Too many perverted minds in the US.

Their system has really been messed up with all kinds of sexual ills. Trump may attempt a cleaning up process, but it will take years for real results to take hold.

That's if they see a need to do anything about it.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Syria's New Government Cancels Russian Port Lease At Tartus. by Basicend:
Russia (Putin) does not have economic power to spread bases and combat the American strategic spread in several locations.

The only reason the world powers are careful with attacking Russia is their age-long war weapon assets, particularly, the nuclear ones. In which, a lot are already obsolete.

Apart from a nuclear war which may most likely destroy both ends, Russia is very far below USA in leveraging infrastructure and logistics for further expansion of its presence and influence.

That is why you will see that America is often much bothered today about China and everything it does. Becoz China has closed-marked them in many areas and have the capacity to meet up and surpass.

Hmm. . Congrats to the man.

But am sad, because this approach is only meant for 1% of kidnapped cases in the nation.

This clearly shows that if Nigeria Police really want to do their job properly, definitely, they can do it.

What is the fate of over thousands of people all over Nigeria currently that their relatives are in the den of Kidnappers?

NPF and govt does not care obviously.

Chelsea go give them wotowoto
Chelsea and City has a useless defence.

Chelsea will have more energy, city will have more experience.

Both teams love to attack, both love to press. So it will be a very interesting and goal-filled match.

It will be like 3:3 or 4:4 score line.

Some people are so myopic and stupid at the same time and they don't think about the long time implications of their actions

Some people are supporting this kemi bad-anus today not because she's doing the right thing but because they hate the president and d country

D woman is so empty to the extent that anytime she's asked a question she can't explain she starts talking about Nigeria

Imagine being asked about policing policies in UK amidst some other questions n the next thing is Nigeria this n that, even when the interviewer had to bring up d policing in UK again she still talked about Nigeria

Those supporting her don't know that they are giving her a voice now cos she hates d country n they themselves hates d country, what if d one they love becomes president tomorrow will they start saying she was wrong?

The same people who gave Reno omokri a voice cos he hated Buhari n now he has d voice n he's using it against them n they want us to see Reno their lost love as a charlatan

They hated Buhari sote they destabilised their region, now Buhari is gone n their problem remains

They are so stupidly myopic n hate driven
@the bolded. I may not be able to support or tackle your points. Of course they are subjective and you are right to some extent.

However, Kemi is not "empty" at all, but a very intelligent woman to be very honest.

She is well vast. Don't even got there.

I have listened to her many times. She just needs to be calming down a bit more.

BigDawsNet:
I don't understand how a government can tax its citizens so heavily in a country where the average income is only $48 per month.
Bro, it's a complicated issue. The taxing thing is hinged on the core determinants such as fuel price which is also hinged on FX rate.

The Telcos are struggling too, and to be honest, they need to breathe.

What I think the govt must do in this case is to ensure that this year, the FX rate is at least stabilized.

If FX rate can be pegged, there will be sustainable planning for everyone, that is businesses and the consumers.

Look, if crude oil price rises tomorrow, which is likely, current pump price in Nigeria will further go up again. . And these things reflect in the profitability of these companies.

If naira to USD can come down a bit (to stable at around N1,400), that's the major way to mitigate against the effect of price volatility of PMS and diesel. . Which hugely determines inflation and business costs.

Truth is, Canada has nothing much to offer again. But until their eyes see, they won't accept.

House rent alone is becoming crazy, not to mention utility bills and added taxes.

If you have #40 million and above, and you decide to trade it for a relocation to Canada or UK, and you are in your late thirties and above, then that's a vet very tricky decision.

Brother,

N3 million proceeds from e-commerce / online monthly information from ur boss might not be true. Check the details again.

Since u stated that it is still a side-thing, meaning the scale of it may still be limited

Yes, he can easily make N3m from monthly turnovers (surely), but as profit, if it happens, it cannot be constant at all.

I run such a thing, and yes, I know it is profitable especially when you have 1 or 2 other streams of income. I am into high-tech products basically, and I agree they move well and very profitable.

* It is easily understandable if you said he makes N1m monthly often as profit.

Nope, they had YouTube before TikTok.

Those affected can divert to YouTube and use YouTube shorts.

National security should be more important to them. * How was Israel able to blow up several pagers and radios in the hands of Hezbollah supporters? Becoz they had secret access to details.

TikTok is seen as a spying vehicle, used by the Chinese govt, and any powerful nation that want to last at the top, must continuously block all leakages to espionage.

If America permits TikTok to run in the US, while China bans YouTube, FB, Twitter and others from running in their own country, then something is wrong with the US.

If China is cutting off USA's apps and softwares from gaining access to their data, and suspicion of spying, they should be prepared for same treatment from the US.

@GTBank, I am still surprised to see that they even made profits that much at year end, 2024.

Yet their customer service efficiency and software tools have been terrible in recent months. That bank has lost its model since Tayo Aderinoku died in my opinion.

Transcorp being in there as profitable business last year is another surprise. If their papers are true, I believe it's majorly due to Elumelu's UBA as liquidity back up.

Nigeria does not need to join BRICS or any of such trading group currently.

We were supposed to wait and watch what unfolds between the Western trading powers and China / Russia.

The counsequence of sanctions will be harder on us bcoz of our weak economy.

I think obviously due to population and a highly skilled human resources, China will soon take over international trade. But it will not be easy.

America will heavily fight via Trump and the growth of China will be temporarily delayed.

Most nations apart from USA including Russia, Germany and others are already placing about 100% tariffs on Chinese goods. Coz everyone is waking up.

If the developed world does not apply tariff to Chinese goods, China will sweep over every where, even within the next 2 years.

Hence, China's goods, manufacturers and in a larger scale, their economy is currently experiencing growing challenges too.

Let's see how it goes.

What is 150m? They will pay it and still withhold the money. They make more money not putting the money in ATM
#150 million is a lot of money as a fine o.

How much is the required capital reserve / base of those banks? It was just early last year that CBN raised it from #50 billion to #500 billion. Many of them are still struggling to meet up. If you remove 150m from it, it will shake any of those banks a little.

Especially regional banks like Globus, Providus etc.

That's the fact.

If you are not a salary earner, with such a monthly income level, you will definitely not be comfortable.

Because it is required that most of much of your income at this stage should be re-invested back into the business for expansion.

I can relate.

Please keep building up your business base, you will rest with time. I believe Tinubu is gradually getting a direction for a stable economy.
Career › Re: Is ₦650k Monthly Income Not Considered A Good Income? by Basicend:
You are not poor with about 600k monthly.

You are just sneaking into the almost eroded middle-income category.

10 years ago (@2014), an entry-level executive in most banks / telecoms, FMCGs and multinationals earn around 180k as monthly salary. And they could do a lot of good things.

Currently, I think they are mostly earning around 400k to 500k. Trust those companies to have factored inflationary increments.

If you do not have children yet, and not from a family where you have many people to take care of financially, and you don't carry expensive ladies around, and ur taste is not too high for luxuries, I think you should be okay financially.

Such a capacity does not apply to this bus oga. Those are for highest capacity vehicles for now.

Do you understand what a shift in Lagos is?Have you observed or managed a bus fleet running shifts in Lagos?

A shift for morning alone can be from Akoka to Badagry / Sangotedo / Lekki, Apapa, Sango-Otta area etc and will do that to and fro.

A shuttle run at least 3 shifts per day.

Do you understand the impact of traffic hold-up and jams and how long those roads are?

You young kids just come online and spontaneously drop words.

*** Mind you, Lagos to Ibadan is 85 miles. Which takes about 1 hours 15 minutes at average speed. That's a sample for you.
