So what do you intend to do about it? How can you stop your Igbo brothers from investing/living/committing crime in Lagos?

when the crime rate in oyo state a core yoruba state becomes lower than that of lagos the most populated state where many igbo live then i might take you seriously for now your just a fool.
PoliticsRe: Igbo In Fading Shadows ( Na Today?) by bashr8: 2:40am On Mar 19, 2012
Yes I'm very aware of that. Yoruba do not get a free pass from murder mobs of savage Northerners but it's mainly the Igbo that the Northerners hate. You know it and I know it.

keep deluding yourselves, more yorubas where killed than anny other group during the post election riot , infact aboks come all the way to yorubaland to kill you in your own land, fool. from ogun to oyo to kwara they have been slaughtering you , i guess you are new here to realise than .i dey laugh your stupidity.
PoliticsRe: Igbo In Fading Shadows ( Na Today?) by bashr8: 2:39am On Mar 19, 2012
igbo people are not running away from igboland the population there is stil about 30 million which is approximate of our total population, we just dont want them investing in your pathetic lagos. stop posting ignorant statements.
PoliticsRe: Igbo In Fading Shadows ( Na Today?) by bashr8: 2:36am On Mar 19, 2012
Please don't get me started on the crime rates in the East. We all know about the insane amount of armed robbers, fraudsters and drug dealers out there. The Armed robbers are one of the main reasons alot Igbo people have ran away from that place. They don't feel safe in the East!!!

i see you are new, better ask your yoruba brothers we can start pulling out statistics now and not beer palour rumours without source, oyo state have more crime than 2/3 southeast states , and more crime than lagos . donmt make me disgrace you here
PoliticsRe: Igbo In Fading Shadows ( Na Today?) by bashr8: 2:33am On Mar 19, 2012
what do you think you are doing ? We are trying to build bridges not break them,

Bleep bridges burn them down everybody should go back to their region ,nigeria should break up for good so that the yorubas can remain backward like they are now
PoliticsRe: Igbo In Fading Shadows ( Na Today?) by bashr8: 2:31am On Mar 19, 2012
there are more yoruba efulefus than igbos efulefus, all the igbos in igboland speak igbo but lots of yorubas in yorubaland cant speak yoruba and understand only english same with lots of yorubas in igboland they cant speak yoruba, yorubas should get off this thread even when we complain we are still better than you. there are more crime rate in oyo state than in the whole southeast so lets not even talk of crime.
PoliticsRe: Igbo In Fading Shadows ( Na Today?) by bashr8: 2:27am On Mar 19, 2012
this is not about who lives more in where it is about igbos investing all their money in igboland and no where else.

This is beyond Igbo-Yoruba.

I think that this is a Black or African thing. We would do this as well if we were in their shoes, I think.

i dont get their point i dont see us complaining about yorubas in onitsha ,aba,ph, enugu ,asba, etc, have you been to onitsha main market , that place is flooded with yoruba traders, go to eko awka in awka yorubas have taken over a large section. banks , teaching etc let me not even talk about ph and aba yet we dont complain , na only them get mouth to complain, Bleep them they should go f..uck themselves, i cant wait for this cursed nation to divide.i wish massob will start harrasing them like opc harras non yorubas, infact yorubas since they are tired they should start kicking out igbos in yorubaland that is exactly what we need to have igbos start investing in igboland only.

igbos are in yorubaland the same way yorubas are in igboland these dumb yorubas sould get off this thread and stop polluting it, these yorubas are all over onitsha ,aba and ph we igbos accomodate them in our land we dont harrass them in any way like they use opc to harras non yorubas yet these ungratefull dogs want to boast about accomodating people even when they dont contribute anything to the economy of igboland . ungratefull ofemmanus. meanwhile get off this thread it has nothing to do with you. your still poorer than igbo anyway even with our massive investments outside igboland.
PoliticsRe: Igbo In Fading Shadows ( Na Today?) by bashr8: 11:14pm On Mar 18, 2012
i agree with this post , our people have to stop this madness of building investments all over nigeria while neglecting igbo cities and towns. its pure madness.but am not afraid ,i know their eyes will open one day and when that day comes the rate at which igboland will develop into a first world nation will be alarming and will prove wrong the quote that rome was n ot built in a day. any igbo leader that still goes around preaching one nigeria should be stoned to death.

coscharis , zinox and all those top shots he mentioned do have offices in the south east.
Foreign AffairsEuropeans Or Arabs ? by bashr8(op): 8:02pm On Mar 18, 2012
got this from facebook.

... The western media/Zionism conspiracy is a means used by the Arabs to distract Africans from the ethnic cleansing and land possessions they are perpetuating. They take African lands and make their own kings, while the African is being daily killed ... they cry wolf wolf .. things are not are as bad as you think, the white man is blowing it out of proportion, until our very own is being destroyed then we discover that we've been raped by own delusions of shifting blames instead diagnosing issues by what its is and curing it. Africa is on Fire, I see no white man, all I see everywhere from Egypt to Sudan, Libya to Mali, Mauritania to Sokoto are Arabs and their descendants taking over everything in the name of religion and revolution, while the top notch religious leaders to pointing to the west and the media as the cause. We now live reality and being consumed by our ignorance in the name of God. Over 40,000 Libya black African were killed by Arab militias in the name of revolution and the white man and it's media is blamed ... The war in Sudan is not over yet, Africans are being killed daily .. This present war is worse than the slavery that Africa went through. by the way Arabs don't give independent, they take it over forever

CelebritiesTypical Yoruba Man , Dbanj Disgraces Don Jazzy On Ebony Magazine Interview by bashr8(op): 9:39pm On Mar 13, 2012
calls don jazzy his boy shocked

I have my own label called Mo’ Hits with my artists Dr. Sid, Wande Coal, Don Jazzy, D’Prince and K-Switch. I own Mo’ Hits and we’ve won numerous awards by the grace of God shocked shocked shocked

EBONY.com: How will you break into America’s entertainment scene?
D’BANJ: I’m bringing my culture, my music and preaching the gospel. We’ve been learning from America’s Hollywood scene and other areas in Africa because our continent is developing. We look up to the way you’ve built your industry and we try to do ours in the best that we know. It’s so good to see that Americans appreciate my music so that’s what I’m bringing, just original Africa.
EBONY.com: How did you join Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label?
D’BANJ: I had a concert in Dubai and when we pulled up to the airport’s first class lounge and a hostess ran up to me with a plaque with Kanye’s face on it, asking me to sign it. I said ‘I’m not Kanye West, I’m D’banj but Kanye West is coming? All eyes open.’ Then my manager spoke to Kanye, came back and told me ‘He’ll give you five minutes.’ I walked over -- as an African man I’m always prepared -- and I played my music ‘Stand Out,’ ‘Fall In Love’ and ‘Scapegoat’ for him on my iPod. Before we knew it, I’d almost missed my flight and he invited me to New York.
Coming from Africa I’m my own manager, I have my own label called Mo’ Hits with my artists Dr. Sid, Wande Coal, Don Jazzy, D’Prince and K-Switch. I own Mo’ Hits and we’ve won numerous awards by the grace of God. Being with Kanye for the last eight months and me leading a successful label in Africa, I’ve learned a lot and I believe people will see what we’re going to do. I signed with Kanye in June and that same month I won the BET Award for Best International Act. My New York concert isn’t done by G.O.O.D. Music, it’s done by Live Nation, meaning I’m already a moving machine. So who better to introduce me to the global world than Kanye West, a crazy genius?
EBONY.com: What is your chemistry like in the studio with West?
D’BANJ: Kanye doesn’t try to change you. He has great ears and great people working with him. I learned the way people do music in America is different, number one, the budget. You don’t have to rush a song, you can take your time. I was glad because I have a studio in my home but I thought I was doing too much. I’ve been working with everyone else on G.O.O.D. Music too and John Legend and I worked together in London recently. It’s been great experience, I just beg people to listen with an open mind.

alj harem:
And the yoruba and hausa man needs help from you all to feed ?

What are you saying, it is better you attack IBB and co that are parasites than attack the hard working people in those regions

Adamawa cows is not new in the market

Ofada rice is not new in the market

Ekiti and Kogi yams are not new in the Nigerian market.
yoruba yams dont look healthy they look sickling , anambra produces the biggest yams and apart from imported rice abakiliki remains the most sold and consumed rice in nigeria, even a lay man knows dat , its only in silly websites like this that ofada rice or whatever you call gains recognition.

no matter what sector you want to discuss the SE is still ahead, entertainment which is currently the highest employer of labour or is it banking, fishing, poultry ,vegetables , rubber , name it ,we dont have the biggest market in the world in onitsha  for nothing
PoliticsRe: Ss And Se Contribute 91 Percent Of Federal Revenue by bashr8(op): 4:03pm On Mar 10, 2012
alj harem:
we import 70% of the rice we consume not the food product we consume, get your facts right

First of all, lets ask ourselves what a typical Nigerian consume. (lets try to be mature here without any bigotry)

Rice, Yam, Cassava, Palmoil, vegetable oil, maize (corn and its different forms), meat, fish and chicken.

Now we lets say we import rice, 50 % of vegetable oil right (at least good assumsion)

Now food products like Yam and cassava, where do you think they grow in ?

Ota farm produces about 60% of domestically produced chicken

Adamawa, Kwara produce our meat. Lets be honest

Ondo, Kebbi, Ogin, delta etc produce the fishes

Our crudeoil we cannot consume, but some of our food we consume.

I would not be a hypocrite here, SE produce some of our palm oil and rice (abakaliki) but that is a very small percentage compare to Plantations of Palm oil In OAU and ofada rice which is even considered a delicacy by some Igbos I know.

Saying the SW contributes just 9 % even though they still contribute the same crude oil you contribute and the NC and NE nothing is very mischievous and disrespective to the hard working farmers in those regions
so na agriculture they use build abuja?

na agriculture money fashola dey demand more revenue for lagos abi or na agriculture money northern governors dey demand more revenue from?
na agriculture money they use they allocate monthly and yearly federal and state budgets?

all the billions and millions of dollars looted by out politicians monthly buying estates in dubai, london etc  na from agriculture?

my friend grow up , there are some people that own one single oil blocks that generate more revenue from oil than ghana ,sudan etc. how dare you compare oil revenue to that of agriculture.

https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-890480.0.html#msg10370837 go through this thread, you think oil is chewing gum
PoliticsRe: How North Cornered 80% Nigeria's Oil Blocs by bashr8: 3:54pm On Mar 10, 2012
just see how some southerners sold the future of their children for a a plate of rice. it will be difficult or almost impossible to recover those oil wells unless the country breaks up , but why is the north still very poor with all the wealth their elites have accumulated.
PoliticsRe: Ss And Se Contribute 91 Percent Of Federal Revenue by bashr8(op): 3:44pm On Mar 10, 2012
alj harem:
I think you should be silent. Where did you get your facts from ?

All this silly propaganda would not help anyone

It is well known in this country that one of our major export is from Argiculture which the NW, NE, SW and NC contribute

Or is it Crude Oil we nigerians have been eating all this days. Maybe Poundyam, and the meat from ofe nsala has come from crude oil.

If our only export has been crude oil, then when MEND started there bombing, the country should have stand still.

Abeg u people should relax with your propaganda

Moreover, I want to know what the SE contribute to Nigeria and which state is that.
my friend shut up , what agriculture are you talking about , do you know we import over 70 percent of what we consume ,where is the money generated from if not oil, as if all 6 region dont have agriculture.

its good the people of kwara and kogi have finally opened up , its obvious the middle belt will be shared amo ng the east and west because as soon as kwara and yoruba part of kogi joins the west there will be nothing left of the middle belt, the eastern igala and idomas can join the east ,its not yet clear where the tiv, berom ,gwari etc will join but judging from the recent blood sheds the berom and tivs have been having with the hausa fulanis even up till this morning its obvious they will never think of joing a hausa fulani dominated north vus that will be suicide and slavery. besides who no want oil so they will definitely want to join the rich east , jos will be rebuilt again wink
