You're still pushing this? Your point being that Willock isn't a bench player? Mind you, this season was Arsenals worst ever with 3 different managers.
You're talking of a player in his first season dropping 5 goals. A grand total Iwobi have never managed in his career?
Oga abeg.

Your point is that Iwobi didn't play advance enough to be a game changer?

Willock of all people played 44 games this season in all competition, and guess what?
He got 5 goals and 1 assists grin
With a grand total of 831 minutes in the Epl. Dose that look like the numbers of a regular to you?

The topic of discussion is "chance created"..

He did his part by creating the chances....it isn't his fault that the people the chance were created for couldn't make good use of it...

Go and watch arsenal last PL game of 2018/2019.see how Iwobi was creating chances upon chance while Aubameyang wasted them...
And it just happened that those Auba scored weren't from the gamut Iwobi created. Tells me the quality of his final balls were suspect then.
You can't complain of fire power when you have the league's top scorer to feed.

Willock?

Yeah. Willock of all people. Give him Iwobi's minutes, he will crack double digit goals, that's the implication of his stats and probably the reason why Arsenal had no qualms binning Iwobi.
I hear Everton want to get rid too.

Arsenal top chance creator in the premier league this season was Pepe with 35..

In comparison, Iwobi created 40 chances for arsenal last season in the PL...

What do u have to say about that??
Pepe's XGA this season was 18. That is his goals and assists combined.
Iwobi's last season with Arsenal was 3 goals, 4 assists XGA= 7.
You see the difference now?

He had just two more premier league app than ozil and 3 more than miki

Yet he created more chances than any arsenal player according to Squakwa
Where in the world have you seen DMs assessed by the number of chances they created?
How many chances did Ndidi create this season?
You guys come up with all these nonsense to protect Iwobi who every man and his dog knows he lacks the ability to be decisive in the final 3rd.

Alex Iwobi created more chances from open play (40) than any other Arsenal player during the 2018-19 Premier League season; no Arsenal player completed more take-ons (46) either.

Playing close to the strikers?

Where were the other midfieders or wingers playing?

Closer to the bench?
What other midfielders? Xhaka would have passed the ball more to the strikers? Or Torriera or Guendozi who all played at the base?

Last season, only Ozil created more chance than Iwobi for arsenal! . What happened to the others?

You said he is feeding one of the deadliest striker in the world, but u forgot to mention that same striker has missed many clear chances too..
Who else was Arsenal's most advance midfielder outside Ozil and Iwobi? Ozil and Mikhitarian missed many games, mind you. It's academic Iwobi would have been the next player in chance created due to his starting position on the field.
T

You think Pele never missed chances? I'm telling you Aubameyang shot per goal statistics was something like one shot, one goal. Aubameyang ended up that season as the league's top scorer. Even Lacazette scored his own fair share of goals.
The koko be say Iwobi's chance created were not good enough to translate to assists. See how Saka was dropping his assists this season. Even Willock.

If creating chances was that easy, football statisticians won't make a big deal out of it,would they?

Iwobi has also created 23 big chances in the premier league! Would u call that "no big deal" too??
I have told you how the computer calculates chance created. The so called big chances simply means the player gave the pass that lead to a shot.

Deconstruct this with the position he played for Arsenal as an advance midfield player, then you will realise there's no much to talk about.

Mind you, this guy was feeding the deadliest striker in Europe at the time. Auba's shot to goal ratio last 2 seasons was phenomenal. At a point he was on one shot one goal during Arsenal's 22 goal run.
If you're feeding such a striker and you're not hitting more than 4 assists then something is wrong somewhere.

In his last two season at Arsenal,he created a total of 76 chances !
Don't let those numbers deceive you. Putting a cross into the 18yard box counts as creating chance. Infact, passing a ball to a guy who beats 5 players before striking wide at goal or over the bar counts as chance created. Mind you, Iwobi played very close to Arsenal strikers so this is not really an achievement if taken every parameter into context.

Why are u judging Iwobi with his stat at Everton?
What happened to the many chances and crosses he delivered at arsenal? He was their best chance creator after Ozil while he was there..
Even this season,he managed to create 2 big chances in the EPL..

@ your last paragraph, you clearly don't watch our fullbacks at club level.. Maybe you can indetify one or two of them that are very effective in attack at club level..
You want us to dump the AM role and try and play like Liverpool with two CM when we don't have fullbacks that can do the job...
What many chances did Iwobi create at Arsenal?

Nathan ake is not expensive as far as defenders are concerned

Who are the young guys pep should give chance at city ?

I am sure you watched a 19 year old Eric Garcia doing well with his little time under pep

So I don’t know the young guys you are talking about

Did you watch young zichenko also play as LB ?

It’s either you no Dey watch ball or you just want talk
Pep is no genius in this regard. The man has spent £400M in buying just defenders alone in his time so far in Man city.
Any half Wit on that sort of money can replicate his body of work building Man city defence.

What exactly is he doing with Ake, a left footed center back when he already has Laporte? Can he play 2 left footed players in center back?

I did this back in the days as an alter boy. I recalled the parish priest instructed us to cast a pillar in the alter section and attendance was mandatory.
O boy, I couldn't finish turning one bag of cement mixed concrete with severe back and neck pain. The day got worse when a 10 inch steel pipe lost balance and crashed on my head. I saw my young life flash before my very eyes.

Till date, I respect any labourer and don't fail to tip them after working for me. I don't really understand how their body survive the punishment under harsh weather conditions.

Reading Sky sports transfer portal and the information they are giving about Victor Osimhen transfer fee, is completely different from what l am reading here.

I did say cannot understand why we have so much conflicting information about this one transfer.

Strange a lot of drama before and a lot of drama afterwards agents dispute and the actual transfer fee.

Well with time these things always come out eventually.
Osimhen's transfer is not an African record. Lille got €45M + a potential €5M add ons. Also, 4 youth players valued at €5M each went to Lille. The sum of the entire deal plus add ons makes up to €70M.
This makes him second most expensive west African.

He's being dragged all over by Evertonians on Instagram. They are saying he's stealing a living, hoping he gone and never come back.
I think it's best he disabled his Instagram comments. If his growth is being hampered, should look at trying a different country.
Phones › Re: Hp Or Dell? Which Is More Durable by Barryseal:
Hp is great. They make fine laptops with great attention to gloss and aesthetics(eye candy). Their system components are readily available anywhere in Nigeria. Most repair technicians feel more convenient working on Hp systems (first hand experience).

On the other hand, Dell is a fantastic brand. They make sturdy laptops with a more professional looking cosmetic finish(not so eye candy) . Repair technicians are more like cats caught in headlights when diagnosing Dell laptops, especially the rare models (recently lost my 7559 motherboard and being asked to import the board because they are difficult to get locally).

But for personal bias, I still prefer Dell. Mind you, I sold my Hp laptop after 5yrs while I lost my 2yr old Dell motherboard.

Not really, the Algerian midfielders were too technical for him. Algeria has many technically gifted midfielders in the xavi, okocha, kanu range and if you are just average you will be caught out if you play against such a midfield. We dont have players like that. Iwobi is trying but he is not okocha or zidane. He tried his best but men those Algerian midfielders were too technical and creative for him. Ismael Benacer is better than Iwobi. Iwobi is good but put him up against a world class play maker and his limitations will show
Your points are valid. I think Rohr set the team up to attack from the wings using Chukwueze and Musa as the outlets thereby sacrificing creativity from the middle. The idea would have been great if we had serious upgrade on our full back options.
This is exactly how Liverpool set up, with highly productive full backs and dogs of war in midfield who snatch at every loose ball.

Funny enough Ismael Benacer and Gnabry were sent on loan and sold in place of Iwobi. This is one of the fall outs when old age and dementia set in with the big Weng.

Sounds quite exciting. I can't wait.
