TheBillyonaire: This thread is not about Employment, it is about Fayose supporting illegality and Rufai had pointed out that there is a recording of Fayose planning and architecting election fraud. We did not expect Fayose to start crying, it was an opportunity for him to deny and clarify, but he went biserk and became childishly discombobulated.
If you can not think straight because of ethnic coloration of your mind, then you are not different. We are not blindly loyal in our tribe. What is wrong is called wrong irrespective of the culprit, but your tribe seem to condone actsedsd of illegalities when committed by your kindred. That led to the loss of Ilorin to Fulanis and is certainly leading to the loss of Lagos to Igbos.
I know you guys cry when we call Lagos - a no man's land, but that is the truth. An uncomfortable truth that MORE THAN 50% the land mass in Lagos belongs to non-Yorubas, therefore it becomes a no man's land. Now I am becoming the Offender. Just as Fayose interview wasn't about him yet useless Oseni made it personal about Fayose. I will call out the useless Oseni's sham employment. Fayose wasn't convicted of any crime, so useless Oseni had nothing to his stupid claim. If I were Fayose, I would sue him. As for Lagos, the owners of Lagos already showed they owned it last Saturday |

SmartPolician: Oseni Rufai is more knowledgeable than 99.9% of those who have the yeye journalism certificate. Politicians just want people to lick their feet and worship them. Unfortunately, Rufai won't do that for you. So, if you don't want Arise TV to grill you, turn down their invitation. Same dumb Oseni who was blabbing about Lagos belonging to the British? 😂 He's an empty head. All he knows is being rude. If that's journalism to you, then you need a check up. |

Politicians do not like being questioned and ridiculed. They think that stealing few coins here and there guarantees them respect.
Hell nah. Rufai keeps fucking them Fayose didn't cry. That's his voice. Fayose who was dishing it to Rufai about Rufai's traffic law crime which rattled Rufai Rufai Oseni just keep showcasing his stupidity and the fact that he has no journalism certificate which means his employment is a sham. Imagine someone who didn't earn his employment yet keep playing pope while being rude? Useless man |

How can you say that according to Nigerian standard, the last election was credible. What is "Nigerian standard"‽I want to know please I don't do party politics. I am from Rivers state and I voted apc for gov. and LP for pres. Even before River election came in, Tinubu already won the election. So what nonsense are you munching on? |

TheBillyonaire: Again, this thread is about Fayose, the silly Politician who defends a stolen mandate simply because our INEC President Elect is a Yoruba man. But he has forgotten that Jagaban is a known Drug Lord according to Reno Omokri, a Controller of Lagos Thugs, according to Atiku, an Irabiji man claiming to be from Lagos, according Chinedu GRV.
Your attempt to derail this thread using tactical stupidity will not work. Billyonaire can not be driven out of focus.

In fact, Yoruba left the whole Emir thing alone because he's a Gambari man. There was even a time when Fulani and Gambari were fighting each other over the Emir thing in Ilorin thus the Yoruba's infamous saying which was " Ti Gambari ati Fulani ba para won, ko sejo nbe" |

OyeofIkoTuN: You are the most wickedest liar I've come across in my entire life
In a bid to restore the control of Ilorin in the hands of the Yoruba people, Toyeje, the Baale of Ogbomoso and the new Are-Ona-Kakanfo, led an attack on Ilorin to expel the Fulanis but failed.
After sometime, between the months of March and April when garden egg (Igba) was ripe for harvest, another attempt was made by the Yorubas to chase Fulani people out of IIorin but failed again.
During this period, the whole land was already devastated by the previous wars and consequently there were no farms for foraging. Ilorin had also ran out of food, so both sides had no food to eat than garden egg (ìgbá) thus the war was named Mugbamugba.
The Yorubas suffered untold defeat in the Mugbamugba war.
They did not know how else they could fight the Fulanis who were expert horsemen with potent charms. Monija, the king of Rabbah and a mercenary fighting on the side of the Yorubas, fled to his town leaving the Yorubas to their fate.
To crown their victory, the Fulanis of Ilorin attacked all towns in the directions of Offa, Erinle and Igbona. The Olofa of Offa with Asegbe (his Ilari) escaped to Ikoyi.
Hehehehehehe Where's the historical fact to back your stupid claim? The ruler of ilorin when the British arrived was a Yoruba man Called Balogun Alanamu. Now I'm dropping names. The last Emir Moma had been defeated by the Yoruba Chiefs thus he ended up burning himself alive inside his Palace. Ilorin has an emir today because the British reimposed an Emir on Ilorin around 1900. The then Balogun Alanamu fought the British who were invading his territory and was exiled to Jebba after the British defeated him. I told you already it was the British arrival who stopped the whole thing because Yoruba had other things on their plate to fight. The Yorubas were in full control of Ilorin under Balogun Alanamu when the British under George Goldie attacked ilorin in the late 1890s. Of course the Yorubas fought back. In the end, the British sent Balogun Alanamu on exile while reinstating an emir because they wanted someone who would submit to them. Even the Emir there isn't a fledged Fulani but a Gambari man. https://www.iosrjournals.org/iosr-jhss/papers/Vol7-issue2/D0721518.pdf?id=5971 |

It is Fulani town .... It's not Fulani town. Does Ilorin sound Fulani to your brain? When the British came, they allowed the Oba and Emir to act as a form of government to help with orders since they can't be doing everything. Doesn't negate the fact that Ilorin is Yoruba town! |

I am a born catholic and stopped going to church since 2000 but If I ever decide to start going to church again,I rather join Jehova witness than all these church enterprises A.K.A Pentecostals Redeem isn't a political wing of APC. Adeboye had never preached about any political candidate on his altar. That's a fact. He prophesied about Presidents visiting his church and that happened. That was all. He has never campaigned for anyone. |

I don't understand why you brought Obi, Igbo priest and catholic church into this issue.
FYI I'm not igbo or catholic. You weren't specific. I thought you were insinuating that Adeboye was supporting anyone. Dancebreaker: It depends on circumstances. Economic support, personal attitude, ability, etc.
When people go abroad, most come to realise that they need to do well. It focuses their mind. In 9ja, without mentioning tribe, you see how well traders of a certain tribe do outside their region. It's got to do with being more serious and hustling more tenaciously once you migrate from the "comfort" of your home. Mostly anyway. Schooling in abroad is much easier than the rigour & stress of Nigeria universities. Just like I stated earlier, a student who's doing quite well in a Nigeria university will even do much better in abroad. This is something I have seen. Not once but several times. |
Education › Re: Second-class Upper Is Overrated In Nigeria By Deji Yesufu by Bashet: 10:04am On Mar 23, 2023 |
Dancebreaker: How did he then get into the university? Grades for admission to top unis are quite clear, no long leg. Top unis abroad for some course also require additional exams. By top uni what is its world ranking and US ranking?
Passing medicine and dentistry exams anywhere in the world is evidence that you are a top talent, so remove Medicine, Vet and Dentistry from it. Even Law, some science courses and Engineering in some 9ja unis. If you select the best in any environment, they won't represent the general population.
By the way, I am telling what I have seen. That question you asked I could easily have answered over 25 years already from seeing it. Well, I don't know quite much. I didn't ask much on it. He could have probably started at the basic. But generally speaking, schooling in abroad is much easier. A student who's doing quite well in a Nigeria university will do far better in abroad. |
Education › Re: Second-class Upper Is Overrated In Nigeria By Deji Yesufu by Bashet: 9:52am On Mar 23, 2023 |
Dancebreaker: Dude, not top foreign universities. Top foreign universities in the West attract the best students from across the world. What chance do you have to test yourself against students on national scholarship from Japan, South Korea, Brazil, USA, Canada, India, Russia, South Africa, NZ and so on at UI, Uniben, Unilag, OAU, ABU, UNN? In top 30 UK and US universities you do.
How many profs shaping body of knowledge and discovery get to teach in Nigerian top unis compared to top Western unis? How many Nobel Prize winners do you get to see in your lecture theatre or tutorial in 9ja top unis?
Oh boy, say what you know well enough and leave the rest. Don't generalise, biko. My cousin got admitted into one of the best universities in USA to study engineering. Someone who couldn't pass his jamb here in Nigeria. Did you even realise that Nigeria doctors from top Nigeria schools can compete well against UK and USA doctors? That's why there's massive brain drain from Nigeria by the Americans and Europeans. |
