You might need to enroll in a proper training school to get hands-on training in networking.

I have been a developer for a while. Now am looking into DevOps and Cybersecurity.

Completed Ethical hacker course and currently going through CompTIA Security+ training.

Hope to get an internship after the certification exam but have not made up my mind when to sit for it.

What's up ladies and gents,


I noticed that there's been several threads on programming, data scientist, but none on computer networking. When I say networking,I mean network engineers,certified ethical hackers,network administrator, cyber security and rest.

Well for me,I've started my path in the network engineering field. Actually I started learning python,went into data scraping, and now into network engineering.I'm self learning, I plan on writing ccna exams when I'm done training myself. Then maybe move on to ethical hacking(ceh) or ccnp,but I'm not sure yet which path to take . Actually one of the main reasons I learned python was because I knew network automation requires a programming language,mostly python.

So if you're in the same field or something related as I am planning to be in,please gather here and share your experience, frustrations and advice. Are there jobs out there for us? Is it worth it?Best route to take?Salary scale ....

I didn't plan to go into networking before tho...studied mechanical engineering in the university but I feel myself slowly leaving the mech field.

So guys...let's hear it

My childhood and best friend came to my house crying and so down and after much consolation from me,she finally let out what the problem was.
