TV/MoviesRe: Mikel And Gerald Evicted From The Guilder Ultimate Search 2021 by Baselm: 4:46pm On Nov 01, 2021
The Mikel guy should be arrested by the police after the show, he might be a killer.

GERALD was so unlucky, They should give them a task that would show the obvious weaklink consequently. Gerald was the energy of the show. Toke was just making her rules to get the boy evicted.

Toke is a misfit for the GUS and it should be aired daily to keep viewers attached

Most of these doom people are in their 20s, doing nothing but wail and pray for Nigeria to fall because they don't like a 78 year old Buhari who has enjoyed Nigeria all his life and even when he dies will be given a state burial. They have forgotten they are the ones who would live with the repercussions of whatever they make of Nigeria.

You can demand for good governance, social amenities and all without being an enemy of your country or making it look worse than it already is. Buhari or whoever is the president is not Nigeria, they can always be kicked out.

He had 16 goals for Nigeria, Osimhen at age 22 already has 8, Iheanacho at 25 has 11. I don't see what he has to offer those boys

you people should allow this coach to do is job he is the one in charge not you, if messi 34, ronaldo 36, cavani37 ,Suarez 34 are all in their national team I see no reason why ighalo who is 32 can't still be drafted into this squad. Besides he is in great form for is club and is a seria scorer for super eagles.
We will be going to the next stages of worldcup qualifiers were we may meet a two legged dread ties with either Algeria, Egypt or Senegal this kind of matches is crucial what if oshimen or ihenacho get injured what next let allow this coach to do is job . he has qualified us for 3 major tournament without the calculators he is an experience coach who has coach some African teams in the past so he know what he is doing. Ighalo is a brilliant addiction he can bully defenders something our present attackers has not put on show since the qualifiers. Kudos genort rohr
If Osimhen and Iheanacho gets injured, there is Onuachu, Awoniyi , Emmanuel Dennis and others. He has had his time, his time is over.

They will attack this post. A vast majority of Nigerians are only happy about negative news about Nigeria and that is why the media sells it. If you had posted how Nigerians live in holes and on trees, eating each other, you would have gotten more approval from the never do good, never see good, always complaining without Knowing the solution Nigerians.

Please, let this man enjoy his old age. Is your mother still ready to have sex with him if he is interested?

He is just exercising his body. I don't think your mother cares about his sexual life anymore.

If you want him to stop, reduce his allowances.

I'm having a girlfriend which is 29yrs and I'm just 23 years, We both love each other to the extent that we don't even knew the time we start the relationship... pls I need your suggestions here...

Please moderators help me to move this thread to front page so as to get more positive suggestions.
People in advanced countries do this, but over here it is not advisable. Would you be fine if by the time you marry, your wife is past her fertile years. Can you afford IVF, or pay a surrogate mother or would you be fine adopting a child? Those westerners have several options to natural reproduction, so marrying a old woman doesn't matter.

They don't feed on respect like we do. An African man would love some respect from his wife. Nigerian ladies are also known to be exploitative and highly demanding.

Most likely she is exploiting your naivety now for you to be thinking marriage at 23. Enjoy your youthful years, don't go and enter one chance.

I have never posted myself in my car before, I hardly post on my status, I use the same WhatsApp profile picture for 2 years now, I haven't posted on Facebook for over a year, IG since 2016, it still won't stop them. However, I notice on few days I post pictures, the billings will come from all corners of the world. Like, they just remember you are alive and start billing you.

Everyday someone is seeking one financial help or the other. I have never lived my life asking people for money, I always try to work hard and earn my living and God has been faithful.

I believe people are intentionally trying to take advantage of givers.

I am a natural giver too and I have always been giving, but with this new trend of social media beggars, it is becoming overwhelming. You connect with one old acquaintance and next thing is taxing. To the point I don't like using my WhatsApp anymore, it is overwhelming.

As a civil engineer, if you really want to gain valuable experience, find a civil engineering consultancy firm and apply. Cos you have HND, they can take you as a TO, but chook eyes for everything wey dem dey do, in one or 2 years, you will be very experienced.

Construction companies don't give the best engineering experience. The best engineers are often at the consultancy firms
FashionRe: Man Tells Sanwo-Olu To Introduce Mode Of Dressing For Ladies In Lagos (Photos) by Baselm: 8:46pm On Oct 13, 2021
The man is just one of those Gen X who are so focused on irrelevant things. Why go about snapping a supposed indecently dressed lady on a Monday morning. He missed all the bad roads he could have called the Governor's attention to, the school age children roaming the streets and other more useful things the Governor should address.

However, people should be encouraged to be decently dressed. most of the comments are normalising immodest dressing, which although is a personal choice, it definitely has effects on the society.

You don't dress sexy and not expect the people seeing you not to think about sex, I mean how does it look sexy without provoking sexual thoughts? Different people would react differently to the sexual thoughts too.
What used to be underwears are now worn as outfits. She wore what ladies used to wear under their school uniforms in my secondary school days, some wear tights and call it biker shorts, are you a biker? These are still very modest compare to what ladies wear around.
EducationRe: Brutal Flogging Of Students: Kwara Govt Opens Probe, Suspends Madrasa Leader by Baselm: 7:35pm On Oct 10, 2021
I knew the parents will say they are in support. It is a common thing, religion truly is the opium of the poor, the same Alfa wouldn't order for a rich man's child to be flogged like that even if he/she commits the same offence. I believe children should be disciplined and can be caned when necessary, but these ones didn't even show any resistance which shows they are sober, minimal punishment would have sufficed.

Nice move by the governor, religion radicalism should be prevented by all forms of government.

Find a way to remove it, else you will have to stop at every police checkpoint and waste time explaining to unreasonable folks.

Naturally u are a very big liar. Who are u feeding those statistics? Google is ur friend. (Let me shock u as a Chelsea fan , Mikel was one of the key players that gave us our first champions league trophy) go and check! He wasn't doing it from the bench
That was because AVB was sacked midseason and Di Matteo came in, that is always the time he starts for Chelsea(Whenever there is midseason coaching change).was he a regular starter earlier in the season?

Go back to the Atlanta Olympics and tell me how many players can bring a team back from such a hopeless situation to a beautiful win...
Comebacks are some of the beauties of football. Atlanta 96 was an under 23 tournament. In the Super Eagles team itself, what was Kanu's main highlight in his many years of play from 1994 to 2011
SportsRe: Mikel, Okocha Or Kanu: Who Was The Most Successful Nigerian Player by Baselm: 5:13pm On Sep 16, 2021
Niyinficient:
OP.

This your own opinion and it is not objective....you were quick to pick the statistics for the various players you have listed according to your preference...i.e your personal like.

Now in terms of rating....i would rate Mikel as the most succesful of them all, followed by Kanu and lastly Okocha. This is why.

First you need to apologised to Mikel for saying he had added nothing to the Nigerian and the Chelsea...this is really really absurd and appalling to say.

let me start with Chelsea...Mikel played key parts in all the his triumphs with Chelsea...the 2007 cup agasint Arsenal, did you watch it? The 2009 league success, did you watch it? as well as other triumphs. Specifically, if you watch the 2012 champions league and you could say Mikel did not bring anything to the Chelsea team, you need to ask for forgiveness....it was a defensive triumph for the blues and Mikel played a key part, most specifically in the semi-final and the final....football pundits round the world praised Mikel for role in the game that Chelsea had to defend from start to finish. If Mikel was that useless and brought nothing to the team....why did the various 12 coaches that coached the team from 2007 till 2016 always have Mikel in their part? Some one played ten solid seasons in a top English club and despites the various players that were bought and sold for his position and you say such person brought nothing to the teamhuh This is pure hatred

Now to the National team...Mikel did well for Nigeria, he might not be the flaboyant and play-to-the gallery type of midfielder, but he played his roled very well, with sleek passes, defensive works, and goals when needed. In 2013 Afcon Triump, all statistics favoured Mikel to be the best player of the tournament ahead of Pitroipa, but French and English voting wahala robbed him off that glory....

Austin Okocha was my childhood footballing hero...i wrote several poems about him....but now, i know better, Okocha was more of a show baller than a team player....when i rewatch Naija old matches and see what Okocha was doing, if he does that in modern football, he would have rotten on the bench...dude would dribble and dribble and would be blind to his number 9 for the final passes...which on most occasions left his strikers frustrated...in club football, what did he achieve? compared to that of Kanu and Mikel ? Remember our loss to Denmark in France 98, kai...i nearly wan die....Okocha was just playing to the gallery and this was so evident!!!! In Tunisia 94, he put up a good show for the team but the likes of Amunike, Yekini, etc were ahead of him in terms of performance...at the '96 Olympic...Kanu was definitely the star man..Okocha was a fantastic individual player than a team player.

To Papilo, he is a combination of Mikel and Okocha, has got the goals, the passes, the dribble, the individual and the team plays! Kudos to the big man for Shining at AJax, Inter, Arsenal, Portsmouth and Nigeria...its unfortunate that he has no AFCON goal and not AFCON goal medal.

Now my rating

Mikel; Won 1 UCL, 1 EL, 2 EP, 3 FA, 1 League cup, 1 CMS, 1 AFCON
Kanu; 1 OG, 4 Eredivise, 2 EP, 1 EP, 1 SP, 1 NPFL, 2 FA, 1-U17 WC
Okocha; 1 OG, 1 AFCON, 1 intertoto cup, 1 Saarland Cup, 1 Oberliga Südwest, 1 Prime Minister CUP, 1 Ataturk cup, 1 Trophée des Champions,

Most Successful is
Kanu
Mikel
Okocha

Most Flamboyant
Okocha
Kanu
Mikel

Best Team Player
Mikel
Kanu
Okocha
Okocha is the least team player by your reckoning, yet he happens to start games more regularly for club and country than the others who were mainly impact substitute players throughout their careers. He also was a captain at both club and country in his playing days.

Records and laurels are hugely considered when it comes to considering a player as one the best, or the best. You picked okocha and that's your opinion, which we've got to respect. Same okocha never won caf player of the year, he was one of the reasons we never made it to d quarter finals of USA 94 with his wasteful dribbles against Italy. Kanu is more result oriented. he's got scintillating skills on d ball and most times his moves creates goal scoring chances, hence his laurels. Op, u did not add uefa champions league title of 1995 to his laurels. Abi youve forgotten he came in from d bench? Same ajax team with finidi led by van gaal. Yes, my opinion, and yes again, Kanu is d greatest player of all time in naija. He performed back to back even after his heart surgery. If and when we talk about fanciful football, okocha is d highest, and most times fanciful plays do not generate result. Asides being the greatest in my opinion, kanu is among d few Nigerians that had long footballing career abroad. Okocha didn't live up to d talent deposited in him.. African blood too much in am.
Yet Okocha was a 7time Nigerian footballer of the year, Scored more goals for Super Eagles as a MF than Kanu who never scored an AFCON goal, 2 times BBC African footballer of the year among others. Kanu had more club trophies than Okocha, but playwise, Kanu was a super sub for most of his Super Eagles career and his highlight was way back in Atlanta1996
SportsRe: Mikel, Okocha Or Kanu: Who Was The Most Successful Nigerian Player by Baselm: 4:58pm On Sep 16, 2021
Mikel was never a regular starter at Chelsea under all the coaches. He only gets regular starts when there is a change of coach midseason and the new coach tries to change things. Once a new season starts he returns to the bench.

The likes of Essien, Ramirez, Oriol Romeu, Diarra, Van Ginkel, Meireles etc kept Mikel benched one time or the other.

I honestly don't get the Mikel hype from deluded fans. For super Eagles, Mikel playing days were the times they played some of the most eye sore football.

Even Mikel and Okocha both know it's Kanu Nwankwo.

Kanu was a very balanced and valuable player. It was either he scored in a match or assisted to get a very crucial goal. He did this in Ajax, Arsenal and even for the national team.

Till date, no player can match Papilo's record. He was just balanced!

It's all emotional blackmail. Ladies will misbehave and still want to be treated like the victim
