dayokanu: dayokanu:ignoramus adekunle never succeded with killing biafran troops ,the moment ijaws delared they no longer wanted to be part of biafra but nigeria adaka boko and his men fought biafran troops and they withdrew back since the owners no longer want. ask adekunle why he was removed the shamful man sacrificed 5000 nigerian troops in igboland a big loss to nigeria and you wonder why federal government made sure he never becomes relevant in his entire life. |
phreakabit:all because a mere small boy in the army barked at him |
yorubas have never tasted freedom like most other nigerian groups in the south thats why they dont understand what its like |
phreakabit:exactly from hausas to fulanis to edo to europeans and then to nigeria ,they have never had an independent yoruba nation with defined economy or trade route without a superior influence |
see*noevil:dont mind him adekunle was digraced by biafran sodiers killing 5000thousand nigerian soldiers in one spot that was why he was removed sharply ,but then we mst give the man kudos for shooting only women and children. son of a coward is a coward |
Rhino.5dm:is that why awolowo drank rat poison |
Negro_Ntns:a communist biafra is better than your cesspit nigeria ,after all china is a communist state. yesterday na wettie in yorubaland ,today its bokoharem people will keep dying in your cesspit |
Negro_Ntns:we are not the best ,we only live and let live and despise parasites and lazy people who dont want to work for a better tomorrow for all black man and humans in general, we are better than you cause we dont congratulate cowards that go about killing women and children for no reason other than ignorance and hate, keep draggin us backward we will all drown but you will have it worse than us. |

Negro_Ntns:as for onitsha it was the most economically viable city in nigeria if you know about the Royal niger company and today it host the largest market in the world , go figure and basically all igbo cities were ancient trading routes cus we were a nation of different states unlike you that were ruled by hausa fulani jihadist to clueless kings |
Negro_Ntns:nri, igoukwu , nsukka all predate that your ibadan and illorin which only became relevant when hausas conquered you, igbos had a clearly defined trade route. |

ekt_bear:the only oil in ondo and indeed the whole yorubaland (apart from lagos which is aworiland) is Yoruba and you sure have it in excess(oily soup) ![]() |
Aworis Youth Mandate under the able leadership of Adekunle bola has asked that all yoruba of non- aworis extraction leeching on their development and resources should start preparing to vacant the state. he explained that yorubas come to lagos to feast on their resources, contributing absolutely nothing in return. an Ekiti from his jungle village will come to Lagos to drag jobs for locals like security and vigilante, so it time to tell them all who are the real owners of Lagos. once the permission is sanction there will be a exodus, so it is better they start packing before the time reaches. as the say " a stitch in time saves nine." This is 21st century, NO TIME FOR PARASITISM ! even the abokis are contributing more than these yorubas, Awori people shall not stand and watch her resources pillaged and ravaged by these ingrates and rascals. he went on to explain that most crimes in the state are perpetuated by neighboring states especially Ogun people and ijebus. |
see*noevil:i disagree , there nothing wrong in allowing yorubas to fantasize about a past glory that never occured. even a kindergatten student knows about the royal niger company and its economic importance in nigerian history ,thats the first thing they teach children about nigerian history. |
better start vacating aworiland and go back to your ogun and oyo |
Negro_Ntns:that how yorubas actually look, ugly |
we know who is scared of breaking up ,it is the yoruba parasites that leach on everything around them, if they are dreaming of edo and itshekiri oil sorry for them , better start investing in that cocoa now. |
htajz:to late you should have warned him earlier Negro_Ntns:do you know what evolution is/ when we had kings yorubas were still running around Unclad in thier bush (which they have not developed up til now) by the time we evolded into republican nation the hausa fulanis conquered you and made you their slves from the north while the binis conquered yorubas and made you slaves from the south. nri remains the oldest kingdom in nigeria thousands of years before yorubas well turned to slaves by hausas. yorubas dont have a calendar, yorubas dont have a writting system that is because yorubas never evolved ,yorubas never had a trade network that is because they never had a nation of their own but were enslaved by hausas and binis. igbos never conquered their neighbours because they are peaceful and civilized people and were more interested in trade network , a peaceful and stable neighbour is good for buisness and at the same time were never conquered because they protect their boarders, go and ask hausa jihadist what happened to them when they tried to ,they abandoned their campaign and picked on the weakling yorubas . |
to negro nuts do you know what evolution is? when igbos had kings yorubas were still running around Unclad in thier bush (which they have not developed up till now) by the time igbos evolded into republican nation the hausa fulanis conquered you and made you their slves from the north while the binis conquered yorubas and made you slaves from the south. NRI remains the oldest kingdom in nigeria thousands of years before yorubas were eventually turned to slaves by hausas and clothed. yorubas dont have a calendar, yorubas dont have a writting system that is because yorubas never evolved ,yorubas never had a trade network that is because they never had a nation of their own but were enslaved by hausas and binis. igbos never conquered their neighbours because they are peaceful and civilized people and were more interested in trade network , a peaceful and stable neighbour is good for buisness and at the same time were never conquered because they protect their boarders, go and ask hausa jihadist what happened to them when they tried to ,they abandoned their campaign and picked on the weakling yorubas . |
alj harem:God punish you , i dont know why you yorubas think like imbeciles ,so because nurtw agberos are causing commotion in ibadan and lagos island GEJ should send soldiers to start killing spree on civillians including women and children living in that area? your are all pathetic and have never valued life cause life is worth nothing where you are from. |
shadrach77:yorubas top the list ,igbos are only trying to catch up |
lagcity:if you have issues to grind with GEJ or ijaws go and do that or open a thread let them come to you stop trying to drag us into your evil agenda which you will eventually turn back and back stab , why cant you people do anything on your own without trying to hide behind an igbo man , you tried it during the fuel subsidy saga it failed. go and drag with ijaws |
yorubas are the only group that live in slums in nigeria, shamless people |
Flooding has killed scores and dealt heavy blows to infrastructure in the southwest Nigerian city of Ibadan [Reuters] Floods in the southwest Nigerian city of Ibadan have killed at least 102 people over the weekend, with bodies still being recovered from the scene, the Nigeria Red Cross said. More corpses were recovered from affected areas on Monday and the Red Cross said the final figure of deaths could rise. "the death toll for now, is 102," said Umar Mairiga, disaster management coordinator for the Nigerian Red Cross Society. About 2,000 people have been displaced by the floods in the city, which lies about 120km north of the commercial capital Lagos, the official added. In Lagos itself, an ocean surge has left more than 1,000 residents in the Alpha beach area homeless. Strong tides from the Atlantic ocean have destroyed property and shops along the beach, which is normally a tourist attraction but is now littered with debris and wreckage. Moshood Alayaki, a resident, said the rising water had destroyed many livehoods. The area regularly experiences seasonal flash floods, which are sometimes lethal in Nigeria's overcrowded slums. "All of our properties are damaged. We have a shop there we are selling drinks, we have a lot of customers," he said. "Look at our road, everything is spoilt. Since I was born, I don't have any idea that the water will spoil like this." 'Irene effect' Desmond Majekodunmi, an environmental activist, explained that hurricane Irene, which killed dozens when it hit the Caribbean and the US east coast over the weekend, might have had an impact on weather across the Atlantic. "This is the storm season and you have what is called the ripple effect, so there's a strong possibility that the huge waves that were stirred up in the various arenas of the ocean where you're having these hurricanes and so on would eventually cause more larger ocean surge," he said. Prince Adesegun Oniru, the Commissioner for Water Front and Infrastructure Development in Lagos, also blamed the high waves and tides raised by Irene for the ocean surge. "It's happening because right now around the world, particularly in the Caribbean, we have cyclones going on, the hurricane Irene and what we're getting here in this part of the world is the ripple effect," he said. He urged people to stay away from the coastal area to avoid being harmed. "All we can do is to tell our people to move away from the coastal area and to stay away from the Atlantic," he said. The Lagos state government is taking measures to control the situation by putting beach guards in watch towers to monitor the situation. |
Negro_Ntns:yea right Soil erosion problems at the headwater of Ala watershed south west nigeria which drains a rural community north of akure, southwestern Nigeria, was investigated. The watershed was listed as one of the focal points of UNDP`s programme on Sustainable Agriculture, Environment and Rural Development in Nigeria. Baseline survey of the watershed reveals that the following environmental factors contributed to the observed erosion problems: Long, gentle to relatively steep slopes; low infiltration capacity; heavy and prolonged rainfall; highly erodible soils; inadequate and blocked storm drains and unplanned land use types. Indicators of soil erosion identified in the area also include: Detrital materials and coarse sand deposits; bare unvegitated surfaces devoid of top soil; stone capping of soil pedestals; exposed building foundations. These factors and indicators have combined to produce rapidly incising gully systems along some long slopes. At some midslopes and southern basal positions currently being opened-up for various developments, small and few storm drains have promoted sheet erosion and street floods that often inadequate built-up areas. On the basis of baseline data collected, good management practices and strategies for soil erosion control and conversation that also fosters social awareness on the problems were suggested with the hope that they will help restore the degrading land to a more productive hell about to happen in southwest http://pmnewsnigeria.com/2011/07/19/nigeria-danger-looms-in-lekki/ In the next three months, thousands of houses and residents abutting the Alpha Beach in Lekki area of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria will be sacked by coastal erosion by the ocean, warns the Lagos State Government. Already, in the last two weeks, the 20 metres of coastline has been lost to the ocean as the water from the sea is less than 70 metres away from residential area and several shanties abutting the ocean. Commissioner for Waterfront Development and Infrastructure, Prince Segun Oniru disclosed this on Monday when a team from the Federal Government came to inspect the level of damage caused by the recent flood in Lagos and submit its finding to President Goodluck Jonathan. The team was led by the Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Olusegun Aganga, while the Permanent Secretary, Ecological Funds in the Office of the Presidency, Mrs. Ibukun Odusote was also in the team. The team inspected the Mayegun Beach where several shipwrecks are causing coastal erosion in the area and the Alpha Beach faced with the same problem of coastal erosion. According to Oniru, who spoke at the Alpha Beach, residents in the area were in grave danger as the water from the ocean is fast approaching residential area and called on the Federal Government to do something urgent to safeguard the lives of people and properties. He said the only urgent solution to halt the coastal erosion was for the Federal Government to reclaim the lost area to the beach by creating an embankment like it was done to the Bar Beach to prevent it from eroding the Ahmadu Bello Way. “I cannot say how much it will cost to solve the problem of the beach but the Federal Government still needs to come to inspect the area to find solution to it. “You can’t fight nature but you can only appease it. We need to push back the water and protect the beach from eroding. If nothing is done, in the next three to six months, everything you see here (houses and people) won’t be here anymore. In the last two weeks, we have lost 20 metres of the coastline to the ocean. What we are witnessing at the beach is natural erosion and a consequence of the rise in water level which is a result of global warming,” he stated. He said the Alpha Beach which had been severely eroded and had damaged the roads needed urgent attention to save the impending danger. Also speaking, Aganga said the Federal Government would surely come to the aid of Lagos, saying that the state government had already compiled what it needed, which he said would be forwarded to the president for action. “We have heard that 20 metres of coastline had already been lost to the ocean in the last two weeks and that if we don’t do something about it, the people you see behind you here won’t be here anymore. We are here to assess the situation,” he said. Earlier, the team inspected flooded areas, including Oko-Oba canal in Agege; Aboru canal in Alimosho; Arigbanla drainage channel in Agege as well as Elere drainage channel at Pen Cinema. we know who the cursed people are in nigeria from flooding to erosion to cannibalism to poverty to massive crime rate , GOD HELP YOU PEOPLE |
