so in actual sense there is no floating and government is the market forces, they just put the price at their whims and caprices
Even their subsidy removal is haphazard
Na wao
Yes, both policies became haphazard because they were hurriedly implemented.

The more they keep the NFEM the more there is room for people to take advantage of the exchange rate and this is not true floating.
It is absolutely impossible to float the Naira abstractly.

It has to be controlled the way it is. Otherwise, it wld have been around N3,500 to $1 by now.

We borrow funds a lot, and we have lost a lot of foreign investments. More so, our export quantity have not really grown.

I don't think there is proper dissolution agreement between him and Annie. He needs to check that out. If u suddenly dump a woman, she will come back to harm, except God is with u, which means, u did ur very best during the relationship.

Well, I hope he is able to find peace of mind with this one. Good luck sir.

Floating Dollar from 470 to 1700
Fuel from 250 to 1100..
Food unaffordable
Yeah. That was the only major error that Tinubu made.

Stability is gradually returning to the Naira, and current events and projections shows that in 2025 and beyond, naira will at least be stable and gain a little strength.

If there can be continuity, or another leader with a good strategic team, Nigeria will gradually bounce back.

Security is a major issue now. I believe if the poverty challenge can be reduced, the kidnappings will reduce too.

Hmm, it's well.
Politics › Re: Tinubu’s Reelection: ACF, Others Tackle Ganduje Over No-vacancy Comment by Basicend:
Lol.

If it is the north that is trying to come into power in 2027, I say, Tinubu should definitely continue.

The north has nothing to offer Nigeria other than impose their backward thinking upon the entire nation. They should wait for 8 years.

Buhari and his type are absolutely clueless. Terribly incompetent.

If you checked, you will discover that our naira rate has been quite stable and predictable in the FX market within the last 6 months.

Thereby, giving businesses the chance to project and plan their process and activities. Tinubu actually met the country's treasury and economy at very dieing state.

The current CBN gov has been able to battle in some stability into the economy. It a bit clear that the current govt will gradually create a recovery path.

If Naira valuation issue is continuously addressed and more foreign investment is achieved. Expanding our exports tru Gas, agriculture and other mineral exploration should be pursued.

Then, obviously, Nigeria will regain it's place as the hub of African economic activities.

Some of them are usually being targeted within that particular time of the day.

That's sad. We leave in a desperate and wicked world. Rest in peace.

janeedema:
A bundle of contradiction your statement is, I tell you.

How do you place “true love” in a list, then go ahead and claim that if your hubby doesn’t provide you with money and sex, you will look elsewhere?

Wait! Are the things listed meant to be from your hubby alone?

Well, when you marry, you marry your partner’s excesses as well as his strengths. There is a such a thing as working on a marriage.

True God orchestrated marriage, but no good marriage is made in heaven.

Every enviable marriage are made on earth by two people who put in the work by embracing knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of the subject matter as instructed by God’s holy book.

Every one good in bed learned the act. They weren’t born in heaven with expertise. So why should you cheat on your hubby because of this? Understanding entails you both learn the act together—since you are a maniac who chose to marry.

Every one who has money built from somewhere, if money matters so much to you, then why marry the poor man in the first place to contemplate cheating?

If you aim to cheat because your hubby no longer has money, that is bizarre to say the least—but people do all sorts.

Truth is, putting true love in your list is just off.

Cause you can’t marry for true love and have issues with the other two things you listed.

Albeit, if you expect only your hubby to provide all three while you are the recipient. That is already a dead marriage working.

It is frustrating to keep giving and not receiving. It is killing to keep trying to make improvements and not receive encouragement to be better.

So I’ll pity your “hubby” because he will be a frustrated man.

Because even the Bible is clear on this:

Can two walk together unless they agree?

Agreement should be on spiritual, mental, and physical level.

So talk it out with your fiancé and consider if you want to proceed before saying, I do.

Alternatively, if you are in a marital commitment already and feel it isn’t working, instead of cheating on your spouse by getting it elsewhere, please ask for a divorce.

But to cheat on a man who truly loves you because he no longer can provide or not a champion in a bed is a decision that will breed shame.

Regards.
Wao! This is coming from a Nigerian lady.

Then, may be there is hope, eventually.

Most Nigerians ladies don't have ur mindset o. I pray God protects you well from evil peers.

You are a rare breed. I wish I can see ur face personally. Kudos!

Probably, the gospel singer is not good in bed.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t sing for God, but still have time for other physical things God created

I know money answers all things, but there are some additional things men need to do to make his marriage/relationship work. undecided

Money
Sex
True love

If I’m not going enough satisfaction from this 3 things in listed from my man, I will definitely look elsewhere. I’m sorry undecided
Rubbish.

Are you ready to give him true love in return?

You are already 50% in and 50% out even from the beginning. You are an error.

That is why I have said it several times here that Sowowe is not matured enough for President.

Even thou he is a very bold character, he speaks like a tout at times.

Peter Obi or Atiku would not have attacked a religious body or the nation's apex police officer in this way. It is very unnecessary of him.

Well, that's his problem.

By the time he is recycled in the prison or Nigerian detention about 9 times within the next 6 years, he eyes and brain will gradually adjust with age.

This was a big mistake made by Nelson Mandela for allowing Whites to stay after apartheid ended. His wife warned him and objected to the proposal.

I like Trump for being straightforward. Maybe African Christians who support genocide in Gaza in the name of religion will now wake up if Trump pushes further on Blacks
If the Whites had not stayed, SA would have been close to Zimbabwe by now in decline rate.

They (the blacks) will still mess up the whole place with corruption, it's only a matter of time.

You were quite correct about everything u said, apart from "king-to-be". He was never in-line to be the king.

It's very wrong and absolutely terrible for a man to substitute his earned image and reputation just for the sake of woman's love. That's a terrible decision.

(1) Being a great footballer does not translate automatically into being a good club administrator or manager. They are 2 different roles.

(2) Did Kanu lobby for the the job or it was forced or placed on him due to his footballing status?

(3) There are different departments in a well structured club that handle tasks via it's directors / managers. Such as technical, recruitment, scouting, logistics, training, administrative etc.
So the chairman may not necessarily be around often. As long as he has good relationship with the board members.

They should iron out their issues amongst themselves.

It should be enough for BDC’s. All Cardoso has to do now is encourage Banks to activate their naira cards again so people can use dollars directly at the official rate from the Banks. Then ban dollar cash of more than $200.
Hmm. In effect, they are honestly trying to face out BDCs.

If banks activate their debit cards for FX, they always have a cap on it. Maximum $200 to $500 daily or $1,000 / month.
That cannot be sufficient for SMEs that do daily importation. And, since they cant access it from CBN or any other approved trading window. The liquidity challenge still prevails.

Travel › Re: My Experience In America: A Comparison With Nigeria by Basicend:
America is the arguably the most developed country in the world.

You can't be comparing Nigeria to US at this point at all. Currently, Nigeria has dropped to about the 4th or 5th GDP rate in Africa despite it's population, thanks to Naira devaluation.

Nigeria's per-capital income is amongst the lowest even amongst African nations currently. Poor currency, high borrowing rate with hyper inflation.

If it was Nigeria under Obasanjo or GEJ, we could probably try to compare it to other aspiring nations.

The factors mentioned above as concerning Nigeria makes it difficult for any organisation to dispense good welfare and remuneration. Coz most of them are on the verge of dieing from brutal governmental decisions.
