Hello all 2016 PCMs, you can now reprint your green cards from the NYSC portal to cross check if the callup number sent to you via sms tallies with the one on the green card. I just checked mine and everything seems to be in order now.

Mr. Ikengawo I don't know if you have ever been to the troubled areas, but I can tell you this because I am from Michika in Adamawa state now in the control of Boko haram, soldiers in the fronts aren't given better weapons...they have just two magazines (60 rounds) given to them....most of the weapons are locked up in the armoury and they are not allowed to use them when BH atttacks, in some instances the GOCs often gives the order for the soldiers to withdraw (as was the case in mubi, michika, and gulak)......this are all my community.......I cannot give you detail account of whats happening here....but if interested you can contact me privately please

The BRI do not use the M16A4. Standard issue in this conflict is the Galil Ace rifle and Tavor CTAR-21, same weapons used by DSS teams and Nigerian Navy SBS operators in the NE. No M16 is being used at all.
