I just hope we won't get to see another Gareth Bale situation with Messi. That would be damning for his legacy.

Forget the fact that people are cheering/tweeting about him now. Clubs are powerful and can reduce any player's value within a few months. Don't think Messi would be any exception.

If I were Messi's lawyer, I would advice him to swallow his pride, make peace and see out his contract for the next year. At the end, people will respect him more for not starting a war with a sick board.
