It is a blatant lie jare...

Good morning fellow Nairaladers!

This issue i am bringing to your doorstep this morning is that of the continuous robbery of some police officers in Ijebu-ode.

I call it robbery because i am very sure most of us knows the meaning because the last time i checked, road block is illegal according to the IG of Police.

This police officers stays in front of a filling station(fentop filling station) located at Oke-owa road with their AK47. I think the major reason they are there is for the security of that filling station over night which i am sure they are paid for by the owner of the filling station, but they have been using that as a yardstick to extort motorists, motorcyclists and tricyclists.

Every morning before 6:00am you will find them stopping any mobile object and it is a must each stopped vehicle pays #50. The annoying thing is that they don't listen to people's plea of delaying them when they don't have money being very early in the morning when those that are using those vehicles for business have not collected anything from their passengers,yet they will delay the driver and the passengers not minding the urgency attached to leaving home for work as early as that in ijebu-ode where a bank staffer can even leave his house 5 minutes before official opening time.

There are these Chinese people that passes through that route on their way to their office with police escort, once those police robbers smells that they are coming they will pretend to be passing vehicles so as to reduce the hold-up they caused.

One funny thing about this people is that they put on cardigans to cover their names because they know the implications tied to exposing their name. They have turned this robbery to daily job and they think the people of Ijebu-ode are daft that they cannot do anything, some of them are even at other busy roads very early in the morning doing the same robbery.

Top officers in the police can see this, and the power of Nairaland can even make the IG of police to see this, lalasticlala, seun, farano, Ishilove... You can help the people of Ijebu-ode to make these people to be brought to book because what they are doing is illegal and they are embarrassing police profession which some people are working really hard to change people's bad conception of it, those ones involved in the act in ijebu-ode are pure disgrace to the profession and must be used as scape goat.

Internet and social messaging applications have made conversation much more easier this days.

To know what someone else is up to you will not be mistaken if you go through their private conversations.

But when we talk about relationship, is it advisable to be checking through your partner's chats?

Personally, i think intruding into one partner's private chat is a great mistake that anyone shouldn't venture into.
Yes, it is known that you are married that you need not hide anything from each other.

We know you are courting and you must learn to trust each other even when people outside are screaming that your partner isn't faithful, since you've never caught him/her unfaithful red-handed.

Yet, it shouldn't be your priority to intrude into your spouse's private chats.

So many secrets are unraveled in private chats, which you as a partner is not aware of and of which you might not find it pleasant if you find out.

At times, your spouse might want to share some other information with you but might skip their mind, you might see something of such in the private chat if you intrude and it might not go well with you.

If you wish to keep your marriage or relationship, it is very important you stay off your partner's private conversations.

If in case it happens you see some chats by mistake you must be ready to listen to explanation(s) because things might not be the way you have seen it in the chat.

Some people play some games through private chats which if their partner sees might change the future of the union negatively.

I have seen a man who wanted to prove to his girlfriend that he is also most wanted by some other ladies. To prove his point, he had to arrange with a lady who is close to him to act like one of the ladies out there who is dying to have the same man the girlfriend of the man his misbehaving with.

All the arrangements was done through phone call, but the romantic conversations were through one of the social applications. With that, the arrangement cannot be seen on the messenger where all other romantic conversation holds.

Hell was let loose the day the partner of the lady saw the romantic conversations, it took God's intervention before the man was convinced of the arrangement.

At times, it is not everything you will be told by your partner till something related to it happens, but if you get to know it at the inappropriate time it might be so detrimental to your relationship.

The social messengers contain secrets that may kill you if you intrude, especially when you can't hold your patience.

Never lose your trust in your partner until you have 100% evidence to do so.

As far as am concerned, school get levels, it depends on what you can afford. Government is free for all(crowdy + teaching + flogging), semi private school (limited pupil/student per class+ teaching +flogging) and private(extremely limited pupil/students + serious education - a stick of broom let alone cane)... Your resources determines what you want. So, if she doesn't want her son to be flogged the third category will cater for that strictly at the command of her resources. The 2nd category is worst because the difference between it and the government school is just that they will be restricted to official language and the population will be lesser which will allow for over monitoring(they will beat education out of her child and beat her join if she try that category).
