On sentencing prosecutors requested judges to impose 3 times more severe sentences ie enhanced sentencing based on that blocking administration of justice thing. The judges happily complied, a victim was sentenced to two years for just walking into the capitol for a few minutes. He has won his appeal.
The DC court ruling requires the sentencing to be redone.
