Amdan:
@justwise, spikesC and others,

Pls help me confirm the following checklist for my wife and child dependant visa application:

1. Wife
marriage certificate
Wedding pics
Tb certificate
Two passport photo
Intl passport
Completed online application form
Confirmation of appointment

2. Child
Intl passport
Two passport photo
Tb certificate
Naming ceremony pics
Completed online application form
Confirmation if appointment

3. For both
One bank statement stamped, signed and dated showing established presence funds for both of them for 28days.
Oanda printout for the day I submitted the applications.
Oanda conversion of the held amount

You will need to send them your tenancy agreement as a prove to show that you have an apartment to accommodate them and make sure the maintenance money is for 9 month then you are good to go

one thing that is still unclear to me is: having satisfied all requirements including the statement of accounts...will the UK embassy contact the bank asking for the amount in the bank account or just confirm the flow of transactions and to confirm the authenticity of the account statement?

The bank will not disclose account balance to anybody apart from the account owner and the only thing embassy always ask the bank is that if the account statement is real but my advise for you is to leave the money there until a decision has been made on your application.Best of luck

@Justwise and other gurus in the house. I just applied for a Taught postgraduate course. I am a business man, graduated 2012, sponsoring myself and 23years old. I have a registered COY incorporated in 2012 with a CAC certificate and tax Clarance certificate showing the commencement date of trade as July 2014. I have a savings account that covers both my maintenance fee and also Tuition fee with extra sum. I have few questions to ask:
1. Do I need to provide proof of source of funds?
2. Do I need to submit all the above listed company documents?
3. I have a property that gives me about 1.3million Naira annually. Should I submit the agreements I had with my tenants as proof?
4. I have an inherited landed properties, should I add them too?

Do I need this document when applying for a visa?

thanks

You don't need to include your company document, property document and source of income, all you need to do is to put the document stated on your CAS and make sure the total money needed stays in your account for 28 days then you can print the statement for 28 days and submit

Please is urgent.

I am in a small dilemma right now.

I apply to TP Abuja and my visa has been ready for collection since Friday 10th.

But here is my dilemma, i pay for courier service (which happen to be my mistake i made) for my package to be sent to me at in Warri, thinking i will fly from Lagos.

Now the firm sponsoring me said i will fly via abuja, hence i contact TP thru their complaint page that i would now like to pick my visa personally.

But since then; i have not receive a response from them neither i have received the package via courier; and the sponsor is requesting that i come to their office in abuja tomoro (wednesday) by 10:30am to submit my passport for flight booking - becos i have already told them that my visa is ready for collection on friday 10th.

My request:
Is it advisable to just go to TP centre office tomoro morning (as i am scare they may just send to my address in warri)?
Or does anyone have number TP contact number for me to reach?

whats your status showing on TP site?

Exactly! You wound't be spending much time outside home and uni everyday, even when you are outside you will be on the move rather than seating out using the wifi.

YES,thats why i said the 1gig is good for me and i was charged 19pounds and i will be paying 42pounds every month

Lemme see

Now I'm confused..

@ kingsilly i think the offer is good if you make alot uk calls because i did lyca 100mins for uk calls and i finished everything within 10 days so i did my calculation about your offer and that will give me onthly bill of 20pounds for unlimited calls and text with 1gb on phone so i have ordered one too and it will be delivered to my place tomorrow and i think i think the 1gig is going to be enough for me in a month because i have unlimited broadband at home and i can use school wifi when am in school so the 1gig is just for the road

henry0: Please has anybody here used Red star express?
Thats the courier service TP Abuja uses to dispatch people's documents.

I want to know when my package would get to me since I got an approval mail yesterday morning.

I've booked my flight for 9th oct (next week Thursday), just hope to get my passport back before then.

Please who knows how many days it takes Red star express to deliver a parcel??

You need to be patient because your passport will surely take 2 days to get to tele from embassy which will be tomorrow and its public holiday so wait till thursday and i guess by then the red star will have your passport with them

KazNaija: Gentlemen,
I now sign off. I got a review and now have the visa. On my way out today but can't go without thanking everyone on this forum. Justwise and SpikesC, I can't leave without mentioning you guys. I can't help this nagging feeling that you guys are angels or work in the High Commission or some high cause like that. Thanks a million. Most thanks of course to the Most High as everything and more comes from HIM.

@ KazNaija you said earlier that you got your passport 3 days ago and you were refused? so did you apply for a review immediately? so you administrative review took 2 days? am kinda confused
