Again Trump negotiated the agreement that drastically cut Oil production because he said gas prices were too low. The oil production cut lead to an increase in the price of gas. Oil/Gas prices are an input cost for any good, so Trump's oil production cut caused some of the inflation post pandemic. So, Trump bears some responsibility for not only the high gas prices but also some of the inflation (globally as well, since the increase in oil prices was global).
