni revealed that Nnamdi proposed to her after only two weeks of dating. The rest is history as it has turned out to be a match made in heaven. The couple have three sons together.

6. MUMA GEE

It was a royal affair when music star, Muma Gee and her tear rubber prince charming, Nollywood actor, Prince Oluebube Eke exchanged vows in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. The couple reportedly met around 2010 after Muma Gee’s participation in a reality show through Emeka Ike, a friend of Prince Eke.The couple, however, had to wait till this year before they welcomed their first fruit of the womb, which came in double proportion as Muma Gee delivered a healthy pair of twins on Friday, April 18, 2014.

7. OMOTOLA JALADE EKEINDE

On March 23 this year, Omotola and husband, Matthew Ekeinde marked their 18th wedding anniversary. Theirs is a model union, a marriage that rubbishes the argument that celebrities cannot have successful and happy homes. Her early marriage to her pilot husband, who is 10 years older than her made her the envy of her peers-and 18 years on, the sexiest screen goddess, remains just that.

Romance10 Hilarious April Fool’s Day Pranks For Couples by balash(op): 3:44pm On Mar 31, 2016
Hilarious April fool’s day pranks – Laughter IS an aphrodisiac, you know. April 1st is (almost) upon us, and what better target for an April Fool’s Day prank than the one you love? Bring it on pranksters — here are 10 April Fool’s Day pranks for couples so you can get your partner good.

1. “My parents are coming to stay with us for a month!”

2. Creating a crying, screaming scene in front of his friends after accusing him of thinking you’re fat. This is fun for the whole gang! Your guy and his friends get to see what a great sense of humor you have and how you like to include the whole crew on the joke.

3. Get his boss to pretend to fire him.
“Don’t worry, if the boss turns it to permanent, there’s always unemployment everywhere lool

4. Put a picture of one of those age projection simulations on his bathroom mirror in the morning. Make sure to enter extreme lifestyle choices like excessive tanning, drinking, smoking, eating to create a severely haggard and aged image. He should learn to be less vain!

5. Show him a picture of a sickly, disabled animal and announce you’ve adopted it.

6. Leave a bunch of XXXL condoms around for him to find.

7. Tell him you lost your engagement ring. Expecially the very expensive one and see his reaction lol

8. Pretend you crashed either your car or his. ( Come in crying hysterically, carrying a fake steering wheel (from a scrap yard) in your hand. Tell him the important thing is that you’re OK.

9. Change his ring tone to some silly music like downloading 'Skaley Mental' lol and wait till he goes to work and call him, imagine his face when he hears his ring tone infront of his collegue at work lol

10. Lastly when you do all this to a Nigerian man please get a travelling bag and if you don't want a waste of time pack it up already because sweetheart!! You going on vacation lol

Congrats man! seun must be really pleased with your post.

I was a guest from 2010 and I registered 2013.
What really prompted me to registered was during June 2013 ASUU was on strike this made me come to nairaland often. It was my daily source of news about the strike. Also I was bored.

What made me start commenting on nairaland#?

It was june 2014, I logged in but nairaland was down. I was thinking maybe it just a minor issue. The next day, it was same thing huh. I went as far as surfing other sites to know what really happened to nairaland.
It was on Friday when I saw nairaland was back on I was happygrin. I was like who is the owner of this site that made my week bored and a living hell cos I missed reading the news most especially the way people argued here. I can spend 3-5hrs to read a 100 pages in a thread bit by bit.

Because of that incident, I became so addicted on nairaland. I started commenting on nairaland.

Though I don chop ban tire. undecided

Good morning all.

Flash back 10years I can't really place whatsoever it is I was surfing online or how I stumbled on nairaland, I just remembered registering and I rarely post comments or topics but it turned into my most priced ritual to check nairaland everyday.

Those days news where really not fresh and crisp because members don't see nairaland as something that would grow popular than it was.
I could remember the first Miss nairaland contest had folds of supports for mukina2 lol, she was the crush of all guys on nairaland then.

I remember members like jaybaby, lioness, kitaun, ronnieslimz, lewa, acidrop, ikamefa etc.

Those days when you post a comment mentioning Seun, he responds with swift attention not now that he is a big boy and very busy lol

Funny part is that I don't even understand how it feels to be banned, I was never banned all through those period except this year I have been banned twice by Mynd44 because he claimed I insulted a nairalander who actually insulted my father, that I won't joke with.

Then I posted a semi unclad picture of a lady I initially feel like posting as a topic to show how indecent the lady dressed. And Mynd44 banned me for that saying I posted some pornographic whatsoever and I was like, who is this small boy? U no know say am your senior brother here lol.

But in all nairaland has been fun and I never regretted been a member of this glorious forum site. The most popular indigenous forum site in Africa.

But the only thing I need help from is the addiction nairaland possess, like seriously whenever am awake and I can pickup my phone its nairaland, when am less busy at work it's nairaland, when am with someone and am bored it's nairaland, when am in a boring events it's nairaland.

Sometimes I get a call and the caller would be like, I sent you a messege on bbm for the past 20mins and it's important please get your phone and reply, and I will be smiling because I know the phone has been with me but I didn't reply anybody because of nairaland lol.

It's been fun, it's been a bliss, I enjoyed myself, am always on track, whenever any of my Linda ikeji blog friends be like, do u know what happened in kaduna today? Or what happened in jos this morning? I just smiled and I will be like I know everything as early as 6am this morning lol, and that prompted folds of my friends coming to register on nairaland as well. I have never visited Linda I don't understand it and am never a registered member sometimes when I try to get my friends on here instead they be like, you sure you not the owner of this site with the way you praise the site and all lol, I just tell them 'Obe todun owo lopa' English 'soup wey sweet na money kill am' A trial will convince you

Let me stop here, reviews and histories of nairaland journey can occupy the entire pages of Ababio, but in all I am never disappointed been a nairalander and it's never a dull moment.

Thank you Seun Osewa

Am sort of dissapointed in some ladies here with the kinda response am seeing here, for Pete sake this is an all girls school and most of this girls are just attaining puberty stages and they are in an age bracket when they just want to try out new things.

But when a teacher consents into this and go on having sex with a minor it's not an issue of been seduced, he is clearly a pervert because this girls are just trying to practise what they read probably online, if my kid watches 'fast and furious movie' and tries to emulate driving that way and I support him doesn't that make me a mad father? They merely trying to explore and he is giving them his 'pee pee' to use in trying new things and u tell me girls of 18yrs and below seduces him? Are u for real? This girls are in an all female school and they have the right to wear whatsoever they feel like wearing in their school, it's the school authority that needs to appoint sensible teachers

Why would parents and student insist this man is a paedophile / pervert and the school authority still organised students to protest to keep him in the school, his he that powerful that he can't be punished appropriately?

Even senators or more powerful politicians don't get this kind of supports and backings immediately a witness comes out to confirm, who is Mr Olaseni?
