For some jobs, with a masters degree plus as little as 1 year cognate experience, you can apply as an EH instead of GT and of course the age limit for the cadres differ

Even getting these small companies isn't easy. Tried that and nothing still.. Finished service since 2014 and kept teaching till 2017. Got to a point I had to stop as teaching was adding no experience in my field. I got frustrated at traveling for interviews then without getting the jobs to an extent I'll see employment opportunities online and don't bother to go for it. Now local man is past the age for GT. It's really a tough one but seeing some posts on here, I'll pick up from where I stopped and continue to bliv I'll get something good.

Please do pick up bro, I have also been frustrated like you, I have travelled for tests and interviews so much that I don't tell my family members about it anymore. I wanted to quit, but I met a senior in late 2017 who encouraged me to keep trying, he will send me job adverts and everything, I kept trying, I left teaching and struggled my way back to engineering. I kept leaving my comfort zone and learning, this was actually my last shot at a GT job because of my age and then APL showed.

The senior who encouraged me also had a similar experience,but just between 2018 and now, he had worked for GE and now in TOTAL. Bottom line is never give up, I will advise you to get a masters degree to boost the age requirement. NEVER GIVE UP BRO

I will try bro, l studied Civil Engineering.

I studied Civil Engineering too and since I finished NYSC in 2016, I have gone from smoking fish to teaching to working in two engineering firms.
Teaching was easier as it was less stressful and the pay is fair compared to the 2 engineering companies I have worked with, but the experiences i have gathered are invaluable.

Great bro, I don't know what you studied but if you can move into your industry with one of these small companies and gain valuable work experience in the main time. Most times teaching don't give you much experience, unless you want to work in the academia

They collect huge contracts from the government at inflated prices, they have you do everything and yet they don't want to pay you a respectable salary.

It's not even all this SMEs, I'm talking of huge Federal and state projects, yet all you earn is peanuts. Once I leave this company, I'm never working for a Nigerian man again.

No boss is happy to owe salaries, it shows all he has built over the years is crumbling.

There are bosses happy to owe salaries. Right now in my company,we are consultants on at least 2 Federal roads and it will interest you to know that we sometimes go 3/4 months without salary. When government releases money, my boss will clear the backlog of salaries and divert the rest for personal use, till the day another money comes from the government.
This is a man who claims over 6times the amount he pays me and others from government. Yes, over 6 times, I have seen several certificates he raised and I know how much I earn. No extra bonuses and we risk our lives traveling everytime, there is not even site allowance, it is that terrible.

We have a pathetic set of coward youths, who only hide behind keypad to abuse people. I have spent about 30years in Ilorin, and all I can tell you is Bukola Saraki is shameless. You were Governor for 8 years, senator for 8 years and you couldn't build yourself a house.

From reliable rumours, most of his companies are financed by his personal money. He just sets them up for popularity and keeps funding them while his family members swindle the companies. He is more of a politician than a business man

Well, I'm an engineer not a doctor. I don't know if they have, but they should cos the snake is pretty common in Nigeria, 70% of the snakes I've seen are of this specie

Very fast snake specie, I've killed two in our compound. It is highly venomous and unless antivenoms are taken fatality is 100%. It's a Mamba from what I've read
