Bad week, totally for us! First ajax and then this, we need to step up. For those calling for martino's head already, I'd say HABA! It's way too early na, the loss was deserved cos we played woefully, and as much as Messi would have changed the game (he's the best in the world, so any team would depend on him), you need to know that we lose matches that even he plays in, and lastly San mames is a ground which we haven't won in the last 3 seasons.

Neymar on the other hand should stop going to the ground easily and start focusing on scoring, aggh! It's so freaking annoying. I'm sure he was looking for a penalty and probably wanted the defender that brought him down outside the box to get a red, Messi wouldn't do that.

You don't judge matches just like that. The defence was in shambles and the midfield was owned by Ajax. I don't think Messi would have done much to stop that.

Besides, last season home and away we played against Celtic and couldn't salvage a win over two legs, even with Messi. The best we got was a draw at home. Yet, this time we won them at Scotland without Messi. That is not to say Messi is not vital in the team, but that you don't judge team plays like that.

I never expected us to win this match cause Ajax approaches the game with a very high spirit. We now look forward to Sunday at the new San Mames and hopefully we get a win a such tricky a tie.
