BruncleZuma:But truely the facts are there, if he said emefiele said no money, he did not mean zero naira but the truth be told did you see how much was been shared during election, billions of dollars, I know of an uncle that collected about 500 million for electioneering (he has been in and out of court since then) , see how much dezaini is worth, see ikoyi dollars, see ex nnpc MD dollars in Kaduna, come to Abuja and come and see how many exotic houses owned by Alex badeh, amosun chief of air staff returned over a billion naira(plea bargain), ekiti own is there, non remittance of billions of dollars from nnpc to Cbn,no tsa, directors enjoying all the government millions unspent at the end of year in its coffers, poor remittance of funds from customs to Cbn,so much impunity, and we only depend on oil, why recession no go visit us. |
BruncleZuma:Yeah the damage had already been done, guess he was judging a book by its cover, he once said in an interview that immediately he was elected he wanted to hit the ground running, unfortunately he said when he summoned emefiele that where is all the money Nigeria has been saving under Jonathan, to his utmost surprise emefiele told him there was no money except debt (all the dollars/naira had been shared for electioneering I guess) and since he is a man of integrity unlike others he told emefiele (even when he knew the opposition appointed him) to remain the CBN governor and make necessary amends since he knows he would never connive with emefiele to steal Nigeria money unlike Jonathan, sambo dasuki, diezanni ,obanikoro and most ministers who stole masses money through CBN . |
BruncleZuma:Reading my write-up over and over again, I can't see where I wrote that crude all was sold for 100$ per barrel for 16 years. You said for 4 month to 2 years, y wia they not able to turn around the fortunes of Nigeria, and you expect Buhari to do it in 3 years, take it or leave it we would have still been worse off if Jonathan had gotten a second term according to economist. I as a person ,I feel Buhari is trying his best, but if you feel he is not doing enough, let's pray God makes the best candidate win in 2019 |
Lagos APC is a goal. |
Joshmodest:Witch hunt how?pdp ruled from 1999 at the federal level till 2015.if Buhari is to pick anyone for corruption would the person be an apc member (before the pdp decampees) that has not been in power at federal level since 1999, even the PDP members that have decamped to apc have some not been convicted nyame/dariye by the judiciary. Most cases of corruption are still in court, and most looted fund/asset have only been temporarily forfeited to federal government till final outcome of the cases. |
CROWNWEALTH019:1)which politician is stealing your money and going to use same to invest in real estate/house in Dubai, UK etc at present without the long arm of the law catching up on him? 2)if the said billions they stole had been channeled for roads, electricity, health, educations etc, would we be where we are as a country. 3)they would buy private jets one for themselves and another for children, did they ever even think of starting a national airline that could be of benefit to common masses. 4)100$ plus per barrel for crude oil, with all the money made, where is the money they saved? (free for all dollar embesslement) and you expect the economy not to go into recession abi? U must be a joker. 5)there are lots of infrastructural developments going on in this present administration, you can google to get more first hand information. 6)need I expect more from birds of a feather with kola aluko, cos I guess where he is now, he would also be telling people he was better off when the nation was corruption ridden than now that all loopholes has been blocked. |

New Minimum Wage: Why Governors, Not Buhari Are Workers’ Problem – Ukauwa Ahead of the 2019 general election, a former governorship aspirant and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abia state, Ambassador Chidike Ukauwa has told civil servants in the country to vote out governors who are not paying salaries. He berated the governors for deliberately foisting hardship on civil servants over their alleged failure to pay salaries, despite huge funds being released to them by the federal government. Ukauwa who spoke in a chat with us on Saturday exonerated President Muhammadu Buhari in the ongoing industrial strike embarked upon by workers over non-implementation of the new minimum wage. The APC chieftain, particularly tackled Governor Okezie Ikpeazu-led government in Abia state, over his alleged failure to clear backlogs of salaries arrears owed workers in the state, adding that the government had failed in all facets of governance of the state. He said, “I think Nigeria as a country has grown far above this kind of situation we are presently in now. The industrial strike is a setback to the country. Sometimes, it baffles me when civil servants embark on strike action when the country has all it takes to take care of the welfare of workers”. “Today in my state(Abia), the governor does not pay salaries to the state civil servants. It is bad for Abians and Nigerians to be witnessing such an action. The problem is not Mr. President himself. I believe that President Buhari is doing everything possible to make sure Nigeria moves forward. “We should be questioning the governors in this country, why they cannot pay salaries, despite tranches of funds that were released to them by the federal government. Let me tell you, the governors are the problems we have in Nigeria today. They are stashing away our public funds. “I want to use this opportunity to call on workers in the country to ensure that those governors who are not performing, who are not paying them salary are not returned in 2019. They should be voted out” |

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on Nigerians to be mindful of a fake membership registration website trending on the social media. In a statement on Sunday by its acting National Publicity Secretary, Mr Yekini Nabena, the APC alleged that the website was sponsored by a group of individuals to divert its supporters ahead of the forthcoming elections. It said, “We are alerting our supporters, members and indeed, the general public to a purported membership registration website of the All Progressives Congress (APC) — apcregistration.com. The website which is trending on social media is unauthorised and a scam.” “Our internal investigation has revealed that the fake website is sponsored by one of the main opposition political parties in its desperate and criminal plot to harvest APC members ahead of the 2019 general elections,” the APC added. The ruling party said it deliberately did not name the political party in question and called on relevant security agencies to urgently investigate the website and its sponsors. It also called on its supporters and members to take advantage of the ongoing continuous nationwide membership registration exercise in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The APC explained that the exercise would include both fresh registration and revalidation of existing membership for the purposes of issuance of the permanent membership cards. |
SolutionMee:Nonsense talk!turn Nigeria to Japan in 2 years, guess in your wildest dreams abi!is the word antecedent not in your own dictionary? Have you been to kwara state before?what meaningful development did his dad and himself bring to kwara all the years they have presided over kwarans!can't you see lots of infrastructural developments going on in states like Lagos ,ogun ,ebonyi ,rivers etc can you compare kwara to them yet you talk of japan, how many times have you seen his boy the kwara state governor in the news launching any viable project for kwarans in his past 8years, Please let's not be sentimental and place Nigeria in the hands of some few greedy component that think about only themselves and not the masses. |
Teewhy2:Bros please understand this We have 3 arms of government executive ,legislative and judiciary How do you expect buhari to interfere in the internal affairs of the legislative when he is championing a change mantra? Did you see the legislative choosing his ministers for him ?No Don't get it wrong he was not trying to punish tinubu, you don't seem to know the kind of person buhari is,he stands for integrity and would never do otherwise, this national Assembly members especially the PDP are rogues,All they understand is Ghana must go exchanging hands, and the buhari I know would not indulge in that or condiscend so low as to beg them for votes cos as you know saraki already had the npdp/rapc house members from the onset,so for any neutral apc candidate buhari supports would have needed the support of sarakis (npdp turn rapc) and the pdp to win. |
selectedhero:Please tell me where in Nigeria they would kidnap a senator and he would be released in less than a day? He claimed they shot at his car and kidnapped him!he needs to tell us about how he was able to escaped And more over was there any demand for ransome ?I guess he would claim he escaped through God's intervention. It is only on days when he is suppose to be in court in kogi we would start hearing he jumped out of a car or claims of being kidnapped, What happened to the convoy and security operatives he took to kogi when he wanted to commission project last week?he decided to leave them in Abuja and go alone with one car to kogi to attend this court case abi? You must be a joker for trying to cover up for this guy We are waiting for the next date ,should he cook up any story in other not to appear at court, then we would know he is only buying time like the likes of metuh and other PDP thieves. |
chiedu7:Where you in ekiti for the election? Or you are you the inec chairman Just wondering how you came to the conclusion that the PDP won the election Did their party agents complain ? No Was there any case of snatching of ballot papers? No The election was free and fair election And fayemi has been declared the winner. |
Beehshorp:Hope you have noticed the amount of likes and share you have as compared to the likes and share of those in support of buhari and the apc government. |
Please house,I am interested in knowing if members of the national Assembly are required by law to have their nysc certificate/exemption certificate before they are being screened to be members? Cos I am sure most of them especially those who schooled abroad might also be found wanting. |
Bimpe29:Pls Who is holding him? |

kay5you:And how is his comment unprofessional? Can you give what you do not have?he tried is very best and was unlucky to score an own goal, should he kill himself because of that?truely if the guy feels etebo played nonsense and he knew he could play better and make Nigeria proud , why did he not train and try to be selected by the Nigerian coach, one thing I hate about Nigerians is running their mouth in the comfort of their homes.practical is different from theory abeg.thats how oliseh would run his mouth as an analyst, they made him an head coach in a foreign club ,what was the outcome? |
Not Allowing children follow their passion. |
We have heard, the wailing senators(all wailing because they know all their life in public service they have always been corrupt ) ,you should now start amending our constitution to accommodate buhari for a 3rd term in office as president of the federal republic of Nigeria. In this past 3years ,if it is only the issue of corruption (stealing of poor masses money baba is able to put an end to ,he deserves an accolade,by his second term in office our economy should be better off with the policies he is putting on ground and by his third term our institutions would be working near perfection. Corruption is the bane of any society,if we do not kill corruption ,corruption would kill us. |
NASS to Buhari: We pray you’ll continue to tolerate us as your `children President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday got a loyalty and commitment pledge from an unlikely source: the National Assembly. Besides the pledge, Senators and members of the House of Representatives prayed that God might bless Buhari with additional tolerance for him to continue to tolerate them as his `children’. Deputy Senate leader, Alhaji Bala ibn Na’Allah, representing Senate President Bukola Saraki made the pledge when representatives of residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) paid Sallah homage to the President at the Presidential Villa. Na’Allah said the National Assembly would keep supporting the vision of the Buhari administration for a greater Nigeria and claimed that no administration since 1999 has received more cooperation from the legislature like President Buhari. He said: “Mr. President, I have the authority of each and every member of the Senate and the House of representatives to wish you a blessed Eid-el-Fitr in 2018 which we are celebrating today. |
clefstone:It won't scatter,God is not in support of corruption, they would steal poor masses money and still treat them like sh*t.leadership is a trust, for you to want to lead, you should also be willing to be held accountable for your actions.everybody should be involved in the fight against corruption. |
I am hopeful She would continue the good work at the code of conduct tribunal, all those that falsify their asset declaration are in for trouble. |
