PoliticsRe: Buhari Kicks Against Same Currency For West Africa By 2020 by Bapy(m): 6:01am On Oct 25, 2017

grin

I am not an economist but this might be a good move from Buhari because most of this ECOWAS nation don't have a strong economy like Nigeria if we are joining with countries of higher GDP than us now maybe yes but Nigeria South Africa and Egypt still have the largest economy in Africa, we they run into economic crisis then we might have to bail them out. Just like Greece and most other EU nation and that called for BREXIT. Why put head for wetin no pay us the 3 major tribe in 9ja never live peacefully finish na to dey join hand spend same currency for west Africa, I beg make ECOWAS park well

Saddam decided to drop $$ and he was killed
Gaddafi proposed gold as trade currency for Africa during AU summit and he was killed
al-Assad want to drop USD and Syria is still at war

that's true oga mi... Good comment

My brother, it's all about time management. For a start, you should have a fixed fraction of your day (say 2-3 hours) dedicated to blogging. Then what matters most after that is consistency. Spending just 1.5 hours every day and being consistent with that is better than spending 10 hours on 2-3 random days of the week.

If you plan your time well, you won't be distracted. After all, you don't spend all of your time reading. After all, despite being a student, you still find time for social media and nairaland, social outings, chats with friends, etc. So, you can cut down on the time you spend on those stuffs and put them into blogging. Then blog correctly by choosing the right niche and approach. I can't go into details of that here and now.
thank U bro. Please how can I contact U maybe on WhatsApp so that U can guide me on which niche to use.

I'm not under any obligation to teach anyone anything. First, get that clearly. But even at that, I run a blog solely for the purpose of teaching others how to make money online. That's more like a humanitarian thing because that particular blog earns me crumbs every month. I can't allow the passion to help others distract me from the businesses that really make me money. You might not understand, but if you're in my shoes, you'd dig. And you people tend to forget that apart from online business there are other things to worry about. I have a family and I'm a final year medical student. If all those don't send a signal to you, well, it's your choice.

Your statement that I come online to intimidate people isn't based on wisdom. You can see that the OP mentioned me in the thread, asking me to answer the question honestly. And that's what I did. And I do share such information just to prove to others that making money online is real, not to brag. If I wanted to brag, I'd create a thread for that and show my bank statement as well as assets I've acquired with the proceeds from online business.

If you think this effort of yours can tarnish my image, you can try harder. I mean, you can throw bigger tantrums. Whatever opinion you decide to have about me is your choice.
boss you mentioned that you are a final year medical student, how do u cope with studying and blogging at the same time.? I want to learn from you. What's the secrete. Am scared of starting a blog because It might distract me in school. Waiting patiently for your response.

A great deal is made of the partial truth that Great Britain does not possess a written constitution and for this reason Patronage, Consensus and Conventions play leading roles in checking governments powers and indirectly the electorates inclinations . Seems to me however that patronage, consensus and conventions does not so much play a leading role in all persuasion of liberal democracies but goes with the territory and consequently Nations that wish to practice liberal democracy ought be weary of this. Take Conventions for instance (that aspect related to force of custom), when Goodluck Jonathan was in power, the opposition went nuts, trying to discredit his regime in order to portray themselves as the best party for Nigeria. I used the word, NUTs because, although it is the norm for political parties to discredit one another in the pursuit of your votes, Nigerians, like bush-people, overdid it. The consequence of this was to create a dangerous precedent, that precedent is now Convention. The current vitriol hyped on Buhari's government by the opposition is that Convention. The Convention is marked by irresponsible, selfish, no-holds-bard means of attacking the Government in power. This means that people who care should worry more about Nigeria's continuity as a Nation than who wins the next election. For, whoever wins reaps the whirlwind of an overheated polity, which if unchecked burns down the nation.

TV/MoviesRe: TSTV Launches In Nigeria: Channels, Packages, Subscription & Decoder Prices by Bapy(m): 11:29am On Sep 23, 2017
Seanonaira:
TSTV DECODER AND PRICE IN NIGERIA
TSTV: Telcom Satellites Telelvision has come to stay in Nigeria with amazing packages filled in the TSTV Decoder. Let me quickly tell you about TSTV decoder and what’s inside it.

TSTV Decoder comes with 200+ Channels just to entertain and make sure you feel very happy.
It comes with Inbuilt camera. With the inbuilt camera, you can be able to use it to do a video call to your family and friends provided they also have decoder and active subscriptions. Isn’t it amazing. In fact, this is one of the best thing I personally like about TSTV decoder.

Just like I said earlier, you can use TSTV decoder to make video calls. This is made possible because of the free Wi-Fi it came with coupled with the amazing inbuilt camera inside the decoder.
The decoder has a Pause Option. With this Pause Option you can pause your subscription for a while. This is also amazing because with this option, you can use your subscription for more than a month or even more. You can also pause it when you travel.

However, when you newly buy TSTV Decoder, you get 20GB free data bundle. What I’m not certain for now is whether you can be able to browse with the data through your phone considering the fact that it comes with Free Wi-Fi. Will update this post when I clarify it.

TSTV Channels, Packages, Subscription & Decoder Prices

TSTV decoder comes with hard disk space of 50GB and an option of record while playing. This means that, you can record your favorite show from any of the channels and save it right there in your decoder so as to play it whenever you like. I think this option is also great. For example, an important movie is showing while you’re very busy. Instead of leaving your work to come watch the movie. You can just record it and watch it later at your own convenience. This is a nice option for ladies cooking. You don’t have to let your food get burnt anymore.

With TSTV Decoder you can watch latest cinema show. Do you understand it? Ok, let me explain it again. TSTV has made it much easier for movie lovers. Now you can watch that LATEST cinema movies right at the comfort of your home. With this, you don’t have to go to cinema anymore. And those who doesn’t normally have the chance to go to cinema can now be updated with the latest cinema movies. Wow! Its getting interesting right?

With the amazing options TSTV decorder comes with, we will proudly say that TSTV decoder is like no other. It also comes with a very cheap price of N5,000 only. Re-subscribing is very easy as long as you have airtime on your phone. You don’t need to go to bank or any retailer to subscribe. With the airtime on your phone, you can easily re-subscribe your TSTV decoder.

For sports lovers. Because I know a lot of people are complaining that Gotv doesn’t show live match all the time. The good news is, with TSTV, you can watch live matches like UEFA Champions League, Europa League and more.

TSTV CHANNELS

TSTV comes with amazing channels just for your pleasure. With more than 200 channels, TSTV have you covered all day. Sports, Kids, Health, Fashion etc. They are many. Below are the list of TSTV Channels in Nigeria.

PoliticsWhat Donald Trump Told Buhari Yesterday by Bapy(op): 2:46pm On Sep 21, 2017
US President Donald Trump has lauded Nigeria for its handling of the 2014 outbreak of the Ebola virus disease. Trump on Wednesday also said there’s “tremendous business potential” in Africa, revealing that his wealthy friends were investing on the continent.
He said this while hosting President Muhammadu Buhari and other African leaders to a working lunch on the sidelines of the 72nd UN general assembly in New York.
Trump said: “I’m greatly honoured to be joined by leaders of Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guinea, Namibia, Senegal, Uganda and South Africa. In particular, I want to thank President Condé, who is representing the African Union.
“In this room, I see partners for promoting prosperity and peace on a range of economic, humanitarian and security issues.
“We hope to extend our economic partnerships with countries who are committed to self-reliance and to fostering opportunities for job creation in both Africa and the United States.
“Africa has tremendous business potential. I have so many friends going to your countries, trying to get rich. I congratulate you.
“They’re spending a lot of money. But it does – it has tremendous business potential and representing huge amounts of different markets. And for American firms it’s really become a place that they have to go – that they want to go.
“Six of the world’s ten fastest-growing economies are in Africa. Increasing American trade and investment across diverse industries – including agriculture, energy, transportation, healthcare, travel, and tourism – will further transform lives throughout the continent.
“Africa, I have to say, is a continent of tremendous potential. The outlook is bright. I look forward to hearing from you and your advice during the meal.
“I really want to congratulate you – growing very fast economically and in every other way. You’ve done a terrific job, you’ve had some tremendous obstacles placed in your path, but you have done really an absolutely incredible job.”
Trump pledged that the US would partner with African countries and organisations, like the African Union, leading successful efforts to end violence to prevent the spread of terrorism and to respond to humanitarian crises.
“I commend your troops currently serving in the field. Very brave. Very, very brave what they’re going through. But we cannot have prosperity if we’re not healthy,” he said.
“We will continue our partnership on critical health initiatives. Uganda has made incredible strides in the battle against HIV/AIDS. In Guinea and Nigeria, you fought a horrifying Ebola outbreak.
“Namibia’s health system is increasingly self-sufficient. My Secretary of Health and Human Services will be traveling to Africa to promote our Global Health Security Agenda.”
The US president, however, regretted that too many people were suffering from conflict in Africa, pointing out the Central African Republic, the Congo, Libya, Mali, Somalia and South Sudan, among others, “were going through dangerous times”.
He noted that terrorist groups, such as ISIS, al-Shabaab, Boko Haram, and al Qaeda threaten African peace, adding that the US was proud to work with African leaders toward eradicating terrorist safe havens, to cut off their finances, and to discredit their depraved ideology.source yabaleft. Con

CareerChoosing The Right Career by Bapy(op): 12:17pm On Sep 16, 2017
Choosing the right career can be difficult, but having a defined career direction will help you with getting a job. But with a little hard work, some planning, and some serious self-reflection, you can set yourself on a path towards a fruitful, fulfilling career that can provide for you and your family.
Part One of Four:
Consider Your Interests
Consider your dream career. There is an old saying that if you’re trying to choose a career, you should think about what you would do if you didn’t have to work. If you had a million dollars and you could do anything, what would you do? Your answer to that question, while maybe not literally the best career choice for you, may give you insight into what you should do.
If you want to be a music star, consider going into audio engineering or music composition. These careers are easier to pursue and you will be much more likely to succeed and provide for yourself in the future.
If you want to be an actor, consider going into media broadcasting. You can get a degree in communications or work your way up the chain of command in a local news or other television studio.
If you want to travel the world, consider becoming an airline steward or stewardess. This is a great way to make a living and pursue your dream of traveling the globe.
Consider your hobbies. It is very easy to turn your hobbies or something you love doing into a future career. Many hobbies correspond to real world needs and positions. Consider what you like to do and how that might fit into a career.
For example, if you like playing video games, consider becoming a video game designer, etc
If you like drawing or art, consider becoming a graphic designer.
If you like sports, consider going into teaching and getting certified as a coach.
Consider what you enjoy or enjoyed in school. Academic subjects translate well into future careers but may require more schooling than other types of careers. Your favorite class in high school could very well launch you into your future career but you have to be willing to work for it.
For example, if you loved chemistry, you could look forward to a future career as a lab technician or a pharmacist.
If you liked English class, consider becoming an editor or a copywriter.
If you enjoyed math, consider becoming an accountant or something related.
