THURSDAY 002 FREE BRAIN TRAINING PUZZLE

Three neighbours gave $ 4.00 each and bought a ham (without skin, fat, and bones). One of them divided it into three parts asserting that the weights were equal. The second neighbour declared that she trusted only the balance of the shop at the comer. There, it appeared that the parts, supposed to be equal, corresponded to the monetary values of $ 3-00, $ 4-00 and $ 5-00, respectively. The third partner decided to weigh the ham on her home balance, which gave a still different result. This led to a quarrel, because the first woman kept insisting on the equality of her division, the second one recognized only the balance of the shop, and the third only her own balance. In what way is it possible to settle this dispute and to divide these pieces (without cutting them anew) in such a way that each woman would have to admit that she had got at least $ 4-00 worth of ham if computed according to the balance which she trusted?

As we have entered into 2017, be wary of mere positive thinking and castle building! It will take you no where. Wisdom must be invested in activity else it produces no results. Action is the tinder that will ignite your success and your success is cumulative. The more you act in accordance with your wisdom, the more positive results you obtain. And the positive results you obtain now attracts even more positive results to you. Keep this in mind with regards to action:
1. DO WHAT YOU CAN. You just have to start from where you are to act and take steps that will move your life towards the goals you want to achieve. Dont wait for the 'perfect time to act. The perfect time might never come. ACT NOW!

2. DO THE BEST YOU CAN. There is always room for growth and improvement. Ensure you hone your skills as you go along. It is wrong for you to remain stagnant. Every branch that does not bear fruit must be pruned! ( that was the stance of the master teacher as well). Do not be a branch that bears no fruit. Rather, you must bear fruit and continue to multiply your fruits. THERE IS A BETTER WAY OF DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING RIGHT NOW. SEEK THAT BETTER WAY.[/b]Consult with the best in your field. Continue to take courses, buy books and audio tapes, video tapes, etc that will help you improve and most importantly, apply what you learn immediately. The importance of personal development cannot be over emphasized.

He wanted to find his Martian friend Doman, but in order to locate him he had to know what group Doman belonged to. The three groups in the area were: Uti, Yomi, and Grundi. The Uti always told the truth. The Yomi always lied. The Grundi sometimes told the truth but sometimes lied. Perez needed information. Three Martians, Aken, Bal and Cwos, each of whom belonged to a different group, agreed to help him. He asked each one of them two questions: What group do you belong to? What group does Doman belong to?

1. Aken said:

I am not a Uti.

Doman is a Yomi.


2. Bal said:

I am not a Yomi.

Doman is a Grundi.


3. Cwos said:

I am not a Grundi.

Doman is a Uti.

What group does Doman belong to?

For Those That Their Instuition's IT Period Starts Around April/May, How Do They Go About It?

When you are called from their HR unit, tell them when you are available to start. No guarantees though since there are many people on the queue. But the fact like I said before is that they will be calling people from the pool of successful candidates as the need arises.

please when most likely is the SIWES training commence, because IT starts for me from march!!

Go for the exams first. If you are successful, they will call you and ask you to come to the office on a particular date.

The thing is that they will take the first set and as need arises, they will take more. This is the reason why they will call some people later part of January or February and call some others as late as April! Also be informed that this test includes those that will be at the head office in Port Harcourt as well as the plant complex in bonny island.

The crowd is always much so you should eat before coming or come along with a token so that you can buy refreshment. The tests are normally done in batches so you might leave there as late as 5~6pm
