Justice should be blind. We can't have differing rules for differing people based on how hard they cry/compain. If the standard is the "perception of impropriety", then pass a law that says that. But you can't have conservative justices like Thomas being held to a standard below "actual conflict", while Democratic ones are held to a standard of "perception of impropriety".
