lawrence79: on what ground will they refuse u after going for medicals? I am thinking it ll likely be on medical ground, I ll suggest u take care of that b4 reapplying. if not u might get the same refusal, unless u know d real reason for ur initial refusal and work on it b4 appying again.

I was denied on the grounds that
"You have not been able to convince us that you are a bonafide student" which according to vfs is what they say when they have no candid excuse for denying an applicant.
I did everything by the book didn't leave any room for error and yet I got denied at the last minute.
VFS said they got way too many denials for a week or 2 cos they heard a new new immigration officer stepped in to handle applications for 6 weeks.
So bad timing for me and all the other numerous people that got denied during that period I guess.

I have one question for people that have used or are using the online application route though..
Do I need to upload a receipt for tuition payment right from the start or should I wait until the embassy asks me to do that.. cos as it is am due to get my full tuition refund from Seneca college by end of January so I can now use that to pay for my new school.

Hello Fislag I got denied for january 2014 after taking medicals and paying full tuition.
I am planning to reapply tomorrow now for a program in May. I noticed u talkin about online applications. I honestly didn't know its active in Nigeria already.
My medical results are still active for May and that will probably save some 3 to 4 weeks off the normal duration.
Considering all these factors, would u still advise me to go ahead with my normal paper application I want to submit tomorrow or change to online application since I hear its faster.

The usual. Freezing, restarting itself, screen not responsive to touch at times. The emmc checker confirms it too. I have the insane chip.
I've done a lil research myself and am thinking of installing maybe a new ROM with perseus kernel.
What do you think?

Deblow: Though mine says it has an insane chip, I have long flashed it with a custom ROM and I have been using it since over a year now. It won't die am sure. Instead of selling it off out of the fears of the sds I'll rather keep it till it dies, God forbid! Aftrall, life itself is all about risks. Don't human beings die?
