dayokanu: Just yesterday Leverkusen beat Dortmund at Signal iduna park and moved 6 points ahead of BvB

How many point is Barca topping the league 0 or 3?
Atletico madrid is also topping RM with 3points but we know who our main rivals are

homesteady: Let's use the gap difference between the 1st and 3rd in premier, la liga and German league!
In premier league - 5points
La liga - 3points
German - 10points grin

OYA let's compare between the 1st and 2nd
Premier league - 5points
La liga - 0points
German - 4points

So is this proof enough?
grin grin you get time sha

dayokanu: We are 4 points ahead of Leverkusen.

Or should we look at Arsenal being 13 points ahead of Man Utd instead of the second placed team?
Leverkusen is borrowing that space, you know it. Dortmund are your main rivals
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by barackohandso(m): 7:28pm On Dec 08, 2013
dayokanu: Then prove it with evidence?
It's clear to see, I don't know what evidence you need again. After 15 matches, you're 10 points ahead of your fiercest rival

logica: Only problem is he's a bit lackadaisical and lazy in tracking back (defending). If he plans to come back to Barca, he has to lose those attributes quickly.
True. He'll be a plus to the team
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by barackohandso(m): 7:23pm On Dec 08, 2013
dayokanu: In those times EPL was not competitive. Just like with Barcelona winning 6 of the last 10 La Liga titles

Only 3 clubs have won La Liga in the last 10yrs compared to 5 who have won the Bundesliga in the same time

So if we cant put it in numbers what should we put it in? ALPHABETS?
So you agree that the EPL wasn't competitive then?? Hmmn, it's like the first time I'm hearing this.

It happens everywhere, that's my point, I'm not defending any league here

Johnpaul88: What a goal by our boy Deulofeu against Arsenal in Emirates.

What a talent!

He earns for Everton a much deserving point in a fantastic match
I don't know why he wasn't kept and Tello loaned instead. Just feels good watching his wonderful performances

homesteady: Dayo! Synonym! Synonym!! Tough and competitive aren't they synonyms?
If you told me that before before, I would have believed you, but now, it's a lie! The least competitive league currently is German league ! You can't deny it
That was my exact point, don't know what they're denying it for. Maybe they're confused thinking I mean they don't play well.

For the record, bayern munich currently plays the best football in europe. Una don happy now? :-P

dayokanu: When was the last time and compare it to other leagues to see where La Liga ranks in competitiveness
Well you can't put a number to it COMPLETELY.
From 2007-2010, Manchester united won the league and won two seasons later making it 4 out of 5, yet y'all didn't see the EPL as less competitive but when it comes to Spain, y'all jump out and say how less competitive la liga is.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by barackohandso(m): 5:56pm On Dec 08, 2013
dayokanu: Abi oo Its very funny when a La Liga fan would mention the word competition

2012 Madrid finished with 100 points Valencia at 3rd finished almost 40points less. Competition indeed

And we are still waiting for when a club not named Madrid or Barca last won the league
It's not as if it hasn't happened before.

So what moral right do you have to claim the
Bundesliga is a one man show when its even
worse in the La Liga
I'm not trying to be "moral" here. My point is 'Stop being so judgmental on la liga' cos it's not as if it's all perfect in all other leagues. If Barca were 10points ahead of RM at this stage of the season, we for no hear word again.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by barackohandso(m): 3:08pm On Dec 08, 2013
A-40 :
The only Pharissee here is you! So when last did
this happen? A fan of a league were the gap
between 2nd and 3rd can get as high as 30pts?
Where the team in 1st scores 50 more goals
than the team in 3rd is that competition? A
league where two teams gobble 2/3rd of TV
money is talking about competition
When a team not named Barca or Madrid go on
to win the league you can come back and we
can sit and talk about competitiveness
So that's what will make you rate la liga as competitive? SMH! You can as well blame dangote and adenuga for being the the richest men in Nigeria over the last decade as lack of competition.

TV rights in Spain going to two teams(majorly) is in the Spanish FA's interest. It's no coincedence they've dominated world football over the period this has happened. Abi you go put your money for business wey no go give you profit?

Sakho gave his opinion and he criticized him for not supporting his countryman. Who does that?

begging about simply stating what he felt

I guess that's why he criticized sakho for backing CR7 for ballon d'or
How rich coming from a league that has one team winning 4 of the last 5 titles
Don't be hypocritical, that's good quality. Not one in any of those five years has a 20point gap been recorded at the season's end. Will you call the EPL a one team league cos Manchester united has won 13 out of 23 leagues?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by barackohandso(m): 8:49pm On Dec 07, 2013

Live in the present
When last has a team won the league with a 20points gap? Hmmn?

Everything revolves about one team

Funny enough, people still refer to la liga as a two team league but there is a particular league in Germany where monopoly is going on. Anyways, enjoy it while it lasts.

Btw, barca's was during 180 minutes unlike bremen's
EducationRe: Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta Aka FUNAAB 2013/2014 Admissions by barackohandso(m): 1:57pm On Dec 07, 2013
chupcake: After the PTUME, there will be an interview.. During the interview, they will surely ask what happend. What has he been doing for all those years. If he ever mentions, 'I went to a polytechnic', there is a 90% chance he won't admitted. The best thing he can do for himself is dress corporate and when asked, he should just tell them a story touches the heart. Like Folks died and I had to work to send my sibilings to school and all that. And under no circumstances must you say you've gone to any other higher institution.. Never..!! I know not one buh five people (Know not heard) that lost admission cos of that. The other dude wasa asked to take his top off revealing a tattoo.

My Point: The interview is strict (It might have lost that over the years) and all you need is to give them an excuse to not admit you.
Very good. I specifically love and appreciate the fact that you took your time to explain, not many people do that.
So from what I can deduce from your write-up, FUNAAB doesn't mind that one uses an old certificate, one just needs to back it up.
EducationRe: Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta Aka FUNAAB 2013/2014 Admissions by barackohandso(m): 1:21pm On Dec 07, 2013

Why tear him apart? Do you mean they won't admit him because of his old certificate?

usbcable: Defeatist? May be. But in all honesty, put yourselves in his shoes.
WHAT WILL YOU DO, IF YOU ARE CONSTANTLY SUBJECTED TO CRITICISM NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO.

no matter what he does, it is always with a skewed eye lens you guys will translate it.

So why would he giv a Bleep about .... all
You can have a lot of critics and still be justified, it's called professionalism. He can score against barca and do the shut up/calm down celebration, it's his style, he's a great footballer, but your greatness also hinges on your professionalism too, so boycotting an awards ceremony like the ballon d'or just because of a comment is childish, you should agree cos like it or not, not everyone will like you.

I dont see him as being any way exceptionally humble than most other footballers
neither do I see CR as being anyway differently arrogant. than most other footballers
Fair enough

and BTW he has a liberty/right to decide if he will attend an event or not regardless of whoevers oars is goored .
So much for professionalism

stop fooling yourself and just be honest as there is no crime there.

Una no like the guy.

do you think it being a cule and loving a real madrid star player that is referenced against your super star is something "normal".

stop being childish jare and realise in the real world nobody loves his competitor.
Since you know that, I don't think there's any need for this argument…it's not as if you love Messi even with his humility

Personally, I even view Ronaldo's statement as defeatist!!
Yeah it's as if he's above the law. Why didn't he boycott the 2008 awards?

Defeatist sounds plausible thinking about it

you expres your opinion----makes sense to you
he expresses his opinion--- doesnt makes sense to you

what a **** logic
Yeah his opinion is his business quite all right, but we both know that is very unprofessional of him (except of course you prefer to deceive yourself being a RM fan). He also boycotted the 2011 gala and the UEFA 2013 awards ceremony too, hmmn, as if he's the only footballer who has a private life.

Platini said his mind (not as if he's not right) and your crybaby said he wants to frustrate him.
