Mehhhn.. I passed by that place moments after the crash happened oo.. Saw the totally crushed Eko meat van and the truck that swerved completely off the road and blocked the railway just beside the road.. It looked like a horrific scene. Even train sef no fit pass. NYSC batch B corpers had our P.O.P today... was puzzled when I saw some fellow ex-corpers stil trapped in the stand-still hold up trying to get to camp to collect certificate oo. |
Idi Amin: It works most times, just keep yourselves busy and focus more on the future. Kissing and hugging everyday aint gonna put food on the table.Except if they're both P¤rn Stars maybe ![]() |
No offense but the lot of you with this mindset usually end up as cheating wives/husbands. What happens when your wife/husband job or other obligations carry them out of town for 6 months? The Konji go overpower you. A LDR is the best kind of training you can get for future situations like this Well, whatever works for one sha. Am in an off and on LDR thanks for asking ![]() |
mondi_cheeks: I don't think jails for this kind of crime are cosy...anyway I hope none of them drops the soapBad gal!!! |
Gen.ButtNaked:Someone has seen too much 'SAW' movies'. EMPTY BARREL!! |
ezeuba: They say all Muslims are not terrorists... But how come ALL terrorists are Muslims?...Whats your definition of a terrorist? |
Gen.ButtNaked:OMG!!! You just hit a whole new level of DUMB with this post. What kinda sick person is this and the peeps that liked his post? |
tdade: One thing that bugs me is how, when things like this happen, you see some muslims tweeting(and posting) 'islam is a religion of peace'. Now, I get their good intentions but I feel, they should instead go on rallies and week-long protests on how islam is a religion of peace so the extremists can understand their version of Islam - rather than sitting in a comfy chair and posting without action. Its gotten to a stage where those who believe in the peaceful version start proving how it is INDEED peaceful.I am a muslim and I won't lie.. You're spot on!! I just don't see how rallies and protests would help calm down terrorists.. It's almost gotten to that stage now that everyone lives in fear of them striking again. Aside that, I would like to point out that people of other religions now criticizing Islam and Muslims in general is only fuelling up the heat. And they are giving these radicalists exactly what they want.. to create diaspora and give them more reasons to strike. In the mean time, I'll keep doin my e-rallying and protesting. |
deols: No matter how you all try, he is and will continue to be called a NIGERIAN. It will affect how you are seen and how people relate with you.THIS!!!! THIS!!!! THIS RIGHT HERE IS GOLD!!!!!!!!!! This is exactly how we Muslims feel when y'all call all Muslims terrorists because of the actions of a few radicalists. Applying Logic, is it then safe to say that all Nigerians are terrorists as well?? |
kulgee001: This guy is a criminal/terrorist who claims he is a muslim. He has been in and out of jail before now. He has a criminal history. I don't know how you all missed that part.Beats me too.. It's always the easy way out for people to blame Islam when it comes to Terrorism. It's convenient for them. With the exceptions of a few sha. Anyways, the blame is still on the perpetrators of these heinous acts (radicalists) .. and something has to be done about all these! |
ola_pluto: STILL, the government, and importantly BBC, have refused to call it a Muslim attack. Muslim Council of Britain has already condemned it unreservedly. It is sickening how no one cared to listen to what the murderer said on video, rather focussing on what his religion is likely to be.Am done with religious arguments.. People always prefer to seek out a way to point out the superiority of their own religion. The hypocrites never realise how the action of a minute group cant be generalised on the whole population. Its a never ending sickness of theirs. They preach not to judge people buh are the first to judge billions of people based on the actions of a few thousand extremists. |
Kingsteve: Yes, I agree, it might weigh more, but it won't weigh like a 'Brick'I dont know about you man.. and I can only speak for myself when I say I love carrying a device that almost feels like paper in my hand. If I had to pick one btw light weight and a metallic feel, I'd go with the light weight. Best case scenario would be gettin both in one package. |
Kingsteve: Seriously, I couldn't really care less about all those specs, if it still comes with a plastic form factor.Calm down Mr. Place an argument when Apple successfully produces a massive device with a metal form factor without shattering the weight scale. Plastic is a neccessity on Samsung devices. Do you know how heavy a Note 2/3 would be if it had a metallic finish? |
texazzpete: Still doesn't change the fact that the iPhone is vastly superior to your Tecno phone when it comes to mobile gaming. You compare yer Apple to the lowest of droids with the lowest specs ever.. says alot about yer beloved Ah-poo :p |
ciphoenix: the second Note's battery has an impressive endurance recordWell have u seen how big the battery is?? 3100mAh of juice in that b! tch. Only 2 phablets can boast better than that. |
Kingsteve: Probably, a thinner 4.7inch screen...with the same 'ol OS, in the form of iOS 7 or whatever number they decide to tag it, and of course; the boring Retina Display!4.7" iPhone?? Not gona happen brah |
P.U.S.H:Errr, U saying iPhones is the baby of the house?? Guess that makes sense ![]() |
sushieater: It's now official, Samsung has more GALAXIES than the UNIVERSE!Their bank account says "B! tch Please" |
DEATH TO APPLE... And as for BB, CREMATION :p |
Texas.Cowgirl:Errr I think amma srick to my GN2 as well.. Expecting most of the software effizies of S4 to be released soon. Camera already got the voice command update.. Na one by one. And besides am not cool with a 5.9" display. That's already pushing the phablet limit... 5.5" is just about the right size.. ask folake ![]() |
jackbauersballs: Oje!Oh my three inched friend.. hate to break it to ya, but size does matter

wonlasewonimi: With BBM I have control over who I add. With Whatsapp, a mad man can add your number and talk to you.And that's what the 'blocking' feature is for. |
rman: BBM is better than WhatsApp IMO.That's the general concensus but if u can hand out your number to someone, how's if different from handing out your pin? The same way people can collect your number, they can also collect yer pin. *yells* Next!! |
akanniade10: Am a WhatApp user, buh having both on the same platform wouldnt be a bad idea. Will prefer BBM tho.Aesthetically wise, BBM is uglier looking. Their only advantage is the better emojis/emoticons. Hoping the BBM app on android is way better looking than on BB devices. |

Manchester United have appointed David Moyes as their new manager on a six-year deal. The 50-year-old will leave Everton to replace Reds legend Sir Alex Ferguson, who announced on Wednesday that he would call time on his illustrious 26-year reign at Old Trafford at the end of the season. Moyes is a manager cast in Ferguson's mould and will be tasked with maintaining the remarkable levels of success attained by his predecessor. He will start the job on July 1. Moyes said: "It's a great honour to be asked to be the next manager of Manchester United. "I am delighted that Sir Alex saw fit to recommend me for the job. I have great respect for everything he has done and for the football club. "I know how hard it will be to follow the best manager ever, but the opportunity to manage Manchester United isn't something that comes around very often and I'm really looking forward to taking up the post next season." Announcing his successor Ferguson added: "When we discussed the candidates that we felt had the right attributes we unanimously agreed on David Moyes. David is a man of great integrity with a strong work ethic. "I've admired his work for a long time and approached him as far back as 1998 to discuss the position of Assistant Manager here. He was a young man then at the start of his career and has since gone on to do a magnificent job at Everton. There is no question he has all the qualities we expect of a manager at this Club.” Chief executive David Gill said: “I’m delighted that David has agreed to join Manchester United. He has done a terrific job at Everton and has all the qualities that we are looking for in a manager to succeed Alex.” Owner Avie Glazer confirmed that Ferguson's recommendation had been crucial in the search for the new man. He said: "“The search for a new manager has been very short. Alex was very clear with his recommendation and we are delighted that David has agreed to accept the job. He comes to us with excellent credentials and a strong track record." Sir Bobby Charlton added: “I have always said that we wanted the next manager to be a genuine Manchester United man. In David Moyes, we have someone who understands the things that make this such a special club. We have secured a man who is committed to the long-term and will build teams for the future as well as now. Stability breeds success." Moyes becomes United's 20th manager, and the seventh Scot, joining a select list which includes Sir Matt Busby, Tommy Docherty and, of course, Ferguson himself. Moyes has gained widespread respect for his exploits at Everton, who he has turned from regular relegation candidates to European contenders. Moyes will get his first taste of the difference between managing Everton and the job he is now set to undertake in July when he flies to Thailand for the start of United's pre-season tour. It is not uncommon in the Far East for United staff to find fans waiting outside rooms, whilst it is almost obligatory for scores to camp outside hotels throughout any Reds stay. Moyes' first official game in charge will be the Community Shield against either Manchester City or Wigan at Wembley on August 11, which could have become Ferguson's 50th trophy. That statistic alone is enough to water the eyes of a man whose only silverware was the Second Division title he won at Preston in 2000. With Ferguson remaining on the board, his shadow will hang over the club for a good while yet, whilst decisions on a backroom team who have shared in so much success over the years, and who know the intricacies of United so well, will be interesting.

Dear Sir Alex, I cannot begin writing this tribute to you in any way other than expressing my deepest gratitude for making Manchester United the club and that brand that it is today, for giving me, and all the other Man Utd fans around the world a reason to rejoice every other year, for being a source of inspiration when we were down, and most of all for teaching us that the fight does not end when you lose, it only ends when you give up. What can I say, that hasn’t been said a countless times already by the greatest of players, managers and pundits? How many more accolades can one shower upon you, one of the greatest managers of all time, a legend at Old Trafford, hailed by Sir Matt Busby, and knighted by the Queen? What more could anyone ask of you, when you have beaten all the competition there were, conquered all that there is, demolished all the barriers that there could be, and have already laid foundations to the next generation at Old Trafford? Yet, here I am, a simple fan sitting in front of a laptop more than 7000 miles away, trying to write a fitting tribute to the best in the business. Success is sometimes overwhelming, and it does not last forever. But in your case, success was just a byproduct to excellence. You made the most important decision of your life when you chose to manage Manchester United, rejecting offers from Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and other clubs, who were keen on appointing you as their gaffer. Whether it was luck or destiny that Man Utd signed you, we would never know. And there started a love affair of the highest quality, one that is 27 years young, and is interlaced with many an interesting anecdote, many a fairy tale ending, and a lot of success. You taught us the value of trust, when you showed us that the trust you had placed in the young crop of 92 was not misplaced. You were responsible for giving us the ‘Golden Generation’ of Manchester United, comparable only to the Busby Babes. You showed that you can win, and win big with kids. You showed us that everyone are not alike, and everyone needs to be respected for who they are. Convincing Eric Cantona to return to football after his lengthy ban and making him the ace orchestrator when he was on the pitch is one of the many instances. While it may seem impossible to be protective of the players in the open while giving them the hairdryer treatment they deserve behind the doors, you executed it to perfection. You were a fatherly figure to the players, and in a way, to us, Man Utd fans all over the world. You had to manage the personal lives of the players as well as their professional lives, and you always did it to the best of your abilities. Out went the partying culture at Man Utd, and its place was taken by unparalleled success. Paul Scholes, David Beckham and Roy Keane are but few examples of the same. At a time when loyalty is a foreign word in any walk of life, let alone the money-driven world of football, you have shown that there are some things money can’t buy. To strive to succeed for 27 years is hard enough, to do it at one club is even harder. But to do it at a club of the stature of Manchester United is what makes the word ‘legend’ seem insufficient to describe it. The longevity can be truly illustrated only with the fact that the “kids” you nurtured are past their career and have taken to television punditry and coaching, while you still turned out on the pitch every single day. English football has seen more than a thousand managers come and go ever since you took over the reins at Old Trafford. You saw off the challenge of the rich Blackburn Rovers, the mighty Arsenal under Arsene Wenger and Chelsea with their Roubles, all the while playing spectacular football in a run that saw us increasing our league tally from 7 to 20 over the past 20 years, in the process silencing the Kop faithful. You always placed the club above individuals, including yourself, which in my humble opinion, is the greatest trait of a great human being. You have created a legacy at Old Trafford. One that would live on even after you. Even as we rejoice our landmark 20th league title, the noisy neighbours are raising their voices. And if there is one thing I am sure of,you have prepared and laid the foundation for Manchester United to take the bull by its horns and toss it away.To a legend who has been in charge of the club for 27 amazingly successful years. There is a lot more to be said, but words do not suffice or truly express what I feel. A few years down the line, when my people ask me who the greatest manager ever was, I would reply, “I don’t know.” Because frankly, it doesn’t matter. For, the “greatest ever” is a title given to someone who could be compared with another. And for me, you Sir Alex Ferguson are beyond comparison. Regards and a whole lot of gratitude, A Man Utd fan.
