Can't the world just unite against US and Israel. Surely, they'll lose. This is why we need to strengthen BRICS. This is the year i finally support the rise of China.
Trust me, I have been engaged in many transactions with Chinese and Americans.

Americans are more open people. Americans are people with a better / fair conscience than the Chinese.
Americans are not as racial as Chinese.

China will eventually take over after some few years obviously, but when they assume the throne, you will see their true nature.

People should try and enhance their skills in this era.

It's not about Japa, but what you can do at where you are. It is only those that can think out of the box, conceive ideas, and pay the price to follow tru, that will flourish anywhere at this current time globally.

And yet, they want to bring their Sharia law to the South West. . So that South West can join in their primitiveness and backwardness?

What basis are they using to market their Sharia law?

They should find means to prioritize and spread western education to their youths. That's the way out. And stop being a parasite to Nigeria.

For Nigerians trying to save your monies or investments in US dollars. Think very well now, before it's becomes late.

That clown (Trump) will ruin the USD in few months.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Trade War: Canada, Mexico & China Vow Retaliatory Moves Over Trump's Tariffs by Basicend:
localbreed:
This is not a fair fight. The US has much upper hands. All these countries rely heavily on the US import to grow their economy. Even the retaliation may harm their economy more than it would do to the US economy.

For fact check.. The US is China's biggest importer. The US import from China more than the whole EU combined.

As of Canada, they are literally reliant on the US importation (of raw materials).
Please, what do you term as "fair"? What backs the printed US dollar?

The resultant effect of Trump's protectism tariff move is that a new, or an existing alternative trading block will be strengthened.

BRICS, most likely, or a similar alternative block will be formed and supported by even US allies.

International trading fragments will spring up.

*** American domiciled SWIFT (international trading settlement system) will be bye-passed gradually, and ultimately by all. Hence, reducing the demand and value of the US dollar. I believe that is one of the major reasons he has been threatening the whole world.

All major US allies within the EU are already in support of Canada. Germany had sent a partnering inquiry / correspondence to BRICS.

Russia has been growing stronger with US tariff sanctions. . China has every capacity to survive, same as India.

Trump will put the American economy in huge inflation, recession and isolation.

*** If Trump and the USA looses ties with the EU, Canada, Mexico, Colombia and it's neighbouring friends, he will make America very naked.

Trump will plunge america into economic recession within just 1 year in office, and that is if he is able to survive the office til then.

Fought Canada, Fought France, Mexico, EU, WHO, I mean, these are your only major allies for God sake.

Apart from his anti-gay policy, he has appeared absolutely out of track.

Huge global recession coming due to this clown. Coz China already slammed about 75% on American imports last week. As retaliation on the 10% imposed by trump.

Global and domestic tensions can only continue to rise as it is.
Politics › Re: Nigerians Suffering Due To Your Anti-people Policies – Bode George To Tinubu by Basicend: 12:18pm On Feb 01, 2025
Since Tinubu has arrogantly trigged hyper inflation in a Nigeria due to his ill-timed and repulsive decisions and policies. . Just as it seems some stability may gradually be setting-in on the Nigerian economic front. .

Another arrogant and over-myopic leader, Donald Trump, is already on the verge of triggering a global trade war. His foolish protectionism policies will majorly cause another set of rising global inflation and job / business losses due to tit-for-tat tariff hike from US, and some affected countries.

Every country will be impacted, and the poorer nations will feel the hit the most.

Cool. Hope that helps the economy. If it doesn't, this news is useless
Yes, it does.

Once backlogs are verified as valid by CBN, the subject FX funds will be duly paid to the affected banks or organisations.

Such action will boost investors confidence in the economy. Naira should also begin to gain value in the market.

There will be more liquidity for banks and affected businesses to run their transactions. Leading to higher GDP.

However, I believe he says and does all that because he himself is very knowledgeable (being a journalist) and he has some very good lawyers around him.

He still doesn't have the experience and maturity to handle Nigeria as a president.

Instead of them to tackle govt on how to reduce cost of utilities and fuel.

Nigeria is an extremely tough and complicated nation to rule.

It's only a brave and knowledgeable lion, that is, "madly-tough man" that can rule successfully in the mist of many stubborn and difficult people like us.

Grammer, brilliancy or eloquence is not enough.

Osibanjo will never be able to challenge any of the powerful evil lions that are holding the nation down. He will just be used a puppet by the Northern cabals. . And if you don't challenge a core problem, you won't achieve anything meaningful in the task.

Obasanjo was a knowledgeable and bold lion, that's why he ruled relatively successful.

Tinubu is obviously a very bold lion too, but his approach to corruption is not convincing enough. However, he has employed a good team of ministers and he is far better than Buhari.

Let's just keep praying for Nigeria. That's it.

Yeah. .

He has gased a global trade war, which will metamorphose by the time it begins to touch big players like China, South Korea, India, Japan, Germany, Italy, Saudi, Brazil even Nigeria etc.

Every country, directly or indirectly depends on America.
Their economy is enough to cause global depression, they can mount sanction on any country whether china, Germany or any other country.

The are world power for a reason
That's the clear truth.

However, with the manner President Trump is going about it, it can only backfire.

The narrative of Trump and the American press that China is dubious by its govt subsidizing products is an american sentiment. US is complaining only becoz China is not practicing capitalism. Which is a choice and a taylored strategy for their economic growth.

If China had not emerged, most citizens in countries like Nigeria and many other 3rd world countries wld not have access to many tech and needed infrastructure. That's the framework of World Bank, IMF etc.

Another concern of trump is that many of these nations that are ripping off America, made their wealth tru the liberty and access granted to them by the US,
Particularly China. Yes, true in a way.

He needs to calm down and review these things with his team.

When you choke all your major trading partners excessive tariffs, they'll form an alternative to survive.

You can't fight the whole world. I am so surprised with the way he has treated Canada. Such a shame.

The truth is that, I do not see any changes in the north very soon, there's still a little hope for the South bcs of their little understanding about that religion stuff.

But you see North, I'm sorry, the North will get worse, it's not a cause, but that's the truth.
Islamic Mullahs have really dealt with their orientations that major of them can't beyond religion anymore.

Religion has done lot of harm to their thinking facilities.

It's just a pity!!!
You have said it has it is.

Western EDUCATION!!! Is the key to their needed development. And this fact applies to every region within Nigeria.

The reason we are having the permeation of more kidnapping, ritual killings, armed robbery and related vices is basically due to illiteracy.

An educated mind will often think outside of his immediate circumstance and create legitimate opportunities to survive.

An uneducated mind that does not have available resources or fund will / can not view any hope ahead. Hence, sees crime as the only way out.

If our govt and regional leaders can prioritize education and make it very affordable at least at elementary and secondary level, we will be able to resolve some of these issues.

Tinubu is obviously not a religious bigot. His appointments have been quite balanced.

He only saw the Muslim-Muslim ticket as the most strategic means to enter into the Northern hierachy for the election.

His wife is a practicing Christian. That's explains a lot about his view to life.

However, some Islamic groups have been trying to systematically enforce their courts and ideas around, esp in SW with no govt backing thou. Generally, our religious tolerance is healthy nationwide.

Kudos to him and his VP.

At what labour and operational facility rate sir?

Trump thinks it's a forceful and mechanical approach with tariffs that will address the American decline.

Oga, America has reached its peak, and another order in global trade and power is about to set in.

These steps will create an artificial inflation in the USA soon, and create an isolation of it's economy.

The only way he may delay it, is perhaps, fund more research for inventions, and reduce or cut off excessive spending on proxy wars and foreign aids. Then, re-appropriate the derived proceeds into more manufacturing and exportation.
