Let the music play on. This whopping amount could have prevented many of the road mishaps along Enugu - Onitsha dilapidated road or the East-West road or even Otueke road or even 2nd niger bridge. Please, after the regge, play the blues too
Dear Nigeria is too complex. Let's just enjoy it while we live. 9ja daily fuel consumption is estimated to be 40 million. If You multiply that by the the #59 added on fuel, that's #2.36 billion. So Buhary saves #2.36 billion daily. Where is the money? What has this govt done yet?. So saving life is not yet a government priority, but lies, propaganda and embeZzlement.

I wonder why the Federal Government is disturbing this lady but choose to associate with corrupt individuals like Tinubu, Fashola, IBB, Abacha's family, Abdusalami, Atiku, Amechi etc.

A woman who's been a Minister up to 3 times and has also held a lot of positions in both Private and Public oil sector nationally and internationally is not expected to be poor.

Exaggerating the worth of her properties and jewellery won't help either.

By the way when is the Federal Government going to probe the numerous criminals in APC?
Nicely said. To be realistic, that woman has honestly earned up to #7 billion naira. One billion as a Shell Staff and 6 billion as a three time minister. With investment She will be worth #14 billion at the least.

To think it is the same people who were buying petrol at N86 under her watch.... but are now buying the same petrol at N145... And they are abusing her... Its very sad.

Honestly, I don't blame people who refuse to help others with their money, connection or experience .... The same hapless dude... When he becomes comfortable after eating too much or lose his job due to negilence will come back and start insulting you.
True analysis. So GEJ unde Dieziani was spending (145 - 86) * 40,000,000 per day on Fuel. This is #2.36 billion per day. Invariably PMB is saving #2.36billion per day on fuel. What has PMB done with that money, I guess it's use 4 propaganda and fighting GEJ. Inflation everyday. Banks sacking, total sacking contract staff and 3rd party staff.

Diezani was a billionaire before she became petroleum minister. She was a director at shell....

People like that are used to living in opulence. If you buy N100,000 bottle of wine, but to people like Diezani, N100,000 is like N1,000.

I'm not defending her if she stole... But as an ex shell director, I don't expect her to be living in GRA or wear N10,000 neck lace.

Those quoting me apparently don't know Diezani ' s background or Diezani ' s family before she got married?

She was born with silver spoon to the family of Chief Frederick Abiye and Mrs Beatrice Oyete Agama in the garden city of Port Harcourt and grew up in the Shell Camp where she schooled....

The young Miss Agama studied Architecture in England and then at the renowned Howard University in the United States where she graduated. She later obtained an MBA from Cambridge University. She worked at Shell, following in her father’s footsteps, and rose to become its first female Director.

Diezani was never middle class....

Did she become shell director in a day? She rose through the ranks... That's not less than 15 years service ...

If someone works for shell for 15 years and is still middle class, the person is very stuupid.

I know many teachers who have personal enterprises on the side... Army folks run private security firms... I'm sure Diezani, in addition to working at Shell had her own oil servicing firm(s)

To cap it, her husband retired as Rear Admiral...

And you expect her to be middle class or remain in same house she lived ten years ago.

The fact that someone lives in a rented flat as secondary school teacher doesn't mean he should remain in that flat as lecturer or VC

She's not as rich as Dangote but she's not as "poor " as a civil servant either
Nicely said. If any of those ranting should work a year as Director in Shell with a Monthly take home of #10 million, They will understand what U are saying.
Politics › Re: Attacks: We Won’t Leave Nigeria, Say Oil Firms by banio: 2:11pm On Jun 12, 2016
They have huge investment in Nigeria so they can't leave. Aside that this turbulence won't last more than September. Most importantly, the only thing they can lose is personnel which are Nigerians that are under-paid. The Management staff are no field workers, they are in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt enjoying A/C and sexy Secretaries.

The truth is that the nation and oil multinationals have ignored the Niger Deltans for too long. The least staff in a multinational earns a 7 digit salary. How many Millionaires can we count from Niger Delta that worked or once worked in a multinational. Aside employment, what social responsibilities can multinational boost of even the government can't pin point any development in the Delta.
Oil Multinationals should do the right things.
Govt should do the right thing.
I hate Niger Delta Avengers ideology, We need peace

Nigerians don't give a fvvk about Zebra Crossing. I stopped behind a car at a Zebra crossing. The next thing a car bombed into me from behind. The driver started shouting, that I marched automatic break. The damage on his car was massive, at least he would spend #50K to fix it. People around came and insulted the guy, I was too shocked. I just entered my car and drove away. My car did not have much dent.

Oil Multinationals also are part of this problem. They are unethical in their approach to issues, they have no standard in dealing with people and communities. Chevron, Shell, Agip, Exxon Mobil etc. There Nigerian Management is the worst, I wish the management team of all multinationals could be foreigners, then policies and programmes will be adhered to
Politics › Re: Niger-Delta Avengers: Osinbajo Meets governors, Service Chiefs by banio: 7:41pm On Jun 07, 2016
First of all oil Multinationals must employ Niger Deltans. They have trained us for too long without employment. After training us they will employ outsiders.
Second all oil blocks must return to the government, no individual should own an oil block. Thirdly, Multinationals MUST provide power for their host communities.
Fourthly Nigeria must practice true federalism.

Politics › Re: Buhari’s Plans For Niger Delta, Militants — Osinbajo by banio: 1:17pm On Jun 07, 2016
Oil multinationals like Shell, total, Agip etc should employ Niger Delta youths. All these companies do is to train Niger Delta youths with billions of naira, and employ Yorubas and Hausas. The irony about these trainings is that the billions spent on these trainings could have paid those trainees for at least 5 years as full time employees.
When these oil multinationals don't have ethical standards, then they breed Militants out of their host communities.

90% of the attack is on Chevron. I think the phone calls of top Chevron managers should be monitored. Let's start from inside. Some top managers could have plans of frustrating the company so that the company decides to sell these oil fields. And these top managers will buy the oil fields.
Politics › Re: Niger Delta Avengers Bomb Chevron Oil Well Amidst Heavy Security (Photo) by banio: 2:01pm On Jun 01, 2016
Niger Delta Avengers are only blowing up Chevron oil wells. I think Chevron has wronged these guys. I can't really say how, but most likely on ethical behaviour. Maybe Chevron is not using the same standard in dealing with her customers, contractors and employees. Chevron should do the right thing. Chevron should have a set of rules when dealing with human beings.
