The ill fated news filtered in this morning that the Highly Renowned, General Overseer of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Lion of Judah, worldwide, Prophet Elijah Olufemi Akinade, is dead.
Prophet Elijah, the gospel singer/preacher, according to a press release from the church, died on Saturday, April 30, during a brief illness in a private hospital in Abuja.

The man of God, the press statement stated, died at the age of 55 years.

Burial arrangements, according to the church, would be announced later, while condolence registers have been opened in Ibadan and Lagos branches of the church.
