ilugunboy: Biafra... It's an Utopian country of some deluded people that populates a part of Eastern Nigeria that speaks Igbo as language. The history before 1914 of these group is not well documented.oh they are deluded now , thought you want them to leave lagos alone, honestly some of you yorubas have mental issues. |

kayjegs: The problem we still have in Nigeria is that we are never sincere with ourselves. You will never see the Elite Igbo clamouring for Biafra. Please ask any Elite Igbo who stays in Lagos you know if he is really in support of Biafra now. And that he is ready to move to the East and start Biafra. Most the guys commenting here that are Igbos wont want to join in the struggle for Biafra. They can only post on nairaland and talk as if they are very patriotic. The Elite Igbos will just be laughing at these things. I dont want to sound sentimental here but sincerely if it was the Yoruba that wants to agitate to leave Nigeria, it will be successful because before they make such proposal, many plans would havce been underway and it would have gotten to an extent whereby when you ask any Yoruba person, literate or illiterate, Elite or not, they will say the same thing but Igbos would not do that. This is the problem. I am indifferent about Biafra, if it is the best thing to do now, then go ahead and plan it well but sincerity is never there. The so called Organizer abroad is using this to make more money. It is very simple. There are many funds for Rights activism, democracy agitations out there for NGOs which he just wants to benefit from and sees this as an opportunity to organize his Igbo brothers to achieve this aim. My advice to Igbo guys about this Diaspora guy when he comes, tell him to bring all his family along and stay on ground here to fight the cause instead of stying out there and doing this.this is the only sensible post , its not a planned movement and i dont even understand what they are doing in lagos when people in the east have no idea what is going on . if biafra is to succeed there's a lot to be done including sensitization before even talking about it . |

Prof Corruption:Some of ou have mental issue, there are people working on that already, let him go and defend himdself in hague. i dont know why it bothers yorubas soo much or is that you people thrive in a chaotic enviroment. i am yet to see one northerner , middle belt or niger deltan say anything about this but yorubas are all over the place crying . since when did gowon become oduduwa. |

Prof Corruption: Nothing summarizes the pitiable state of deluded cyber Igbo psyche more than the title of this thread. Empty chest beating when nothing is being done. These dudes are planning to take Gowon to ICC, yet the thread is created with a slamming "Igbo Youths Drag Gowon to ICC" Una neva jam. Perhaps they think ICC is Aba Magistrate Court where one nonentity from nowhere can just drag someone to score cheap political points.why are you so concerned ? is gowon your father? abeg face your front , even his people are not foolish enough to make such statements and defend a man who openly said an american life is worth more than a nigerian life. at least those igbos youths are trying to do something . how many past leaders have yoruba youths dragged or attempted to drag to face justice?. dragging gowon to ICJ is not just about biafra, it will send a message to all the past leaders and current ones that its no more buisness as usual. 1 Like |

advocate666:ok and the little the federal govt is allocating what have been done with it? dont forget abia gets multiple allocation from federal govt and from niger delta programme. the govt collects tax from the people. even if a state cant fund road construction you have banks and other institution they are willing to fund them and you work out a payment plan with them. i think T A or ji is neglectin aba on purpose because umuahia have good good road and neat. |
Politics / Re: Pictures Of Aba Roads: I Weep For My State by bashr8: 11:45pm On Oct 28, 2012 |
advocate666:one nigeria or not does not mean you cant have good governance and at least good roads , why should abia be the opposite of enugu even when it colllects much bigger allocation and is an oil producing state in the niger delta. what if nigeria never breaks up? aba people are already employing themselves via manufacturing and trade why cant the governor do its part |
Politics / Re: Pictures Of Aba Roads: I Weep For My State by bashr8: 11:41pm On Oct 28, 2012 |
advocate666:i still disagree with you , governors are responsible for their states at least by building and maintaining good roads, hospitals, airpots etc while civilians play their role by investing to create more jobs , your shouting federal govt while enugu with a lower allocation is already building another city , enugu golf city to be completed 2014 |

Fight for your freedom because no one else would do it for you. i disagree with you , blame TA oRJI and ORji uzo kalu for that , let them go to enugu and see what roads should be like.i have never in my life even during military regime heard that federal govt refused to release allocations to a certain region or state so pls enough of that |
