Politics › Re: The Aburi Accord That Would Have Saved Nigeria From All Her Problems…( But Abort by Ballmer: 7:46pm On Aug 30, 2017*. Modified: 7:34am On Aug 31, 2017 |
Aburi accord is a gimmick from the Igbo to avoid the consequence of plotting the first coup in Nigeria. It is a senseless selfish gimmick not to bear consequences of plunging Nigeria tru the civil war. Britain left Nigeria with strong confederating units, each unit control virtually every aspect of governance independent of the federal. The West fundef free education, North had groundnut prymains and the East n SS had cash crop like timber cocoa rubber etc.
Nigeria became the giant of Africa from this path but some Godforsaken Igbo wanted the wealth of the other regions for themselves so they orchestrated the first coup in the country, aolished Confederacy and established Unitary system of govt where resources of the entire federation comes to the Federal before it's share with the owner exceedingly shortchanged but before they could amass any wealth with the devilish plan the northerner strike with a counter coup.
The northern led coupist never reverted back to the old order since they now have the wealth of the nation in their pocket. This was what instigated the first civil war. The Igbo wanted the wealth of the entire nation to themselves but instead they lost the little wealth from their region. The hardish from the lost was why Ojukwu instigated the Biafra war. The war ended with Igbo as vivid losers and they demand the Aburi accord to regain what was lost but we are know losers don't dictate the settlement of a war they just lost. I ask every Igbo historian what does Aburi accord entails that is lacking from a CONFEDERATE system of govt ? Aburi Accord I insist is a gimmick by Igbos eaten their cake but still want it.
They never anticipated the discovery of crude oil. With confederalism the federal govt would never dare to give the SS 13% derivates, instead the oil producing will only pay taxes and royalties to the FG just like Kano was doing for it's groundnut pyramid and Cocoa from the West. This what what the Igbos lost due to impatience, lack of foresight wisdom and most importantly selfishness and this what Biafra is all about today. |

safarigirl: a majority of Nigerian men have low self esteem, I wholly agree with that.
They shroud it under this whole superiority complex garb, but most of them have inferiority complex, hence their various insecurities and their constant need to put down the women.
There is a societal failure as regards the proper training of the Nigerian male and it reflects in their relationships and views of women, same goes with the women to some extent, but that of the men is most glaring Lol... Isn't that women blaming men for their shortcomings ? I doubt anyone can put you down if you know your onions. |

NLandIsHypocrit: The Arewas has done everything within their ability to implant the seed of fear and intimidation in us by trying to remind us about the horrific casualties against our people occasioned by the last genocidal war in the 60s. They also tried to educate us that if only we had 1% practical experiences of the war, we wouldn't have been talking about Biafra restoration again. But one thing they failed to understand is that even in the 60s where there were little or no technical or war equipments and with no International backup in our disposal, our fathers in the face of heavy intimidations stood their ground and held down the the Nigeria government with their International allies for three whole years undefeated. Even my own father went to war at the age of 16 and came back with two bullets in his leg, that bullets remained in his left leg until he died 21 years ago. Today I'm in my mid 30s and someone is trying to threaten me with war that my father had gone at the age of 16 and came back? What could they be thinking? That they've got mercenaries and we've got none? For me, I don't take October 1 for a mere threats, I'm already preparing for any eventuality when ever we are called to defend our Motherland, I won't give them notions. they will surely get more than they ever bargained for. As you can see you will only perish in vain like your father perished. Wars are not won by grandstanding n sounding your large mouth up n down. |

EmekaMD: Blah blah.
Lemme tell me you, Igbos does not and has never hated on the Yorubas. It's the Yorubas has been hating the Igbos (the Awolowo hunger and indigenization policies come to mind). The phone conversation between Govs Shetima of Borno state and kunle of Ogun state (against the Igbos) The comment Madam Kemi (finance minister) made on her Twitter handle about the Igbos being relegated on the financial sector of Nigeria. The Oba Okiolu Lagoon comments. And many more..
I personally would love to see a sincere political collabo between the Igbos and the Yorubas because we do not see them as enemies. We see them as people whom we share common enemies with.
But they keep betraying us. They keep hating us..
They have never deemed it fit to apologise for the many defenceless Igbo children Awo killed with his hunger policy.
They thought it didn't matter to us that Awo conspired with the North and stole from us our monies in Nigerian Banks before the war and giving us only 20 pounds no matter how many millions u had there before..
They thought we shouldn't be agrived that Awo conspired with the North to deny the Igbos of their legitimate right to partake in the Indigenization policy that made Yorubas own many Nigerian industries today..
The truth is that we have legitimate reasons to be angry with the Yorubas but we chose not to be. We forgave them even without any apologies from them. But they haven't loved us back yet..
I love the Yorubas personally but I doubt if I can trust them political an otherwise.. To hell with you n your entire tribe. |

Mature, intelligent and strong husbands do what? Cheat? The dummy is the man who has such a loving wife yet decided to be frolicking around. Can you now see men cheat not because their wives are always bad, but because of greed!
I love Nigerian definition of mature and patient wife. We need more mature and patient husbands...
If that marriage crashed, it would have been his fault, not his wife. It would have been his fault alright but the consequences would have been felt even more by the wife n children. That is the greater reasoning in the affair n yes we do need more matured men n patient husband but you should also strive to reason n act like the house wife instead of acting a slay queen after three children. |
Politics › How Three Hardworking Developers Defrauded Lagos Speaker Of N9.2m by Ballmer(op): 7:15am On Aug 09, 2017 |
THE State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, SCIID, Panti, Yaba, of the Lagos State Police Command has arraigned three men before a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, for allegedly defrauding the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr. Mudashiru Obasa, of N9.188 million. The three men, Frank Nwokobia, 27; Ezeoke Kanayochukwu, 25, and Godwin Essien, 28, were arraigned before Justice Chuka Obiozor, on a five-count charges of conspiracy, impersonation, identity theft and fraud. The defendants, who were arrested at different locations in Delta State, according to the prosecutor, William Ologun, had sometimes in May hacked the Facebook account of the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, and retrieved several information which they used in withdrawing N9.188 million from his account. Arrested in Delta The prosecutor informed the court that the defendants were arrested in Delta State, after the complainant, Obasa, petitioned the Police that his Facebook account had been hacked and that N9.188 million had been withdrawn from his account by unknown individuals The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges, after which their lawyer, Mr. Ali Abba, prayed the court to admit his clients bail in liberal terms. Ruling in the bail application, trial judge, Justice Obiozor, admitted the defendants to N5 million bail with one surety each. The judge ordered that the sureties, who must be recommended by the defendants’ lawyer, must be residents of Lagos State, with landed property and three year tax. The judge also stated that the landed property title documents and tax must be verified by the court’s Deputy Chief Registrar. The court also ordered that the three defendants be remanded at the Ikoyi facility of Nigerian Prison Service, pending the perfection of the bail conditions. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/08/3-men-defrauded-lagos-speaker-n9-2m-using-facebook-account/ |

And what is the Percentage Contribution of the VAT to total national income viz a viz Crude oil ? Most of you igbos are sick in the head. You claim FG should create adversaries to diversify income n benefit to Lagos it as done that Nigeria as about 4 international Airport now but Lagos is still the number one. The same goes for seaport with Onne Calabar n PH yet known is able to rival Lagos soon Igbo madness will drive them to ask FG to close down every industry in Lagos so theirs can grow. He knew he had election to win this year and avoided Nnamdi Kanu like a plague. Fayose, FFK and former road safety boss.showed their sympathy even if it's not from their heart. Those are politicians. As strategic as Anambra is in Igbo land. Obiano kept mute. Under his watch Igbos were killed in Onitsha by Nigerian armed forces. Obiano kept mute and later went to lay wreaths.
Obiano is in the opposition and so being sympathetic to Biafra course will not in anyway harm him. Now his silence is hunting him. Momentum is building and the election will not hold. It scares Obiano to his pants as APC will declare their candidate winner. Then legal battle begins for him.
Ndo Obiano. You should have been man enough to speak up against the killing of your people. Keep snapping picture with Buratai. You will be shocked Doing what you know how to do best.
