Nsukka town has more than ten commercial banks (campus not included), making it the second urban area in enugu state and therefore can not be categorised as a rural area. Enugu shud enjoy only marginal advantage as the capital but in actual sense, enugu state is made up of enugu region and nsukka region. Emene, Abakpa, 9th mile etc are enugu suburb while udi, nkanu, awgu are enugu rural. same way, obollo afor, orba, opi etc are nsukka suburbs while uzo uwani, enugu ezike, igbo etiti etc are nsukka rural |

guardsman: [b]Grow up & get over ur hatred of Tinubu because it is becoming a mental problem. Ur narrowing of Saraki's betrayal down to one man is really silly. Saraki betrayed d APC, d president & d nigerian people who wanted a change frm d PDP whom they threw out of power. It is unfair & wicked to deduce dat PMB is party to Saraki's courting of d discredited PDP. During d elections, PMB was d cheerleader of d APC mantra - APC SAK (APC frm top to bottom). Wit all dat d PDP threw at him, he overcame them only 4 Saraki to throw them a lifeline thru his inordinate ambition. Maybe u ar too young or blinded by hate but when d history of nigeria is written, Tinubu's name will be written in gold. d Asiwaju, a patriot & frontline member of NADECO played a prominent role in d struggle 4 democracy in Nigeria. Even in dis dispensation he has contributed immensely towards deepening our democracy & breaking d back of d evil hegemony dat promised to rule nigeria 4 d next 60yrs whether they perform or not. Rawani: Quite true. VP Osibanjo should consider tying the marketers to be involved in the oil-swap agreements to banking instruments such that if they fail to deliver the agreed quantity of refined products exchanged for our sweet crude, they will lose their money. This will hopefully minimize the inherent risks typical of such arrangements.
I wonder what his detractors are looking at, VP Osibanjo is looking every bit Presidential and displays a commanding persona in those photos. u ppl hv started again. Overhyping ur local champions, thank God Tinubu didn't plant his men in NASS to impeach Buhari and foist a local comisioner on us tru d backdoor |

Politics › Re: Before We Forget History: Tinubu CV Vs Saraki CV by basilo101: 11:49am On Jun 26, 2015 |
OduaVanguard: You obviously have comprehension issues. I repeat that Tinubu controls the entire APC machinery of the SW (the ruling PDP states of Ekiti and Ondo inclusive -- APC has two out of the three Ondo senators at the upper house and could even win the next governorship election). That Fayose rules Ekiti as a PDP governor has NOTHING to do with the APC machinery of the states -- they two entirely separate issues, punk!
Again, I repeat that you have comprehension issues. In the senate, Saraki had to beg for the SS/SE support coz he lacked majority votes from the SW, NW, NE, and NC Senators of the APC at the Senate, that was why Ndume lost to Ekweremadu coz there weren't enough APC senators present to vote for him -- the PDP senators simply overwhelmed the APC ones present at that point in time.
Dogara also got most of his vote from the SS/SE and SW PDP and few opposition parties reps like Accord and Labour. He simply lacked enough APC reps. Votes to get a convincing win like Tambuwal did before him (he won by about 6 votes, most of which came from the SS/SE, the overwhelming majority of NW, SW, NC and some NE votes went to Gbaja).
You are not the first to predict that his career will end as a result of a political setback, many said same after APC lost Ekiti only for them to retain Osun in spite of GEJ's militarization of that election and went on to defeat GEJ despite Federal might.
As for Osun, Aregbe will not be impeached and will serve out his remaining 3yr term, and regardless Osun will never go PDP so keep dreaming.
Keep hating APC bro, but be assured it will spend at least the next16yrs in power whether you like it or not u ppl r jst being st.upid by saying that Tinubu defeated GEJ. Dats y d north will kip punishing u. Hw cn u claim u defeated GEJ with a margin of 600k votes which GEJ got frm one state in se/ss? |

VirginFinder: Wasnt that what was thought of GEJ? It's a matter of time.
Was the SW ever in contention for the senate leader and deputy position? So why the noise?
What SW is gunning for is Chief Whip. And has that been announced?
Also, some folks are equating Tinubu to Yoruba. Isnt that madness?
FYI, Yorubas(SW,NC) have gotten more than enough already from the alliance with the north. We have nos 2,3 and 6. A feat even the Hausa/Fulani have never achieved. Any other thing is icing on the cake.
You ibos should go and sleep. Yorubas will always be way above you in Nigeria.
