Oil multinationals must give Niger Delta a minimum of 30% representative in managerial cadre. Then from level 18 downwards we need a minimum of 50% as work force. International Oil Companies are just using Niger Deltans as slaves. Yes, a slave is anybody that can't say a word about his salary because if he does, he will be sacked. Casualisation of Niger Deltans must stop. We do the same job but only Yorubas, Igbos and Hausas are staffers in Oil Multinationals. Some of our brothers have been casuals for over 5yrs in Oil Multinationals

Politicians now know that no free money under this government. Serving under PMB has to be "a call to serve" indeed!

See reason nah! grin grin grin
Are U sure there is no free money? Then where is d development. 2015 budget was 4 trillion, Buhari passed a supplementary budget of 2 trillion. 2016 budget is above 6 trillion, with a supplementary of over one trillion.

While some worship him as if he is a god
Politics is a game of numbers. Tinubu and the north showed proved that. However Tinubu can't push out a majority President like he and the north pushed out a minority President. Tinubu is now very confused because his relevance has dwindled. I am sure after 2019, the name Tinubu would have been expunged.

You people should stop this whole comparison. Why was Buhari voted in? Was it to right the wrongs of GEJ's tenure or take it a step further into chaos by repeating the same thing GEJ supposedly committed?

kenny987:
Goodness gracious! When did the Executive become so daring and lawless enough to attack the Judiciary in this dastardly manner? They have toyed with the Legislature and now it's time to address Buhari's headache a.k.a the Judiciary?

Is this the new era of intimidation and impunity since goddamn arseholes consciously voted for in 2015? Is this the kind of gestapo governance they crave and desire? Where is democracy, separation of powers and simple, basic courtesy and respect for the rule of law?
How can they knock down gates to gain access to and arrest a serving judge? What else is left before the sham of a constitution we operate is suspended?
Your last sentence, suspension of the constitution will amount to a coup d'etat. I believe the President won't do that.

The most useless comment I've ever seen in my life. Very useless, in short, so useless that even a 2 years old will find it senseless..

If the likes of Gionee, Xiomi, Tecno, Infinix, etc., had this kind of stone age mentality, they wouldn't have been making waves in Africa presently.

If people had this mentality, then there will be only one man - one business in this country..

Op it's like U enta one chance. Four tenants teaming up against U, abi U increase rent by 100%. Some tenants are into such behaviour getting 3 to 6 months from each landlord. They will pay 1 year and get 3 months free, then move to the next landlord to repeat the cycle.
Op just contact a lawyer that is into property and solve this problem.

This second return of Buhari is a big mistake and a threat to our democracy.

Some thieves go write for 100yrs. That's to tell you the amount of money stole. Thieves

Christianity Etc › Re: Is This The True Consequence Of Not Giving Offering In Church? by banio: 2:09pm On Oct 02, 2016
dirtymoney:
1. Before I stopped going to church.
You better retrace your step on that!

2. I was living with a very stingy religious uncle who gives me #500 or #1000 for offering every Sunday!
Okay, u call someone who puts roof on your head and still gives #500 or #1000 every Sunday "stingy"?
Oga. you are actually an ingrate.

3. But the truth was that I have never given the money to church!
That makes you a THIEF sir.

4. I had always removed the money and submitted empty envelops!
This is one of the reasons Dave referred to Nigerians as FANTASTICALLY CORRUPT. And I have an issue with you having a conscience at all.

5. Just this morning, our house was on "fire" just because I said I wasn't going to church again.
And you still live with your parentshuh And you think you can the shots - Wake up boy.

6. and in the course of the heated argument,
You argue with your parents?? Wow. I hop your child doesn't argue wit you too.

7. I told them how I had never even paid offering even when the money was given to me!
You actually did that against your will... When Karma prepares dinner... she serves you with a portion that manipulates your senses before the actual meal.

8. My parents became mad at me and saying that if I don't go and beg for forgiveness and pay all those money, that the cancerworm and caterpillars will "chop" all the money me and my generation will ever make.
For calling your Uncle stingy, your parents were even lenient with their judgement.

9. I just believe all those things are trash...
Ow... so you thinkhuh

10. but the way my dad was saying it convincingly (Now boy-o-boy is scared as sh*t)

11. and trying to quote the bible makes me want to ask if those curses are true
You guys must think nairaland is a refuse disposal center where you bring all manner of junks to bother people's life.

12. for "chopping god's money"
I see the quote, sarcasm I guess. Well, I don't have a problem with that.. what I have a problem with is you spelling "God" with a small letter!!

Boss. In as much as I don't want to further complicate your already screwed up Sunday, I tell you, the best thing I can say is that you need a conscience ASAP. unfortunately they don't sell them on eBay.

You call uncle stingy, you argue with daddy and mummy, you steal from God, make a joke out of it and deceive people with an empty envelop and then you run to nairaland hoping to find answers to a dumb question you already have the answer to. you are further complicating your issue.

Go listen to Kendrick Lamar's Sing About Me/I'm Dying of Thirst and repeat the prayer that was said at the end.
then turn a new leaf!
Nice analysis. If I were his uncle and I get to know of him calling me stingy. I may not give him money ever again, because such people that call others stingy are eternal ingrates

Don't mind the idioot. Instead of apologising to Nigerians that he made a mistake, he is committing an offence with his answer. GEJ reign was the best time to remove the subsidy.

Bolustic:
I guess we Nigerians are shortchanging ourselves, yes there is hike in food prices, but I feel we the masses often cheat one another for only reasons known to God.

I was surprised when my brother bought bag of rice for 13,700 naira last week for my nephew's christening ceremony whereas it is being sold at higher prices in the SS&SE around 20,000 naira (according to Nairalanders from those regions).

The government needs to set up a marketing board that will ensure consumers are not exploited.
You are right. A friend just came from Lagos and he bought bag of rice for #13,000. But in Port Harcourt rice sells for #20,000
Business › Re: Naira Drops To 490/$1, 600/£1 by banio: 6:03pm On Sep 30, 2016
Left to me only banks should buy and sell dollars to Nigerians and to those that have residency in Nigeria. There should be restrictions on the amount one should get. Also the govt needs to do background checks on any suspicious moves. Afterall you can't enter countries with unlimited dollars, so we need strict monetary policies. CBN over to You
