MedicH: The bolded is not more than 20% Nigerians. The rest are living in abject poverty, misery, penury and hopelessness. Despondency stares the majority in the face and there's nothing they can do about it. Me self I'm tired.
I don't understand how do you say they are living in poverty yet they have money to buy data to grumble online. I hope you know what poverty is. Someone will come online to beg. I wonder where he got the money to buy phone and data. The problem with the so called grumblers is that they want to live above thier means.
So I had an appointment which made me come to school early today, after that I headed to my class, as I walked in tears dropped my eyes, the memories of how crazy my class was during my undergraduate in Naija just came to my mind.
Take a look at a class and washroom and see the difference in the garbage we have back home. A school with every amenities u could ever think of,, name it . But in 9ja all we do is to glorify politicians that are illiterate, incompetent, corrupt and clueless, imagine the kind of president we have in this 21st century coupled with the cabals, how do we move forward?
Let me not talk of TRIBALISM AND ETHNIC BIGOTRY sef.. Well I won't say much, I am happy I left and I am cool but winter will soon come I will only think of Naija if I wanna come to see my Mum and siblings.
We need to do better in that country. Imagine a country with educated elites and see who is ruling us. And worst of it is that many Nigerian youths focus on irrelevant things probably scared of being picked up if they talk. If our government was responsible and accountable we would have had a better place.
Most times the weird and barbaric news I read here its saddening. It wasn't as bad as this when GEJ was in power but we won't accept the truth.
Say whatever u want to say but it doesn't concern me until I decide to come home briefly, I am only speaking for the good of all. May God help Us.. Peace!
Congratulations you are now in Canada. Make the best of it and please do not do Invictus Obi there and spoil the chances of others. Just study hard and make the best Of your career there.
Dagah2: With their size and no international support, they held the other regions hostage for 3 years, with their miniature size they have proven to be the most resilient. And in conclusion, the deserts of the north is as useless as the letter P in psychology. Come to think of it, the whole landmass you're trying to portray COULD be mostly deserts and that small sized region you are stroking the oasis. Size doesn't matter in everything.
At bolded: With their size and no international support, they held the other regions hostage for 3 years, AND ENDED UP WITH KWASHIORKOR AND BERIBERI. WITH OVER 1/4 OF THE POPULATION WIPED OUT. You be proper mumu
Earthquake1: Nigerian youths don't know anything about this because this is not Tacha
Haaaa you get juju oh. 590 likes and me too join add to am. The tin dey vex me but as e dey so, e hard for me to unlike the post. Hennn. You be jazz man. For real
JasonScoolari: Even though he builds MECCA, San Siro, or Construct the London Bridge in his home town, He is still IRRELEVANT to sane Nigerians.
Surprisingly, Tacha who was unknown 6 months ago is now more RELEVANT and talked about than the affidavit daura drunkard.
Buhari is actually relevant to we sane Nigerians. The bolded just explained how dvmb and insane you actually are. Lazy youth. Your mates are working hard making money you are here talking about an irrelevant person in an irrelevant and unproductive show.
Only children of hate aka IPOB will be here making noise. What has been your States progress since creation?
Additionally note that the progressive have arived and taken power. We are already taken care of the mess. Those making noise are part off the people we are phasing out that's why they are constantly bitter
raker300: Weep for those that have been ruling and have nothing to show for it
Be decieving yourself. Kaduna that has started paying minimum wage. Which of your SE States can even attempt that feat. Infrastructure wise which of your SE States can match Kaduna?
Shoodboi: This post is not about politics or whatever. It is not about Buhari and Jonathan or whatever.
It's just to allow people (Nigerians) understand what really happened. You can add more information that you know.
We'll be screwed if P&ID gets that money. All of us. From the pro-Buhari supporters to the pro-Jonathan supporters.
It's not about politics but you wrote many lies against buhari like the quoted below: "Sometimes, he did not even bother handing over to Osinbajo before leaving. Even when he handed over, the Aso Rock cabal still bypassed Osinbajo and flew documents to Buhari to sign while he was still receiving treatment in the UK."
If there was one thing gotten right by this government it was the apt synergy between the President and Vice. Buhari never left office without handing over to Osinbajo.
You also mentioned that Buhari put the country in recession.... C'mon. Even a pry4 student knows this was a lie. But why would you say so if politics was not involved.
Did you notice you never blamed GEJ even for his stupid action of setting buhari up with $800million out of court settlement. So why all this distractions if politics not invovled
KingOfAllIgbos: The initial deal was signed by a mystery person who couldn't have been a sick Yaradua (President) or GEJ (VP) who had no authority to do so...
The agreement to make the payment for defaulting on the contract (850 million USD) was signed by President GEJ.
Get your facts right...
I don't get it. What's your objective. How will gej sign an agreement to make a spurious payment without an investigation to why there was a default in the first place. Well unless the defaulting and payment was planed in the first place. The scam is even more obvious with gej.
BUSHHUNTER: Many people on the street of Lagos need this vaccination.
Yes you are right, the Abians that migrated to Lagos need to be sent back to Abia state for thier rabies shot. They should also quarantine them there to reduce Lagos State population
Fhemmmy: Yes, he should have known the right thing to have done and while i do agree that he put himself in such a mess, the government however, should just let the guy walk away because it is obvious that he is not as smart as he thought
Fhemmmy: While i sympathize with Sowore, he should have known better . . . There is nothing wrong in protesting and marching on the street on Nigeria against the government, however, even if a group is formed and called for a revolution even against any government, that is looking for trouble and for Sowore not to have known this, it means he wasn't matured enough to rule even a state in Nigeria. However, i hope the government will stop all these mess and allow the young man to go
No he must be taught a good lesson. So all of a sudden he is now young. This is someone who contested for presidency and is expected to constitutionally know what is right or wrong. Cmon. If he is saying he did not know what he was getting himself into then he is a big f00l
igbodefendercom: We are using common law not civil law, so the judge hasn't broken any rule. He has just created a new judicial precedent.
His decision can be appealed in the courts. But he has done no wrong to be reported to NJC.
Says who. That is gross incompetence. A case of treasonable offence treated with kids glove. You can see how the case of Nnamdi Kanu went based on poor judgement. The judge done enter this one.
bigfrancis21: Truth be told, there is this saying during my secondary school days that, if you are having problems with everyone around you, then you are the problem, not others.
I'm Igbo but I've observed that in several countries where mostly Igbos relocate to and reside, they will usually have issues with the locals or natives of that country. English-speaking Cameroon left Nigeria to join French-speaking Cameroon because they felt Igbos were too dominating, though they may not be having it any better currently in Cameroon. SA recently attacked Nigerians, mostly Igbos, due to the unruly behavior of some. We heard of India and China previously. Now Pakistan. We urgently need to learn how to be civil in our ways and behave ourselves. Being wealthy isn't a reason to become lawless and feel 'untouchable'. Someone just opened a thread on this topic yesterday about Nigerians, especially Igbos, not behaving themselves properly in foreign lands. We are extremely confident in ourselves and capabilities, yes, but then it gets too much to the extent that it becomes repugnant and unbearable. Some Igbos might think it is envy or jealousy when other tribes criticize us but yet fail to ask themselves why we are we, out of all other immigrants, the major targets in foreign lands? Whenever other tribes within Nigeria give us sincere or genuine feedback sometimes, we call them jealous or envious when we should be listening instead.
Here in America, it almost seems as though most Americans (whites and blacks especially) know the 3 major Nigerian tribes. Once they know you're Nigerian, the next question they ask is if you're Igbo or Yoruba. I recently met a black american who, upon hearing i'm Igbo, said, 'I thought they said Igbos are the scammers'. An American-born African former coworker of mine, upon hearing i'm Igbo, made a certain facial expression and when I asked her why, she said 'it's because of the things you people do'. When I asked her to mention them, even though I already knew where she was heading to, she was hesitant, probably because we were at work. Another one told me stories of how his African father had warned him explicitly to stay away from Igbos that, 'they are untrustworthy and are thieves', because of his past dealings with Igbos.
The strong culture to be rich in Igboland drives many of us to do certain things we shouldn't be doing and there lies the root cause of the problem.
I love your sincerity. You just won me over as a new friend from the North. Feedback is very important to positive development
Chimaokigwe: In Togo, the Togolese specifically went to the the shops of Igbos and singled them out for beating. Mind you, there are many Nigerians in those markets but only Igbos were dragged and assaulted.
So, the problem is the bad reputation Igbos are beginning to have.
No mind them oh. They thought they were tarnishing the image of Nigeria not knowing they were messing their tribe up
You see your guilty conscience... Did you see me mention drugs in the post you quoted? I don't blame you. Its the modus operandi in your blood and mind that manifested. Now fvck off.... Bloody Drug dealer..
topboss: As u can see, as a proud Igbo man, I see this from a very different point of view, as opposed to the racist and tribalistic narrative the racist, idiotic and foolish moderator is trying to push.
Let us assume the country is Pakistan, are they richer than Biafra?
Do u know Biafra resources is wat they are using in Britain, US, much of West Africa and Hausa and Yoruba are also using to answer billionaire. One thing is certain, Igbo cannot stand poverty, U block their business, get ready for war. Igbo will bring it whether u like it or not, which ever way u want it, u will get in in Nigeria. Let me just warn Hausa and Yoruba.
Chimaokigwe: I'm India, Igbos are hunted like animals. They would stop you if you're Nigerian and once they discover you're Igbo, they release other Nigerians and hold you.
India is Pakistan's neighbour and I'm not surprised this is happening.
Very correct. I told my South African friend that I no go show for South Africa again and he was beging me that the raid was actually targeting the Igbos from Nigeria. I was shocked how they knew. He said that every time they do ceremonies in South Africa they spray the rand around and step on it with no respect. But still I no go go back to South Africa
TSRC: I talk like Peter obi? Of course, we are both intelligent people. You expect me to talk like buhari and start rambling nonsense about cows, and one naijeria.
Look at the state of our economy. It has gone progressively worse. From the largest investment destination in Africa to the poorest on the west African coast.
That is abysmal performance. Any private company would have fired the president.
If talking like this means talking like Peter obi, then your president need to start thinking like obi so as to salvage Nigeria from its current position as the poverty and insecurity capital of the world.
Zombies worshipping a dimwit. The fact that we have a lot of you voting is why that country will never be great.
You see when a dull man is given an opportunity to talk he will start to feel important. That your fraudulent business is not moving doesn't mean the countries economy is down. Go and do legit business. There's no more free money. And stop ranting about.
TSRC: So in your mind buhati is light and everybody else is darkness. He likes Nigeria more than his critics?
Have you checked our economic growth rate and investment inflow just before he came to power? Was it buhari that created TSA, BVN and most of the mechanisms that aid transparency and business?
Cmon go and sit down. You talk like Peter Obi. You think common sense is all about taking gibberish. No one cares who created TSA or BVN. What we care most about is who implemented and enforced it. God!!!! you are so dull. Typical of dem dem. Non violent terrorist.
Cryomancer: Meaning Buhari's madness will soon lead to his doom. He refused the release of Dasuki and El-Zakzaky after a court order but nobody is calling him out over that. Now he wants to do same with Sowore and that is only gonna prove to the outside world the Tyrant he truly is.
