It is not bad if you can concentrate and have enough data to pull you through. However, start your application on time. All the best. Eilenora: Guys,
What are your thoughts on doing 1st semester online from Nig to save costs on accommodation, living expenses etc and then going in April for the rest of one's progrmme? Trying to weigh my options. |

It's coming very close. Please do an upfront medical exam and upload with a web form ASAP. This way, you will help to facilitate the processing of your application. The request for medicals from IRCC may not drop tomorrow as envisaged. If it does, good though. Please bring in feedback. All the best! HorlarJP: I will be resuming in January 6 |

Exactly! adeenzo: Lol, I applied on Sept 7th and till now I haven't gotten a medical request, I had to just go ahead and do an upfront medical exam. if you can do your medical request upfront do it because available medical appointment dates are running thin. That 2 weeks time frame isn't so feasibly, no time frame with Canada is definite now. |

I see you have submitted since you have done your biometrics. Do your medicals and aise a web form then. Bear in mind that you need to book appointment for your medicals too and you may not get a very near date as desired. When are you planning to resume? Baphil: I don't think this is totally true. Do an upfront medicals and submit with your application if you haven't submitted yet. If you have, raise a web form and attach your medical form with your letter. There is no time to waste my dear brother. |

HorlarJP: Good morning I was chatting with a friend that we both applied for Canada and she told me her agent told her that a medical will be requested for 2 weeks after our biometrics. How real is it please? I was thinking of doing an upfront medical or wait since the 2 weeks will be completed by tomorrow since I did my biometrics on the 5th of November! |

It's been declined because most banks are on the monthly limit of $100 presently. You may have to get a domiciliary account atm card to be able to make transactions above $100 US dollars. It's sad but so true. Ayokaq: Have tried both, d transaction was declined |

Your friend has done the necessity. Its left now to hoping and believing.

Please house, I need help here abeg Baphil: Hello house, I am asking for a friend. In her study application form, she noticed she didn't check the column asking if she has been denied visa before. She ticked no instead of yes and has long submitted her application.
What is her fate please?
Upon realising this mistake, she raised a web form where she explained, apologized and then attached a fresh form with the correction. Do you think this is okay? |

When you say the family, do you mean plus the two children of 12 and 11 years? Baphil: Thank you so much for your response. The reason he's going with his family is because he has a foreign wife - who cannot stay alone in Nigeria while he's gone for that long. They have travel history and valid visa to the USA. Is it not enough to show they are not planning to migrate? |

Chukwubuikexo: A student Visa for two years study and he is taking his children, the Visa Officer might see this as a means of migration rather than studies. That aside, his family needs to get their medicals done too |

*URGENT PLEASE!!!* Please I have a question: My brother is trying to apply for his student visa. His course is for 2 years and he plans to go with his family. Please note that his children are 12 and 11 years old. His problem is that when he generated their document lists after responding to questions, it was not required of his wife or children to do medicals; just him. Is this okay or should they all go ahead and have their medicals done?
Looking forward to getting responses please |

Hello everyone, good morning. Please a quick question in need of an urgent response. When a husband and wife apply for UK Visa, and they prefer their passport to be returned by courier. Do they pay for only one post or does it have to be 2 postages. I was thinking since they are a family and it’s going to the same address, one postage fee will do for both of them. |

Matinoh: my friend got a regret mail December 2017.. I kept wondering why it came so early for him and others haven't got any mail from chevening since they submitted their application On Facebook Chevening fora, many people got the reject mail in December from other countries. It is mostly people who didn’t fill something right. Things like job experience, citizenship, acceptance to come back for two years etc. Those details disqualified them. Their essays didn’t get to be read at all. |
