Law does not allow anybody to live in somebody s house for free, even if given quit notice, you are still going to pay your rent before leaving

She has to take you to court before ejection. As for not wanting to live with landlord or landlady, it is a matter of choice. Many people prefer to live with owner because issues are easily resolved. And when you too build your own house , no tenants will be willing to live with you.
