People that have football knowledge figured out Osimhen was our best player in Abuja, and we had a nonexistent midfield over two legs is the reason they are not calling for his omission
But some of you want us to believe Sadiq and Awoniyi that went MIA against a COVID ravaged Tunisian side would have done better against Ghana.

SMH
Which non existent midfield did we have against Ghana? In the first leg, we missed 2 clear cut chances Aribo and Moses Simon and another half chance ‘osimehn’ 2nd leg, we missed like 3 half chances that fell to osimehn. My friend, if you want to consider yourself world class, you have to prove it at the big games and perform. It is unacceptable to not score in over 180 minutes vs Amartey, midfield or no midfield. What happens to dropping deep and shooting from far? The problem with some of you delusionals is that, you’re solely impressed by pace, strength and anger instead of advocating for your favorite to refine his game and work on his weakness. I remember Ethiopia and Ivory Coast defense crowding their box until Emenike hit them with 2 bulala. This is what we want osimehn to improve on before deeming him world class. Positioning, long range shot, missing easy chances. For me, our Number 9 shirt is open for grab

There’s no way that sadiq, ighalo or awoniyi won’t score in over 180 minutes and people won’t call for their omission

but haters will keep hating
But ordinary amartey put him in his back pocket for over 180 Minutes . I felt for the osimehn hype prior to the Ghana game. But, after that 2 legged game, my eyes became clear. To think that he even insulted a legend that tried to correct him says a lot about his attitude towards development. As for me, our number 9 shirt is open for anyone to grab. We need strikers that score half chances or create chances by thierself in case our opponents pack the bus

As for now, Osimehn is a young and decent striker that’s capable of becoming World class. If he admits his weakness and improve on his weakness, he will can become world class.

Sir,this is not about Eguavoen formation but Osimehn and Tammy comparison in seria A and how the duo does their things.
Aside of their Seria A records, go and view their previous stats and see who has more goals

What do you expect? This is Nigeria somebody must take the whole blame and you know it won't be the person that is at fault. The midfield no gel but na striker wey no receive service and wey dey hustle for ball be the real problem. That one for up don already dey talk say na because him no sabi curl ball. Wo just leave am like that. Even if you argue till the end of the year the opinion won't change at all.
Striker that received 4 Half chances and failed to convert any of those and you’re blaming the midfield. A world class striker is supposed to convert half chances at any given time and that’s how you differentiate world class strikers from ok strikers. In addition to that, a top striker should improve on his long range shooting in order to draw back and shoot from distance incase his opponents box has been Tied. There’s no way that Ighalo, sadiq or awoniyi would had gotten away with those Osimehn horrible performances vs Ghana on this site. Never. If you want to deceive Nigerians, Run, and hustle and they will forget about Productivity. I remember how Emenike scored few screamers from outside when the inbox was crowded

Osimhen plays with Insigne so Osimhen is definitely learning or has seen how to curve a shot he just hasn't added it to his game..

That's why he needs to learn how to drop deep and sometimes to midfield and hold the ball so that he can allow other players run ahead of him.

Osimhen is technical, just that most Nigerians and most Nigerian sports journalists are trying to make him the scapegoat instead of admitting that most Nigerian local coaches are below average and local coaching and coaches need to improve.
You’re blaming our coach for osimehn non scoring vs Ghana in 180 minutes while the likes of Sadiq and awoniyi were destroyed on this site during the group stages of the ANC for not scoring on their debut

What you're calling "running or fighting spirit/sentiments" is called " pressing " in football and that's how Nketia scored his 2 goals against Chelsea this night.

Nigeria conceded cheap goals against Tunisia and Ghana due to lack of pressing from Nigeria's midfielders and defenders..

if the Nigerian midfielders and defenders had Osimhen's pressing or "running or fighting spirit/sentiments" mentality then those cheap goals won't have been conceded.
Running and pressing for over 180 Minutes and you cannot score against Amartey. Who pressing Epp? He should conserve his energy and calculate when to Run and also not Run. He should also improve on his shooting outside the box in case teams pack the bus. For now, Abraham is better

What is this "technicality" you guys keep making noise about??

The only difference between Abraham and Osimhen is that Abraham drops deep and holds the ball which allows other players to run into scoring positions which leads to assists

While Osimhen doesn't drop deep and doesn't hold the ball and his usually trying to beat offside trap which means he doesn't wait for and allow other players run into scoring positions.

Abraham, Ihenacho, Awoniyi, Sadiq , Dessers, Moffi play similarly.

Give Osimhen a strike partner like Sadiq or Awoniyi or Ihenacho or Yira sor or Dessers or Moffi then put one of Ihenacho/Aribo/Iwobi/Awoniyi/Nwakwali behind them then at least 3 midfielders and you'll bring out Osimhen's performance.

Which is exactly what Mourinho does with Abraham who has a strike partner who also drops deep then another player behind them then 4 MIDFIELDERS not 1 midfielder as was the case with Eguavoen's formation and tactics.
My friend Osimehn hasn’t shown or proven anything that he is better than Tammy. Go and view Tammy CV vs Osimehn CV and see who has more goals. Mind you, they’re around the same age. Nigerians are deceived by running or fighting spirit/sentiments instead of analyzing based on empirical data. Osimehn showed me his true character vs Ghana. In over 180 minutes, he couldn’t score against Ghana. This season, he hasn’t scored against any big team whatsoever

So that must mean Amatey is better than all the defenders Osimhen plays against in Serie A

Coming from a guy who is still smarting over Rohr, your takes are like tissue paper as usual
Coming from the guy that was salivating over Eguavoen, your opinion holds no ground

Score my nyash. Your monstar machine couldn’t score in 180 minutes against amartey and now we didn’t qualify for the World Cup. If he likes, let me score 100 goals next match na ein problem.

Your sentence just admitted that haller is smart while Osimehn is no brain but all physicality and brawns. Someone that can only run and aggressive, is that one a great striker in modern football?

Lol. Why don't Osimhen hit 20+ here before going to the EPL?
Una go just open mouth dey hype person. Osimehn is an average player. If someone that does not watch football hear you guys, he'll think Osimhen is the best player in Serie A.

Osimhen get all these attributes but una go watch world cup for house lol. People sef.
They like to deceive theirself here. It’s how they have convinced theirself that osimehn is a better player than Napoli. To not score in over 180 minutes vs Ghana was unacceptable

Only delusional people will say that osimehn is better than Abraham because he is fast and can hustle. Football transcends Pace/strength and one has to refine his game and add other valuable attributes to become world class

sentiment aside I will start osimehn ahead of him if both were to be in my team

Osihmen is a hard worker with aggression and pace to burn

Haller is more of a tap in merchant
Then you’re obviously delusional. If it was easy to ta in, why haven’t osimehn tap in some of his missed chances this season?? You realize that hanner scored 11 champions league goals this season

Osimhen is extremely unique. The attributes where he is strong, other strikers are not half as good in that area.

His ball-carrying for example, like a winger.
His close control.
His aerial prowess.
Then his tenacity and aggression.
Unique my nyash. Overrated striker that ordinary amartey tie in both legs. Emenike would had scored a screamer from 30 yards

How’s pinnick the problem? Everyone wants to blame solely pinnick for That World Cup debacle but forgot that it was their pressure that resulted in pinnick sacking Rohr. Everyone is accountable for that Ghana game from pinnick to journalists to coach, fans and players

Seriously?

Keshi had two world class players in Mikel and Victor Moses. Both in the form of their lives and playing for a top club - Chelsea.

Our best player at the moment plays for Leicester.

Keshi had the better team bro.
Keshi had inform electric Emenike, Victor Moses and World class Mikel obi. In addition to that, keshi also had a world class goalkeeper. Are you really sure that our present players are better than keshi own? Keshi won the ANC and he rightfully deserve his flowers as one of super eagles GOAT

This is the same lie some of you keep spreading to justify failure.. There's no such thing as "you don't have the players"
A good coach will know how to properly utilize the players at his disposal... Ghana that knocked us out of the world cup qualifier, which Players did they have? Which players for CAR and Sierra Leone have when they dealt with us?
Look at Barca.. until recently they were playing rubbish which made some people believe that their sqaud was weak without Messi, but look at them now . Ironically,Messi with his star stuffed PSG team are struggling outside of France..

Having good players is one thing, but having a good coach that know how to utilize the players is another thing entirely... Rohr didn't know how to utilize our players.. Eguavon didn't either..They are both gone...Peseiro or whoever take the job will be booted out if they don't deliver too .
You keep posting irrelevant results because at the end of the day, the coach met all his deliverables listed on his pre contractual agreement which was Qualify us for the Nations and World Cup. Where does losing to CAR or drawing Sierra Leone signify failure? At least, I am glad that we were taught a life lesson once again in 2022 like 2002 and 2010. In the future, if we like, let’s sack our coach that met his deliverables

Keep going in circles. We want a team that wins trophies and not just add up the numbers at international tournaments. We will keep sacking those who can't fulfil our dreams. Local or Foreign
You want to win in circles but you don’t have the players to win in circles. Anyway, 2022 was a good lesson

The problem with some of you guys is that, you focus on performance and not contractual agreement. When Rohr was sacked, I told you guys that, it won’t end well because he met his deliverables. I don’t care whether you lose at home 10-0 to CAR or defeat Egypt 1-0, the question is that, did you meet your objective? I.e qualify for the nations cup, World Cup etc. whoever the new coach is, I hope that Nigerians has learnt their lesson and should judge coaches based on contractual agreement rather than irrelevant results. My intuition is telling me that we haven’t learnt our lesson because prior to Rohr sacking, we treated Amodu unfairly twice
