500k is small for establishment of a block making company since you will be competing with guys who are already established in the business with available materials and truck(s) for conveying purchased products to various destinations, notwithstanding if you are determined that might not be an issue. The main issue is your target customers, what is the rate of demand for the produce in your hometown? Anothther point to take note of is that demand for building blocks is seasonal somehow, you must be aware of that. Lastly I will advise if you can have an additional source of income as a support to your block making industry, venturing into agro products won't be a bad idea or you can even take up another teaching job in your hometown for a while till you get stabilized and face the business fully. Even in developed countries like the UK, US and Canada where most of the missionaries that built the so called Missionary schools hailed from, they nowadays permit the usage of religious attires in their public organizations like usage of turban by Sikh police officer, hijab usage by female students, Canadian RCMP even allowed bearded Sikh and Muslim police officers lately just to prove the world have changed and we need to be tolerant of one another. However, Nigeria Christians with their hypocrisy will always prove to know Christianity more than Christ, our wards fight over who should and who shouldn't use hijab in secondary schools when their mates elsewhere are busy inventing technologies that are changing the world positively. IT'S FOOLISH HOW WE ALLOW RELIGION TO DESTROY US THIS MUCH. |
