Goke7: most ibadan peeps actually love they way Ibadan is underrated cos it easily deceives lots of folks about the true mega status of the city thereby controlling unnecessary inflation in Ibadan like we see in Lagos. I like you...but ibadan doesn't deserve to be underrated.I grew up with the impression that there are are just 3 cities in nigeria, lagos, ibadan and kano. The city is the cradle of modern Africa -first african tv station -first modern stadium in Africa -first skyscraper in subsaharan africa -first university in nigeria -first teaching hospital in nigeria and many more People should stop using the brown roof pictures to represent the city in this 21st century.it diminishes the status of the city and give a false impression about the city. These are better shot

NoToPile: Honestly, Ibadan is a very good place to live, affordable accommodation in decent areas no Lagos wahala, no terrible traffic like Lagos, food is also quite affordable. Forget all those brown roofs we see on social media, its quite little compared to decent areas, there are very good places in Ibadan, Even the old places like agodi , jerico, Bodija estate are quite okay not to talk of the new estates built.
Enjoyed the latter part of my Nysc.
Lagos wahala is too much. hmmmm...good,it id good not to be an IPOB.iPOBism becloud judgement.People still use that brown roof picture to represent ibadan officially, this normally give a false impression of the great city. What happened to skyline picture of dugbe central business district. |

Those positions are a call to service, not a call till I die. Recall that dino melaye went to HOR as a youth and he was a disgrace to the youth. |

To me,when I see a feminist,I see someone with low I.Q,if its a female, selfish and poor judgement sense.
The following sayings are popular and atimes strictly adhere to -women first -women always right -what a man can do a woman can do better -Behind every successful man there must be a woman -Never raise your hand woman
I've yet to see any parlance that gives preference for men yet they are shouting inequality.By the way, nature programmed the current status quo the way its and it can never be altered by human beings. |

KINGOFTHEEAST: my observation is a short one and snappy ....i have seen countless threads trying to pull down dino Malaye achievements , from nysc certificate to Abu certificate e.t.c and I ask why all these attacks ? the v.c of abu has come out to clear the air what other clarification do you need or is it because he didn't say what we wanted to hear and for that he has been compromised? ever since dino attacked tinubu's wife in the national assembly ,dino has known no peace its either Yorubas dig udep his cars and cribs demanding to know where he got the money from yet the turn blind eyes to the owner of half of Lagos ,oriental hotel and the highest shareholder of Lagos. Yoruba I thought dino is Yoruba by extension and here on nairaland we see comments like YORUBAS DONT INSULT THEIR OWN IRRESPECTIVE OF PARTY .why all these ? treat dino as you treat tinubu be fair in life so that nature and life can see you too I thought the children of renowned coward,Ojukwu owns lagos. How come a yoruba man owns half of lagos and also be the largest st shareholder...lolz..if you want to be tribalistic let it be factual and practical. |

Basic123: Nurses are too unprofessional.Among their unprofessionalism are shouting at patient and patient relatives, lack of hospital "customer" care and seeing doctors as their rivals. The work of the two are well delineated. The doctors formulate management plan and the Doctors also implement it with nurses. The nurses job is to implement the mgt plan formulated by the doctors with the doctors and they actually do this on shift bases as against doctors that work almost round the clock atimes.Even with the structure of the work delineation, one will expect one to get more pay than the other. |

funmisticqueen: i am a doctor but let this be the last time you ever disrespect the nursing profession. Who do you think you are, nursing is a profession made up of hardworking women who do the dirty work on the patient, nursing is a noble profession and get the respect it deserves in other countries not nigeria. A nurse is not your housemaid. Never you empty your stinking verbal diarrhoea here again Nurses are too unprofessional.Among their unprofessionalism is shouting at patient and patient relatives, lack of hospital "customer" care and seeing doctors as their rivals. The work of the two are well delineated.Doctor makes the diagnosis of the patient condition, formulates the management plan and Doctors implement it with nurses. The nurses job is to implement the mgt plan formulated by the doctors with him and they actually do this on shift bases as against doctors that work almost round the clock atimes.Even with the structure of the work delineation, one will expect one to get more pay than the other. |

oxyG: Which main jobs do the nurses do? Nigerian nurses are the most unprofessional I have ever seen;very lazy and temperamental You pay for Nursing Care in hospitals but the nurses will still tell you to cater for your patients.Nurses run shift duties but doctors work like donkeys. To be honest, Nigerian doctors are being overused. They go for weekend calls and still resume work immediately on Monday; no bathing, no brushing.Never can Nigerian doctors be compared to the Nurses, an eagle really looks like a chicken but they are never the same. The day Nigerian hospitals are privatised, that would be the day Nigerian nurses will know their levels.Nurses want to be paid like them but don't want to work the way they work. When Nurses go on strike, the hospitals still function because they can actually do your works. But when they go on strike, can you dare treating the patients? Please these people might be seen as getting money, they suffer more than they earn and never compare them to yourselves again. Mind you, I am not a doctor but actually have a number of them around me. Peace be upon us all. I love you. |
Politics › Buhari Has Nothing To Offer by Basic123(op): 10:02pm On Mar 26, 2017 |
I was optimistic about buhari government at the initial stage but I have come to realize that buhari just want to be called a president, nothing more.Hence, the reason for his serial attempts at becoming the president in the past which I thought he was due to his love for the country.
He is so incompetent and dull.He poses as if business of Nigeria governance doesn't concern him as epitomized with his constant silence on crucial issue happening and affecting the country he is governing. No wonder, ministers with the track record of excellent performance became incompetent under him, people like fashola, prof Adewole, fayemi and co.In short,he is a badluck.
He so tribalistic and insensitive to the extent that he has failed to pay any official visit to the nation's commercial capital of lagos and economic hotbeds of niger delta including crisis ravaged areas of southern kaduna and north east but has dimmed it fit to visit his hometown of daura on several occasions.
He promised change.Nothing ,I repeat I say nothing has changed positively in nigeria. He id just running the country the way he met it or even in a worse manner.
Guys,what do you think? |
