I do not know about you,or read any article by you before,but your write up deserves an award.

We forget easily how it all started. A lot of the commentators on National Discuss,deliberately try to forget ,or maybe were too young to remember Tinubu's role in the Democracy we enjoy today.

From his days in NADECO,which lead him going into exile,to his days as a Governor. Tinubu have always pushed for the interest of the common man.

The PDP boasted that they will be in Power for 50 Years,and one drunk Minister said for a Thousand Years.

Obasanjo was brutal,and he over ran the
West with the PDP,and while the other Governors ran into hiding. It was only Tinubu that stood up to him,and that started the gradual demise of the PDP and their monopoly over the Nigeria political environment.

Is Tinubu perfect?no. But does he believe that the right people should be put in the right places to work? Absolutely yes. So far,Lagos is still the model State in Nigeria since 1999 and we owe Tinubu that.

The likes of Dino Maleye,who was an undergraduate at the ABU,and sleeping in his Father's living room,when Tinubu was in the trenches,fighting for what he(Dino) is enjoying today,will be the first to say he will beat Tinubu and his wife up,then even molest and get her pregnant.

Sad. Very sad how quickly we forget.

But history will be kind to Tinubu. Same Tinubu that picked a Pastor to be the Vice-president,even if he is Muslim.

I met Tinubu for the first time some 8 Years ago at a function ,and his down to earth charisma,and very sharp mind drew me to him.

The Politicians ganging up against him will fail. They will fail for the simple reason that they lack what it takes,like Tinubu to bring people together for a good cause.

I am not a Politician. I have not benefitted from any Politician in my life, I am not even Yoruba. But I am proud to call myself Tinubu's Boy.
