We in the north tell u dat innocent people are being killed by d JTF and u are some where unknown abusing our religious and political leaders with no consideration. Why is it that some people allow their short sightedness to lead their gifted brains and hearts?

What do u know about what the Nigerian military can do? Ask people in Odi and zaki biam, ask people in maiduguri, ask people in seirra leone and liberia.

I was a banker in maiduguri before i transferred out, JTF killed a friend in his corporate dressing and burnt his car wth his corpse in it. Another colleague in corporate dress on a monday morning was dehumanised by d JTF on his way to d office, beaten, man handled and threatened to be killed just like that. So mr. Man, just keep quiet on issues u dont know ok.

70% of d pple being killed by d JTF are innocent people, some in the presence of their families at their homes just like a GTB staff that they killed in the presence of his wife and kids before he could even identify himself while his wife kept teliing them that "he is a banker".

Hmmm...it shall be well with the unjust sacked guys. I fear that justice may not be done...not in Nigeria though

1st, u didnt define boko haram correctly, BOKO means western education or fake education.

2nd, your examples of education should all go to technology. as u rightly said, the arabs excelled in some aspects like medicine, algebra, astronomy etc. all these are not western education and therefore enhancement upto producing cars, guns, bombs, cellphone etc are not western education but TECHNOLOGY which the boko haram are not against.

3rd, their demand of sharia in some state differs from your presentation. practicing and imposing shariah on muslims is not thesame as imposing islam on non-muslims. the boko haram never said that shariah must be imposed in Nigeria but in some 12 states dey say and that will not stop other religions from running freely in the states.

4th, u said boko haram members were not killed for any reason rather than they killed innocent people, that is not true brother. i was in Maiduguri, in my posh and comfortable office when the news of 19 boko haram members fatally shot for not wearing crash helmet on motor bike by the joint security operation in Maiduguri reached us. the members were on their way to the burial rite of their dead member and the state did not give any official apology to the members. this is how the deadly uprising by the members started.

5th, poverty is not the issue, cos some of the multi millionaires. illiteracy (western) is not the problem cos some of them are graduates in different field even wth some having masters. we can remember a one time commissioner in the state was among the members summarily executed by the trigger happy policemen.

the only solution to this boko haram problem is for the government to be just. i pray that the Almighty Allah/God brings the wisdom to the authrities to solve once and for all this problem so that Nigeria will not be like Somalia and co.

guys, dis aint PDP politics. there is always rule of engagement, what is d rule here when dey dont actually know who is their enemy?
i see innocent civilians suffering in place of boko haram, dats just it.

i stayed in Maiduguri since June 2007 before being transfered Out in May 2011, i knw hw civilians suffered for the incident and even last 3 weeks after d killing of 3 soldiers on a sunday night, a colleague of mine who is a management staff in reputable bank was maltreated in his expensive suit by d soldiers on a monday morning on his way to d office. dey stopped his car and asked him to do frog jump and also beat him while calling him names like boko haram member even though he is not even an indigene of Borno state.
i knw how d security guys treat d civilians including d old. we are Nigerians, we knw d black history of our security agents maltreating fellow CITIZENS and dts wts gonna happen in Maiduguri.

there are alot of Hausas in here but we naturally dont talk much or rather we are mostly introverts. most of us visit different sections but just to read and reason or laugh about other people's postings.

in my case, i averagely spend nothing less than 3 hrs on NL daily. i visit only recent postings and pick any attractive topic to read but hardly contribute unless occassionally.

most Hausas like myself stopped contributing since in most cases, we read only reign of abuses and hatred from many posters when d topic relate to north/hausa.

what goes around, comes around. what u guys did to d north during presidential election is hunting u back. we all where saying dat PDP did not rig for GEJ, why all d noise abt PDP rigging now?
