Card Readers Only Recorded 292,000 Accredited Voters In Rivers State, But Nyeson Wike Won By 1,029 million votes...source Sahara Reporters
it is very possible. How did you arrive at the figures in the first place. Did you check each card reader and sum up the values there? Some places don't use card readers due to technical problems while other places have their card reader replaced during the process of accreditation. It is the electronic register that can actually give d accurate value of accredited persons not the card readers. There's no case there.

obasanjo is one man that has given his all to this nation. He is well respected statesman in Nigeria and abroad. But I think the biggest mistake he made in his life was giving nigerians the CLUELESS one as a president. And today his godson has successfully became the number1 corrupt leader that ever ruled this nation.

Gej, it will never be well with you, prosperity will surely catch up with you and by God's grace, prison will be abode after may29. Amen

Politics150 Supervisors Threaten Boycott Of Polls In Nasarawa by bandol(op): 6:36am On Feb 18, 2015
N16,500 is too small in the first instance for 6days (out of place of residence) training not to talk of short changing them again. Why won't they be enticed by the politicians
The 150 staff engaged by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Nasarawa State to serve as supervisors during the forthcoming general elections have threatened to boycott the exercise alleging that they were short-changed.
Some of the supervisors, who spoke with Daily Trust yesterday alleged that INEC approved the sum of N16,500 per supervisor, but they were paid N12,000 instead.

“INEC approved N16,500 per supervisor, but what they paid us was N12,000 only,” one of the supervisors who craved anonymity said.
He said they spent three days in Lafia, for the training, from where they proceeded to the local government areas to train Presiding Officers (POs) for three days.
When contacted, spokesman of INEC in the state, Ibrahim Abdullahi, said he contacted the training officer, who denied that the commission was supposed to pay the supervisors the sum of N16,500 each. He, however, declined to state how much each person was supposed to receive, saying officers at the operations, and accounts departments who could reveal such information were not around.
He also declined to comment on threats by the supervisors to boycott the elections

PoliticsRevealed: Shift Of Election Was A Lifeline For INEC by bandol(op): 7:48am On Feb 09, 2015
I knew INEC wasn't adequately prepared for the elections. Its staff are complaining here and there of loads of failed promises. Ad-hock staff training was something else.
Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which was ill-prepared to conduct the elections this month.
A Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) assigned to one of the northern states, who spoke to THISDAY on the condition of anonymity, said the advice by the security chiefs and the National Security Adviser (NSA) to defer the elections because of the security situation in the North-east gave INEC the much needed breather to prepare adequately for the polls.

He said contrary to reports that 21 of the RECs had opposed the postponement of the polls during their meeting at the weekend with the INEC chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, that was not the case, as all they did was to give him situational reports on each of the 36 states of the federation and Abuja.

The INEC REC further revealed that the training and simulation exercises for INEC officials and thousands of ad hoc staff on how to use the card readers for the permanent voters’ cards during the polls had not been conducted.
“The training manual is not ready while simulations for the card readers have not been conducted. Our personnel and ad hoc staff do not know how to use the card readers, and some that have been tested were not working.
“Apart from this, over 23 million registered voters had not picked up their cards; that is about 34 per cent of registered voters. So were we going to disenfranchise them under the pretext that not all of them would vote?
“It is not INEC’s responsibility to dwell on voter apathy. Ours is to ensure that all cards get to the voters. Whether they turn out to vote or not is their prerogative, not that of INEC,” he said.

The REC said Jega had not been entirely honest when he made his presentation to the Council of State last week on the preparedness of the electoral commission for the polls.
“We were far from being ready and had we proceeded with our state of unpreparedness in February, we would have faced greater challenges than what we encountered during the 2011 general election when we were forced to postpone the elections by two weeks.
“So the insecurity in the North-east has offered INEC a lifeline to get its act together and sort out most, if not all, pending issues before the polls start on March 28,” he said.

As regards media, you can decide not to on your TV set, radios or switch it off if you are not interested in the advert. You may decide not to buy news papers. Sending unwaranted messages to one is like imposing it on the subscribers. I was dazed when I typed *556# few days ago and I saw a political advert. I think banning it is a welcomed development

Adminisher:
Edo is definitely Buhari. Oshiomole is there and the entire northern Edo is Muslim, some people have not traveled Nigeria and they will be posting thrash. To give Ekiti to Jonathan because of Fayose is very childish, you need to talk to a Yoruba man from the area. Jonathan actually admitted that he withheld federal presence from the state because of being insulted. Imo is the only bone of contention but I am sure APC wins narrowly.
APC is already dead in Ekiti if you don't know. Religion and ethnicity would give Jonathan massive votes in S/E and S/S. Which Igbo man would vote for Buhari? They believed he's the source of their calamities in the north. Let's wait and see. As for the S/W, Buhari can't win in Lagos(40%) Igbo dwellers), Ekiti, Ondo and Oyo.
