While you're awaiting a permanent solution from the landlord, you could try using temporary paper blinds to cover your windows. Example below from IKEA but similar models are available on Amazon, Dunelm etc

I got the property from a letting agency. I first reported the issue to the guy assigned as my property manager by the agency but he said I should relate with the landlord since they are the ones responsible for all maintenance works in the house.

Please I need advise on this issue.

I rented a newly refurbished flat and you all know these rules that you can't temper with the wall or put a nail on it, I wrote to the landlord to provide curtain hangers/rails to make it easier for me to fix my curtains and not temper with the wall since there is none in the house which they agreed to do.

This issue has been pending since three weeks ago. Their man came to take measurements of all the windows two Fridays ago and nothing has been heard again. I sent a reminder mail to the landlord last Friday when it was exactly a week since the measurements were taken but no response has been received yet on it.

All my windows in the house are open and uncovered which violates my privacy. Please I need candid advice on what to do.

Anyone knows anything about these brand of rice, Trophy Basmati and Shahzada Basmati rice? I was in a Morrison store recently and saw them at a very cheap price of £17 per 10kg bag compared to the Setara Golden Basmati rice which I have always bought in these Pakistani shops at £12 per 5KG bag.

I'm scared of buying something cos it's cheap and end up regretting it. Please kindly share your views about the rice brands if you are familiar with them.

Is it possible to transfer money in a Dom account from say Bank A to another Dom account in Bank B in Nigeria? I can't access the money in my Dom account and my younger brother needs forex to apply for his study visa.

I don't think my First bank where my money is domiciled has a dollar denominated ATM card which could have solved this issue easily.

Economic sabotage my foot. There is a reason why Domiciliary accounts are used in financial institutions across the world. It's not mandatory for you to comment on every topic especially one you don't have information on.

I send money abroad regularly for trade related issues and hence, a Dom account is needed to facilitate such.

I have been trying to withdraw money from my First Bank Dom account for some while now but has been unable to do it. The cashier usually tells me that there is no funds available whenever I visit their branch. It's really painful for someone to have money in an account and yet, unable to withdraw it.
