He lied blindly in that interview, I don't even know where to start.
But truely the facts are there, if he said emefiele said no money, he did not mean zero naira but the truth be told did you see how much was been shared during election, billions of dollars, I know of an uncle that collected about 500 million for electioneering (he has been in and out of court since then) , see how much dezaini is worth, see ikoyi dollars, see ex nnpc MD dollars in Kaduna, come to Abuja and come and see how many exotic houses owned by Alex badeh, amosun chief of air staff returned over a billion naira(plea bargain), ekiti own is there, non remittance of billions of dollars from nnpc to Cbn,no tsa, directors enjoying all the government millions unspent at the end of year in its coffers, poor remittance of funds from customs to Cbn,so much impunity, and we only depend on oil, why recession no go visit us.

Buhari promised got in and found out he wasn't cut out for it...as you said may the best man win.
Yeah the damage had already been done, guess he was judging a book by its cover, he once said in an interview that immediately he was elected he wanted to hit the ground running, unfortunately he said when he summoned emefiele that where is all the money Nigeria has been saving under Jonathan, to his utmost surprise emefiele told him there was no money except debt (all the dollars/naira had been shared for electioneering I guess) and since he is a man of integrity unlike others he told emefiele (even when he knew the opposition appointed him) to remain the CBN governor and make necessary amends since he knows he would never connive with emefiele to steal Nigeria money unlike Jonathan, sambo dasuki, diezanni ,obanikoro and most ministers who stole masses money through CBN .

Stop mixing half-truths with rhetorics my good Op, Oil (Bonny Light) was never 100$ for 16 years, it was for just 4 months spread to two years.

Please look amongst the current ruling party for those who have embezzled and give proper convictions.

Una media trials don do us; the reason you guys are in power was to "miraculously" do everything you promised, we are not asking you to start a "díck measuring" competition with PDP.
Reading my write-up over and over again, I can't see where I wrote that crude all was sold for 100$ per barrel for 16 years.
You said for 4 month to 2 years, y wia they not able to turn around the fortunes of Nigeria, and you expect Buhari to do it in 3 years, take it or leave it we would have still been worse off if Jonathan had gotten a second term according to economist.
I as a person ,I feel Buhari is trying his best, but if you feel he is not doing enough, let's pray God makes the best candidate win in 2019

Brother since when Sai Baba has been fighting and recovering "stolen loot", how much has entered ur hand or the economy at large, if he is collecting and recovering billions and nobody is seeing the , traces of improvement in the economy , it becomes a clear case of thieves collecting from fellow thieves , for thier own benefits, as far as I'm concerned PDP , can and has handled this country better than APC, I don't see fighting corruption , which has been more of witch hunting opposition's as an achievement for buhari led administration...
Witch hunt how?pdp ruled from 1999 at the federal level till 2015.if Buhari is to pick anyone for corruption would the person be an apc member (before the pdp decampees) that has not been in power at federal level since 1999, even the PDP members that have decamped to apc have some not been convicted nyame/dariye by the judiciary.
Most cases of corruption are still in court, and most looted fund/asset have only been temporarily forfeited to federal government till final outcome of the cases.

Instead of reminding us how corrupt PDP was, why not tell us what APC had done??

This corruption stories popping up now won't work and its becoming annoying.

We were better off when corruption was thriving than now that the killer of corruption entered
1)which politician is stealing your money and going to use same to invest in real estate/house in Dubai, UK etc at present without the long arm of the law catching up on him?
2)if the said billions they stole had been channeled for roads, electricity, health, educations etc, would we be where we are as a country.
3)they would buy private jets one for themselves and another for children, did they ever even think of starting a national airline that could be of benefit to common masses.
4)100$ plus per barrel for crude oil, with all the money made, where is the money they saved? (free for all dollar embesslement) and you expect the economy not to go into recession abi? U must be a joker.
5)there are lots of infrastructural developments going on in this present administration, you can google to get more first hand information.
6)need I expect more from birds of a feather with kola aluko, cos I guess where he is now, he would also be telling people he was better off when the nation was corruption ridden than now that all loopholes has been blocked.

Naomi Campbell's Ex, Kola Aluko Loses Lots Of Weight and Now Lives In Mexico after stealing billions.

Bitter Side Of Reality… Former Billionaire, Kola Aluko, Covers Body With A Plethora Of Ludicrous Tattoos.*Now Lives In Mexico

Less than two years ago, uber-wealthy oil and gas magnate, Kola Aluko, was the cock of the walk, the guy every prosperous guy wanted to be like; who once dazed Hollywood royalties and billionaires by splurging £1.5million on champagnes at Oscar winner, Leonardo Di Caprio’s 39th birthday; famously dated international model, Naomi Campbell, and was known to live la vida loca like a Brunei Sheikh.

His home in the sedate, upper crust area of Ticino, southern Switzerland, used to draw gawks and drools. He had many of such across the world. In 2013, the billionaire businessman who loves race cars reportedly bought the limited edition Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio speedster said to be worth a whooping £2million.

He wasn’t arrogant but whenever he got tired of riding around in his array of Ferraris and other vintage cars, Kola would hop on his 200-foot yacht – nicknamed Galactica Star, and enjoy the cool breeze and slow pace of life on the oceans. So beautiful is the Galactica Star that anytime vacation beckoned, Hip Hop royalties, Jay Z and Beyonce, favour the luxury yacht originally purchased for more than $80 million. Kola was a made man and he lived like one. But all these seem like eons ago.

Now a virtual fugitive, Kola has been running from the long arms of the law over allegations of money laundering perpetrated when Diezani Allison-Madueke held sway as Nigeria’s Minister of Petroleum Resources. The US Department of Justice declared him and equally wealthy businessman, Jide Omokore, as persons of interest in a civil complaint filed at a District Court in Houston Texas against Madueke detailing how they laundered millions of dollars which were used to buy properties in the U.S. and the UK on her behalf.

The US District Court Southern District of Texas, Houston Division, on July 14, 2017, ordered the seizure of Aluko’s assets worth $144 million. All his Ferrari and vintage cars have been seized. There are no traces either of his expensive wrist watches. Kola no longer commands the awe and attention of the past years. Gone also is the throng of hangers on and hero-worshippers around him. Neither does he roll in the circle of the rich and famous as was the case a few years ago.

In fact, as the days roll by, the chickens may finally be coming home to roost as pictures of him exclusively obtained by The Capital show a gaunt and pale Kola. Hitherto chubby and bubbly, now sunken are his rosy cheeks while his visage has gone from merry to morose. Not just that, Kola is now heavily tattooed as pictures show. And many are wondering why he suddenly started having tattoos when he is just a year shy of 50. He lives a low life in Mexico and adjusting to life without the exaggerated obsequiousness and panoplies of power. So long!

PoliticsNew Minimum Wage: Why Governors, Not Buhari Are Workers’ Problem by bamoproperty(op): 2:53pm On Sep 30, 2018
New Minimum Wage: Why Governors, Not Buhari Are Workers’ Problem – Ukauwa

Ahead of the 2019 general election, a former governorship aspirant and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abia state, Ambassador Chidike Ukauwa has told civil servants in the country to vote out governors who are not paying salaries.

He berated the governors for deliberately foisting hardship on civil servants over their alleged failure to pay salaries, despite huge funds being released to them by the federal government.

Ukauwa who spoke in a chat with us on Saturday exonerated President Muhammadu Buhari in the ongoing industrial strike embarked upon by workers over non-implementation of the new minimum wage.

The APC chieftain, particularly tackled Governor Okezie Ikpeazu-led government in Abia state, over his alleged failure to clear backlogs of salaries arrears owed workers in the state, adding that the government had failed in all facets of governance of the state.

He said, “I think Nigeria as a country has grown far above this kind of situation we are presently in now. The industrial strike is a setback to the country. Sometimes, it baffles me when civil servants embark on strike action when the country has all it takes to take care of the welfare of workers”.

“Today in my state(Abia), the governor does not pay salaries to the state civil servants. It is bad for Abians and Nigerians to be witnessing such an action. The problem is not Mr. President himself. I believe that President Buhari is doing everything possible to make sure Nigeria moves forward.

“We should be questioning the governors in this country, why they cannot pay salaries, despite tranches of funds that were released to them by the federal government. Let me tell you, the governors are the problems we have in Nigeria today. They are stashing away our public funds.

“I want to use this opportunity to call on workers in the country to ensure that those governors who are not performing, who are not paying them salary are not returned in 2019. They should be voted out”

PoliticsBeware Of Fake Apc Registration Website ,party Tells Nigerians by bamoproperty(op): 8:42am On Aug 27, 2018
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on Nigerians to be mindful of a fake membership registration website trending on the social media.

In a statement on Sunday by its acting National Publicity Secretary, Mr Yekini Nabena, the APC alleged that the website was sponsored by a group of individuals to divert its supporters ahead of the forthcoming elections.

It said, “We are alerting our supporters, members and indeed, the general public to a purported membership registration website of the All Progressives Congress (APC) — apcregistration.com. The website which is trending on social media is unauthorised and a scam.”

“Our internal investigation has revealed that the fake website is sponsored by one of the main opposition political parties in its desperate and criminal plot to harvest APC members ahead of the 2019 general elections,” the APC added.

The ruling party said it deliberately did not name the political party in question and called on relevant security agencies to urgently investigate the website and its sponsors.

It also called on its supporters and members to take advantage of the ongoing continuous nationwide membership registration exercise in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The APC explained that the exercise would include both fresh registration and revalidation of existing membership for the purposes of issuance of the permanent membership cards.

Truth be told, Buhari with all his "I don't care" body language and not well calculated political moves has made saraki more popular and powerful, to control or tame saraki now is not going to be easy for Buhari.
I believe Buhari was warned about saraki been Senate president but to punish Tinubu he decided that they should play the politics the way they want, I was expecting Buhari to be smarter to intervene in the crisis then and find a way to pick someone who is neutral and less ambitious apart from the two candidates fighting for the SP position.
Bros please understand this
We have 3 arms of government executive ,legislative and judiciary
How do you expect buhari to interfere in the internal affairs of the legislative when he is championing a change mantra?
Did you see the legislative choosing his ministers for him ?No
Don't get it wrong he was not trying to punish tinubu, you don't seem to know the kind of person buhari is,he stands for integrity and would never do otherwise, this national Assembly members especially the PDP are rogues,All they understand is Ghana must go exchanging hands, and the buhari I know would not indulge in that or condiscend so low as to beg them for votes cos as you know saraki already had the npdp/rapc house members from the onset,so for any neutral apc candidate buhari supports would have needed the support of sarakis (npdp turn rapc) and the pdp to win.

what would he have been afraid of, is it a court he has been attending of late? or was he not in Lokoja last week to commission projects. then suddenly he would 'walk into the bush', how low you guy can go in this your BMC job is really amazing.
Please tell me where in Nigeria they would kidnap a senator and he would be released in less than a day?
He claimed they shot at his car and kidnapped him!he needs to tell us about how he was able to escaped
And more over was there any demand for ransome ?I guess he would claim he escaped through God's intervention.
It is only on days when he is suppose to be in court in kogi we would start hearing he jumped out of a car or claims of being kidnapped,
What happened to the convoy and security operatives he took to kogi when he wanted to commission project last week?he decided to leave them in Abuja and go alone with one car to kogi to attend this court case abi?
You must be a joker for trying to cover up for this guy
We are waiting for the next date ,should he cook up any story in other not to appear at court, then we would know he is only buying time like the likes of metuh and other PDP thieves.

NASS to Buhari: We pray you’ll continue to tolerate us as your `children

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday got a loyalty and commitment pledge from an unlikely source: the National Assembly.

Besides the pledge, Senators and members of the House of Representatives prayed that God might bless Buhari with additional tolerance for him to continue to tolerate them as his `children’.

Deputy Senate leader, Alhaji Bala ibn Na’Allah, representing Senate President Bukola Saraki made the pledge when representatives of residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) paid Sallah homage to the President at the Presidential Villa.

Na’Allah said the National Assembly would keep supporting the vision of the Buhari administration for a greater Nigeria and claimed that no administration since 1999 has received more cooperation from the legislature like President Buhari.

He said: “Mr. President, I have the authority of each and every member of the Senate and the House of representatives to wish you a blessed Eid-el-Fitr in 2018 which we are celebrating today.

Naija NewsNews
Naija News in News On June 13, 2018

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Justice Adebukola Banjoko as Chairman of Court of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) The Independent reports.

Naija News recalls that Justice Banjoko recently sentenced two ex-governors including a serving Senator to 14 years jail term respectively.

Banjoko is a fearless and unwavering judge, the tough female judge successfully convicted and sent Jolly Nyame, former governor of Taraba, and Joshua Dariye, former governor of Plateau state to jail.

Nyame was sentenced to 14 years in prison without an option of fine, on May 3; and on Tuesday, June 12, Justice Banjoko delivered another landmark judgement, when she sentenced Joshua Dariye, a former governor of Plateau state, to 14 years in prison.

More details soon

PoliticsMeet Justice Adebukola Banjoko, Tough Female Judge That Jailed Nyame & Dariye by bamoproperty(op): 8:36pm On Jun 12, 2018
This is Justice Adebukola Banjoko of the Federal Capital Territory High Court who found former governor of Taraba State, Reverend Jolly Nyame guilty for criminal breach of trust on 23rd May 2018.

She was so appalled at Nyame’s brazen theft of public money that she bellowed: “There’s no moral justification for the level of outright theft, and the Court must therefore, impose a statement, hopefully as a deterrent to other public officers, who may be similarly inclined”
Justice Banjoko stated that Nyame, a clergyman, as governor of Taraba, breached the trust reposed in him by the indigenes of the state, when he misappropriated N250 million which he approved purportedly for the purchase of stationery for the state.

In a ruling which lasted more than 4 hours, Justice Banjoko found Nyame guilty of 16 counts, bordering on criminal breach of public trust.

The angry judge sentenced him to a total of 28 years in prison, 14 years of which was for criminal breach of trust.

4 years ago, Justice Adebukola Banjoko of the Federal High Court, Gudu, Abuja, while presiding over the alleged $620,000 bribery suit brought against a member of the House of Representatives, Farouk Lawan, withdrew from the case .

The judge ordered that the suit be returned to the Chief Judge of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Ibrahim Bukar.

Mr. Lawan, a former Chairman of the House Ad-hoc Committee on Fule Subsidy Regime, and the Secretary of the Committee, Boniface Emenalo, are being prosecuted by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission, for receiving the bribe from a businessman, Femi Otedola.

The suit commenced on February 2013 when Messrs. Lawan and Emenalo, were arraigned on a seven-count charge.

Justice Mudashiru Oniyangi had presided over the suit until his elevation to the Court of Appeal, the reason it was assigned to Mrs. Banjoko.

The lawmaker, through his counsel, Mike Ozekhome, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, had on October 29, 2013 filed an application demanding the withdrawal of Mrs. Banjoko, but withdrew it.

Besides, Mr. Lawan personally petitioned the FCT Chief Judge, alleging that the judge may likely be bias because of her close relationship with Mr. Otedola, who is the accuser and a witness in the case.

Despite the withdrawal of the application by Mr. Lawan, the judge still quit, saying that though Mr. Bukar had cleared her of the allegation against her by the lawmaker, Mrs. Banjoko said it was a “scandalous challenge” on her integrity.

She said, “In my 17 years on the bench, six years and as a magistrate and 11 years as a judge, I have never been confronted with a scandalous challenge of my integrity.”
Meanwhile on Tuesday, Mr. Ozekhome, who withdrew the application he filed on behalf of his client, pleaded with the judge that day to ignore the wrong impression it might have created.

The prosecuting counsel, Adegboyega Awomolo, SAN, who also apologised on behalf of Mr. Lawan, asked Mrs. Banjoko, to continue to handle the case, but the judge declined.

While denying that she was not in any way close to Mr. Otedola, the judge insisted she would stay away from the case because “justice is rooted in confidence.” She also stated that the lawmaker had already exhibited lack of confidence in her.

According to her, “In the prevailing circumstances, I do find it difficult to continue this case. This case is returned to the honourable Chief Judge for re-assignment.”
