I will advise you to leave your application the way it is unless it is requeated of you to submit a first bank mybankstatement. I am sure they know about first bank new enlistment. A few people here have borne witness to the fact that First Bank is now in the list and they successfully generated their ticket cose and password. Baggiomarrio: really what about us that our application has been running since January, using a printed first bank Babk statement and a letter attached that the bank does not operate such service .. what should we do? And I still don’t see first bank in the list |

First Bank has been added in the list of mybankstatement.com Kindly meet a bank official and explain what you need. You can also print a copy to show the official. Copies have been displayed here recently. childgodly: Hi everyone, I have a little problem. It seems that First Bank is not among the banks recognized to give the mybank statement, but my funds are coming from that account. How can I work around this problem when applying for NSE |

If your application is online, you don't need to sign it electronically. In the space for signature, just fill in your full names- first name, middle name and last name (surname). You can also choose to state your surname first before your first and middle names. I hope this is clear to you and allays your worries. All the best in your application! That is why you see the remark "Recommend Interview". Your friend should be expecting a decision soon.
All is looking positive from the initial review done.

Have you truly confirmed the card was later cancelled and money reversed? If you have, then do mails to them about this confirmation which you did not know of before and promise to pay ASAP. Do so quickly and write back with proof of payment. But if you are sure it wasn't cancelled or reversed, still write them with proof of payment. Since there is no letter to show the update in your profile account, no one but them will ever know the status change that occurred therein. OBANLABAMIDELE2: Good morning great minds, yesterday I got a response from embassy concerning my application saying I have a debt to crown of 235 cad Dollar which I mailed the them back that am not owing any debt and I also raised a webform for that , the email address the IRCC added on the letter I also mailed them also , and the replied me by saying the card I used for the transaction was later cancelled and the money was reversed to the bank.so I am working on paying another fees later this week before I got a msg again on my application that my application status has changed, please help me what the meaning And I logged in cheched but nothing was changed or updated. |

I know about two people who applied in September and October 2020 for 2021 Fall Term - Law - Master of Laws -Thesis and they were told to wait till late March for a decision. Please bear in mind that LLM there does not require you securing a supervisor before being admitted. Securing a supervisor depends on the course you are applying for and the faculty involved. Getting a decision feedback also depends on the faculty. Did they tell you when their decision is due? If not, you may need to write and enquire if you think it's taking too long for comfort. Wishing you the very best. iwble: Blessed morning,
I want to appreciate everyone for their contribution and support to this forum. This place has being my happy place so far since the inception of my application to University of Saskatchewan.
I want to know if am still on the right track. I applied to University of Saskatchewan for fall 2021 Curriculum studies(Master, Thesis). I want to know if anybody here has gotten admission to same school.
Thanks!! |

I am just hearing about this. Recently, I helped in an application which involved 2 minor children. Their father was for student permit and they and their mother accompanied with visitor visa application and they got their visas. They are scheduled to travel in a few weeks to come. So it is so strange hearing children must apply for study permit even while accompanying parents who are going as students. Perhaps it is a new rule. Let's wait for others to respond too. Rae3355: Hi all,
I am new to this forum. I intend to apply for a study permit and travel with my 4-year old daughter who turns 5 in October, my husband is not traveling with us. I got admission to NSCC for a Grad Cert in Event Management. I read on the IRCC website that a minor applying from outside Canada would need a study permit even though they are accompanying a parent. I also read on this forum that a child was not allowed to board the airplane because the child had a visitor's visa and the mom had a work permit.
"Visa offices processing temporary residence applications made outside Canada by minor children who want to study in Canada should consider them as students and not as visitors, even when they are accompanying a parent who is authorized to either work or study in Canada. In other words, a study permit is required, unless they are exempt from requiring one pursuant to Section R188."
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/study-permits/guidelines-on-minor-children.html
In filling the forms online, I have to upload a letter of acceptance from the school for my child as well as fill the IMM1294 form - I don't have a letter of acceptance because my friends in Canada told me that the School Board assigns kids to schools close to where they are living and I have not secured accommodation yet.
For those who applied with child(ren), please how did you go about this? I am confused. Please help! |

What did you apply for? Have you also written them to enquire? I know someone who applied there - (University of Saskatchewan) in January. She wrote them after submitting her application and they replied that she should exercise patience till late March for a response. So she is waiting right now till then. You are at liberty to make inquiries on things you do not know or understand. prada1: Anyone applied to usask? i haven't heard anything for the past two months |

Thank you for your input. However, everything in their process was done in Abuja. They reside there too. My brother was able to get through to VFS via mail and phone. It was explained to him that because the children didn't do biometrics (as children under 14 years of age do not go through biometrics), they must pay biometrics transmission fees. They went ahead to pay and then resent their passports to the embassy. IRCC has sent messages of counterfoil i.e. that their visas have been pasted on their passports. We learn everyday. I pray someone applying with a minor under 14 years would take note of this and just go ahead to pay the transmission fee before sending their passports to the embassy. Please remember to attach the proofs of transmission fees with your package. JustMellow: Hello Baphil,
It seems their PP was sent to another VAC different from where there biometrics were given. Hence, the need for the transmission fees.
Once the outstanding debt has been made and evidence of payment well-received, the PP will be immediately dispatched out of stamping.
If they've received the message/letter by error, they should immediately call the VAC centre hotline to get it resolved.
Best of Luck |

Thank you so much. I appreciate your help and I am guessing your reasoning too. I will wait for more comments on this to know the way forward and what to do. Than you once more. Yteem: Not sure but from what was stated on the envelopes, I think they expect the transmission fee of 7430 to be paid for the two children despite the fact that they did not do Biometrics.
The fee is referred to as transmission fee.
I think once they pay and resend it will be stamped.
Whether or not that is allowed is another topic. |

Please Nairalanders, I need urgent help: my brother submitted his family's passports for their visas and they came back today without the visas and with these papers attached.
I don't really understand what the issue is. The children didn't need to do biometrics. Their parents did their biometrics in Abuja. My brother also submitted passports in Abuja with all the necessary documents he used to submit his and there was no issue with his. What is this transmission fee about?
Please note that he sent his wife and two children's passports in one package.
Can someone please deduce what they mean to enable them sort it out promptly.
Thank you

Good evening everyone. So I have come for the end part of my brother and his family's testimony ooo. My brother's family - wife and two children's visas have been issued today. His own visa was issued on the 5th of January 2021 and his family was requested to go for medicals on the 4th of January 2021. They went for their medicals on the 13th of January 2021 and passed on the 16th of January 2021. After that, no more response from IRCC. We decided to send direct mails to the three Nairobi emails since we are sure that particular office handled my brother's application and naturally received the generic acknowledgement mails back. So today at 12:09 and 12:13 noon, their three PPR mails and one BVL mail for their mother landed. They are so overjoyed ! Thank you everyone for answering all the questions I had here when I started their application. One more question please - I need to know if the passports will be submitted together as a family or separately as individuals.
Thank you again and again. |

Hahahahaha! Happy to have you as my adopted brother. You are welcome. Yes, I think it's better to state one year; you will be able to sort out any other thing once you are there. Once your help has the same surname as you, she is practically your child and she can be listed as one and it makes it easier for the application. As an adult, she can also conveniently travel with them too. 7COLOURS: Hey! I have adopted you as my sister o, God bless you ma, I'm grateful ma.
What is stated on my offer letter is one year ma so I will request for one year study leave based on your advise.
As for who will bring my children, I'm planning to include my house help in my application. She is 21 years old presently and her family has agreed to let her go with us. She currently bears our surname and we have lots of family pictures together and she also looks like me. Gurus in the house, please hope there won't be any challenge with this arrangement?

GTB does mybankstatement, so you are good to go. The truth is that people can run two businesses at the same time and not necessarily be constantly physically present in one. You can explain someone else heads the other business while you are one of the directors or the sole director of it is a business name.
I think you should stop at stating only one year if it is not stated in your acceptance letter. So was it stated? If yes, then state it and explain the last one year is for internship, if not, leave it at one year. The point is that if it is stated in your letter of acceptance and your office also states it, it validates it and makes you more transparent and convincing. It's even in the open sef, so no need hiding that fact if it is stated there.
I think your children can apply from 6 months to one year after you arrive. Who will travel with and bring your children to Canada? Remember to add the person to their application if the person is not you.
I believe the main gurus here can also come in here too.
