Kingdoms conquer kingdoms, the British empire was a powerful kingdom that conquered empires all around the world. The Benin empire conquered tribes all around modern day Nigeria, and if not for the British empire would have continued to do so...the Benin Kingdom was in turn conquered by a superior British empire, it's the way of the world.

Benin had no empire....infact there is no report or eyewitness account that tagged benin as an empire.

....Oba Eweka II was appointed as Chief [Administrator] of the Kingdom by colonial Government in 1902, though he became Oba after demise of his father, the dethroned Oba - simply to respect the tradition.

Oba Eweka II technically was an acting Oba, hence the gibberish that Oba Ovonramwen ruled from Exile is a big joke.

Long story short...there is no king or monarch in Nigeria that has never being dethroned.

What's funny about the question? If you claim someone was terrible, you should be able to list what made them terrible.

Yes, democracy as we have it is not a better system of government and the reasons are everywhere for us to see.

Who assassinated Bola Ige? Was this not during the so-called Democracy?

http://eprints.abuad.edu.ng/15/

Who assassinated Funsho Williams and Harry Marshall?

Military leaders or Democratic rulers?

https://www.hrw.org/reports/2003/nigeria0403/nigeria0403-03.htm

Lol...

Who killed Jume Tahir in China?

Who assassinated Hian in China?

Who killed Turpal-Ali in Russia?

Who brutally assassinated Ruslan Gelayev in Russia?

These are countries you claimed not to practice democracy...so what happened?

Democracy is not responsible for killings going on in this country or any other.

The governor of Kaduna that died in an Helicopter crash together with a prominent figure that was at that time speaking the truth to the public, they were killed when?
Maybe you should tell us who killed him or who brought the helicopter down sitting in his or her room....I guess the Iranian president that died in an helicopter crash must have being saying something the Ayattolah don't like.

Procashtips:

The 2011 subsidy protest that killed a number of defenceless civilians, did this happen under Military rule or the so called democratic rule?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2012/1/10/nigerian-fuel-protests-turn-deadly

Should pull news of people dying during violent protest around the world? And please how many people died during occupied Nigeria protest compare to hundreds of students that we're hanged in broad day light under Gaddafi...your role model?

Procashtips:

Awkuzu massacre that happened few years ago whereby numerous dead bodies were floating in a river in Anambra state was under military rule?

https://dailypost.ng/2022/10/24/peter-obi-opens-up-on-awkuzu-sars-killings/

Isolated killings have been happening all around the world in so called non democratic setting and democratic setting, but still the culprit were arrested. Under military we have had worst happened in cross river and till date nothing was said of it.

Procashtips:

The Lekki killings that alot of youth lost their lives happened under Military?

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/495562-endsars-nigerian-soldiers-police-massacred-peaceful-protesters-at-lekki-tollgate-panel-of-inquiry.html?tztc=1

The massacre in Kaduna (shiites killings) happened under military?
We have been asking for proof of the so called massacre in Lekki toll gate with no concrete evidence...

As for the shittes killing...it was unfortunate and sad...but still during military rule you dare not protest talk more of barracading a military convoy. El Zakyzaky and his entire followers would have being wiped out.

Procashtips:

What exactly happened during the Military including that of Abacha that's not happening now and even worse?

Is it corruption? People now steal and loot with boldness, infact the number of those looting in this democratic dispensation twarts that of the military of any era. Even counselors in Local governments find ways to steal.

Alot that happened during military rule will never happen now....almost all the politicians you see today got their money during military rule...military regime witness the worst looting that has ever happened in the history of this country.

And yes...Y'all won't even get to vote or criticize the government like you do now. I will like to see how any organization go on protest without been tagged rebel and open treason.

Procashtips:

Do you know how many journalists have been locked up or even killed under this democratic dispensation?

https://www.thecable.ng/travails-of-slain-nigerian-journalists-families-searching-for-justice/amp/

https://primeprogressng.com/perspective/nigerian-journalists-martyrs-for-the-truth/

The headline of the reports you posted are even misleading...were this journalist specifically targeted? Or just be at the right place in the wrong time...I am talking about journalist being specifically targeted during military rule and whisked away and disappear for ever.

Orange with Orange not the other way round.

Procashtips:

Do you know how many people have lost their lives to insecurities just few years into the so called democracy?

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/12/101500-nigerians-murdered-since-1999-report/

So tell us, which bloody freedom are you talking about?

Is democracy the cause of insecurity?

How many times do I have to define what democracy means to you? What does fundamental human right has to do with insecurity?

Procashtips:

What exactly are we enjoying that democracy brought? Chaos? Indiscipline? Madness? Total disregard for law and order? Oppression from the rich to the poor?

What exactly?
I think now you need to define democracy for me so I can learn...because all what you listed has nothing to do with democracy.

Procashtips:

From Airports, to seaports, to major bridges and national icons, military govts built the majority, even to roads and schools. (Things still standing today).

What are the benefits an average Nigerian is enjoying in this God forsaking democracy?

Was there anytime during military rule that Nigeria was this bad? Even under IBB which to me is the worst of military rule, life wasn't this bad. Not even inflation or the value of life was this bad.

You def didn't witness Babangida regime...like are you serious undecided did you know that Babangida and the military were the reason we are so bleeped today...infact he made no policy or even attempt to revive the economy after Buhari military disaster. But him and his fellow gangs of thieves Abdulsalam were busy looting the country dry.

Procashtips:

Just as expected.

You're here to argue while shying away from the questions asked.

What question?

You asking me to list 10 things what Abacha did undecided ain't that a funny question?
While couldn't even prove or point to how military govt is better than civilian govt.

Like it's not same Abacha who executed Ken Saro Wiwa for fighting for his peoples right...while cracking down on any form of protest against his govt...def we know how many students were whisked away and ended up dying in jail without trial.

Was it not the same Abacha gagging freedom of speech when you dare not say shit about the govt...while his hypocritical ass was trying to restore and maintain democracy in sierra leone same demo he was gagging at home.

We know how military men brutally raped a lot of sex workers in Jebba..looting shops and taking whatever they want without paying a dime..this was Abacha's regime...dude shared oil wells with his cronies, run a fraud local govt election and end up selecting winners himself.

Abacha dealt with both journalists and student activists...This was the golden regime according to you undecided

Many more atrocities were committed and attracted the worst an action on us that lead to the downturn of many industries in the country.

I answered your questions line by line..so what question are you talking about?

Procashtips:

Which freedom of speech are you enjoying?
Do you know how many people have gone to jail or even forgotten in jail since 1999 just because they aired their opinions?

Oh! Please list those people or still bring articles that backup this claim of people getting jailed just for criticizing the govt 1999.

Procashtips:

You actually believe we have democracy in Nigeria? grin
Yes...and FACT.

Procashtips:

So Gaddafi is now an activist and no longer a dictator? A military activist shey? grin

Gaddafi was never a dictator and never ruled as a military man...but has a man who had is people at heart.

Yes..Gaddafi was an activist go read.

Procashtips:

The Singaporean iron man that led Singapore to prosperity (Lee kuan) was able to do it democratically? grin

Really!
But I didn't see Lee Kaun with an army uniform and guess what? he didn't take the seat by coup..instead democracy was what brought him to power through electoral means which is the backbone and foundation of democray.

Procashtips:

Did you read what he said about democracy?

Yes I did...and he never discarded the idea of democracy, instead he modified it in a way that works.....democracy does not make economical decision for any country...it just a means of electing leaders and guarantee for fundamental human right of the citizens.

List those solid infrastructure so we can debate on it.

Procashtips:

Gaddafi and some other notable names all around the world weren't democracy, but you'd pick them 10x over any democracy in Africa.

Except Gaddafi who is more of an activist and never ruled as a military leader...the rest are criminals and a big fraud.

Procashtips:

If you're asked to list 10 bad things Abacha did, you'll struggle.
You are joking right?

Procashtips:

Then compare whichever ones you're able to list to what we've faced in the so-called democratic dispensation. Bro democracy which we practice right now is a ruse.

I don't care about your blacklisting of the present regime...but your precious military heads are still the ones in Agbada constituting the biggest fraud and looting in Nigeria's history.

PS: Democracy is the free speech you are enjoying today insulting politicians online and offline without getting locked up or disappearing like during the IBB regime. Those who lived during military regime knows what's up.
