unistudent1: Does anyone such as @justwise or anybody else have any into at all about the Abuja Teleperformance? I really need to know how many days it takes to collect your visa if you apply there. Please reply if you know any info about those who have submitted in Abuja since September 15. Thanks.

You can give it a try and lets see if they are going to treat the application in abuja

princess211: Dear all, been following this thread the past 3 weeks, justwise, koded1999,kingsilly, and many more.I wish id known abt u sooner, would have been saved so much headache. Its a journey i hope would end this week.
First of all applied at teleperformance, was told my docs were incomplete because had no tb certificate. Had to request a refund and reapply, still at teleperformance. Was refused 6 aug after 15 working daysg cos i used my dads corporate account. Had to move cash into my personal account and count 28 days. Finally submitted docs at ikeja on the 10th sep. I am urgently awaiting approval email as school resumes 21st. Booked a ticket for 20th night.
Hanging on in there seriously

you will receive your approval email by wednesday grin

Ok thanks. I just checked my CAS and accommodation is not provided by the school. Can I still say that I intend getting one from the school?

Dont know about that but you can ask people in this forum because on my own CAS it was written there that school will give me accommodation meanwhile i already had a plan of getting an apartment outside the school so i just used that school accommodation thing to save myself stress at the POE

kemkem30:

@justwise @bambamzzz @tobee thank you all
my husband is not available to apply with us, because he has a post doc in another country. Now, my plan is to get a consent letter, explaining why he cant apply with us and stating when he would apply. even at that he cant stay in the uk for 3 years. he has a job in naija. i plan to show documents and visas to prove all that. finally i plan to show child-care application forms already filled. is there any other thing i can do/add?

I copied the below from bambamzz's link. i hope i can hide under this. hmm i cant leave my kids behind o

":The only exceptions to the requirement that both parents must be coming to the UK are when the other parent is dead, or you have had sole responsibility for the child's upbringing, or there are other serious or compelling considerations that mean the child should be with you in the UK and you have made suitable arrangements for the child's care. If you are relying on any of these exceptions, it is important your child includes evidence of this with their application. This could include, for example, death certificates or divorce certificates.":

@ kemkem30 best of luck

I once read that the two parents must be present in the uk, or be applying together with the kids before kids will be issued the visa. I really can't remember where though. That's why my husband applied with us. He actually has a valid visa but because of that clause, he had to apply again. If I find it, I will post the link.

here is the link below and its under your child or children ( 3 )

I pretty much doubt that, only if there was no arrangement made for the kids...things like child care, nanny etc
Open the link i pasted and go to child ( 3 )

@ justwise i have been searching for where that was found but still cant get it but will post it here as soon as i find it, and if you can remember that there was a lady on this trend that also said her kids visa was refused and hers was granted and the reason the ECO gave her was because her spouse did not apply with them.

yes, my initial plan was to pay school fees and get a new CAS while ensuring my balance covers my maintenance hence the reason for taking it to N9.8m. so, i am indeed glad and hopeful that the exchange rate remains as low as it is.
Thanks for your response

@ kemkem30 if you are applying with yur kids then your spouse need to apply with you or else they will just grant only your visa and refused the kids please take note of this nformation

TeamclicksAir: if your program is over a year then you can book one-way, however if anything less then you need a return. you might be able to cancel and get your funds back or extend for a fee.
Royal maroc is no different and its worse for tall people.

My school start date is sep 15th and end date is oct 20 2015

If Nigeria immigration Authorities finds out you have money on you, they will try as much as possible to extort you.

You can pay your school fees with your card, that is not a problem

@ spikesC , justwise, please is it okay to hold just 1000 pounds cash to uk and leave the rest money on my card? please respond because pounds is on 260 something and i want to use my card to pay for the remaining school fees, and is it okay to tell the immigration that you have most of your money on your card pls reply if all these is acceptable.thanks

Bros flying Iberia is like flying Molue oo, forget its a Spanish airline. My brother had a horrible experience with them just in May this year, I'll suggest you take Air Maroc since its very cheap so you wouldn't be too disappointed with average service.
